Human Anatomy

Students will learn about the functions of the human body and how they recognise the causes of illness. Students can understand the concepts of anatomy and physiology. This subject provides the concepts and practical applications to assess, diagnose and track a patient’s health.

Sociology

Students will get to learn about the study of human behaviour and human interactions, which is required to determine human behaviour. It also allows students to enhance the quality of patient care.

Nutrition

With this subject, students will study the concept of nutrition in food, how the body uses it, and the relationship between diet, health, and diseases. 

Biochemistry

Biochemistry is the study of the application of chemistry at the cellular and molecular levels. Students will learn about the biological process, which takes place in cells and organisms. The study of biochemistry includes the structure of proteins, carbohydrates, enzymes, fats, etc, that takes place in any living being in the environment.

Psychology

Students get to learn about the scientific study of the mind and behaviour in this subject. Through this subject, students will learn about the activities involved in studying and understanding the mental process, brain functions, and behaviour of a patient.

Microbiology

Microbiology is the study of those living organisms that are not visible to the naked eye and are considered too small in size. Students also learn about the concepts of microbiology, the characteristics of microbes, and their infection controls under this subject.

Computers

Computers are also required in the study of nursing. Students get to learn about computers that are used to access important information about the health and illness of a patient. Nurses use computers in a laboratory to access laboratory tests and X-rays and prepare health reports accordingly.

Medical health nursing

Students will learn about medical asepsis. This subject teaches detecting common symptoms and signs of a patient's health. Medical health nursing also teaches how to deal with respiratory problems, digestive disorders, common blood vascular problems, etc.
