Indian Army BSc Nursing 2025 or MNS 2025 notification for admission to BSc nursing/MNS programme will tentatively be released in July 2025. It will be mandatory to fill out the Indian Army BSc Nursing application forms within time to participate in the admission process. The registration process for the Indian Army BSc Nursing 2025 will extend till August 2025. The selection committee or Directorate General of Medical Services (DGMS) will conduct the Indian Army BSc Nursing aptitude test and counselling for granting admission to the BSc nursing course. 

There are 220 seats for which the Indian Army BSc Nursing exam will be conducted. The counselling date/interview dates will be shared through an official notification. Only those candidates who are declared qualified in the NEET UG exam are eligible to apply. The official notification is expected to release in May 2025.

It should be noted that admission to the MNS BSc nursing programme is based on the fact that the candidate must appear for the NEET 2025 entrance exam. Further, the official admission schedule for the interview and aptitude test (ToGIGE) will be published on the official website of MNS services.     

Q:   Is Indian Army BSc Nursing exam on online or offline exam?

A: 

It is an online exam which will be conducted for a duration of 30 minutes. The basic eligibility is to appear for the NEET UG exam. In addition to the, the MNS exam requires candidates to appear for an aptitude test named Test of General Intelligence and General English (TOGIGE). This exam is conducted in addition to the Psychological Aptitude Test (PAT) which is required to shortlist candidates for the interview.

Q:   How many seats will be available through MNS nursing exam?

A: 

Six institutions in India provide a total of 220 BSc. nursing seats. Candidates can apply for the exam to seek admission on these seats in the Indian Army cadre. Those six institutes are stationed in different location namely, CON, AFMC, Pune; CON, CH (EC), Kolkata; CON, INHS Asvini, Mumbai; CON, AH (R&R), New Delhi; CON, CH (CC), Lucknow; and CON, CH (AF), Bangalore.

Directorate General of Medical Services (DGMS) conducts Indian Army BSc Nursing exam for Colleges of Nursing of Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS). About Indian Army BSc Nursing 2025

Indian Army Nursing exam 2025 is a national-level entrance exam conducted for admission to four-year BSc nursing programmes. Only female candidates are eligible to apply for the BSc nursing entrance exam, that will be conducted by the DGMS or Directorate General of Medical Services (Indian Army). Female candidates will compete for a total of 220 seats across India, and their selection is based solely on their performance in the written examination followed by a personal interview. DGMS will conduct the Indian Army BSc Nursing exam for candidates who qualify NEET UG 2025 exam. The MNS entrance exam, i.e. Test of General Intelligence and General English (TOGIGE) will be a computer-based test (CBT) followed by a Psychological Aptitude Test (PAT).

Q:   How many times Indian Army BSc Nursing exam is conducted in a year?

A: 

The Indian Army BSc Nursing aptitude exam is conducted only once a year for admission to BSc nursing course. The conducting bosy accept the score of NEET entrance exam for assessing the aptitude of the aspirants. Later, a seperate aptitude test known as Test of General Intelligence and General English (TOGIGE) is conducted online followed by a Psychological Aptitude Test (PAT). These tests ensure that the candidate is eligible to seek entry to the Indian Army on set parameters. 

Interested candiadates must register for NEET along with the TOGIGE aptitute test to participate in the counselling conducted for Indian Army BSc nursing programme.

Yes, from 2022 onwards, Directorate General of Medical Services (DGMS) mandated that female candidates who have registered and appeared for NEET UG will be eligible to apply for the 4-year Indian Army BSc Nursing programme.

DGMS does not conduct any separate exam for admission to MNS BSc nursing course. Candidates must appear for NEET UG exam 2025 to be eligible to appear for the Indian Army BSc nursing aptitude test. However, a screening test which is also known as an aptitude test is held known as Computer Based Test of General Intelligence, General English (ToGlGE) and personal interview to be conducted by the selection board.

Indian Army BSc Nursing Application Process 2025

DGMS will commence the Indian BSc Nursing Application process 2025 from July 2025 onwards. The Indian Army BSc Nursing 2025 application process for the current academic year begins with registration. Here are the steps below to fill out the application form are mentioned below: 

Step 1: Indian Army BSc Nursing Registration 2025 

Candidates had to register themselves first by providing their basic details such as name, mother’s name, father’s name, date of birth, mail ID, mobile number, etc.

Step 2: OTP verification

After submitting the basic details the authority will verify the contact details provided by the candidates in the registration stage by sending an OTP to their registered mail ID and mobile number. The OTP was required to be submitted on the login page to confirm the verification.

Step 3. Filling MNS application form

After the OTP confirmation process, to fill out the application form, the candidates have to log in to their accounts using their name and the password they have created during the registration.  Candidates have to provide all their personal and academic details in the application form.

Step 4. Uploading of photo and signature

In this step, candidates have to upload their scanned photograph and signature in the specified format and specifications.

Step 5: Payment of Indian Army BSc Nursing Application Fee

The application process is only concluded after the payment of the application fee. After making a payment a DU number (It is a reference number used for banking purposes) will be generated, candidates are required to keep this number safely with them.

Q:   What is the last date to apply for the Indian Army BSc Nursing exam?

A: 

The last date to apply for the Indian Army BSc Nursing exam has not been announced yet. As per the schedule of the NEET 2025 exam, the conducting body will release the dates for admission on the official website, joinindianarmy.nic.in. The last date to apply online for MNS BSc will be provided accordingly. 

It is mandatory for aspirants to appear for the NEET UG exam in order to apply for the MNS entrance. As per the notification, the screening process was held at Base Hospital, Delhi Cantt.

Q:   Do I need to submit the hard copy of the MNS BSc nursing application form?

A: 

No, Indian Army BSc Nursing application process is entirely conducted in online mode. All candidates (expect SC/ST) need to pay INR 200/- as an application fee in online mode. The SC/ST candidates need to upload their certificate/document proof in place of fee payment. On completion of the fee payment, a bank reference number will be generated and the same shall me displayed on the confirmation page of the application form.

Q:   How can I make changes to my Indian Army BSc Nursing application form?

A: 

There is no way to make changes to the application form once it has been successfully submitted. As a result, it is recommended that candidates take caution when filling out the application form. The MNS exam does not allows for application correction window after the application process concludes. Candidates need to pay INR 200/- to fill out the application form. SC/ST candidates are expected to make fee payment for the entrance exam.

Q:   What is the application cost for the Indian Army BSc Nursing application form for candidates from the restricted categories?

A: 

Regardless of a candidate's caste, an application fee of INR 200 will be required at the time of filling out the form for Indian Army BSc Nursing. However, SC/ST candidates are expected from making the fee payment. They are required to upload a documented proof of their category issued by competent authority from not below Rank 1st class Magistrate/Tehsildar/Sub Divisional Officer of the area.

Indian Army BSc Nursing Eligibility Criteria 2025

Indian Army BSc Nursing eligibility criteria 2025 will be decided by the conducting body Directorate General of Medical Services (DGMS) to determine the competency of the candidates to serve the Indian Army as a nurse. Students before filling out the application form are advised to check the eligibility criteria for Indian Army BSc Nursing. The MNS BSc eligibility criteria is mentioned below: 

  • Only female candidates who are Citizens of India
  • Should have appeared and qualified NEET Exam
  • Nationality: Citizen of India
  • Date of Birth: One must be born between October 1, 2001, and September 30, 2010 (Both days are inclusive). 
  • Female applicants who are unmarried/divorced/legally separated/ widow without encumbrances. 
  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 on the first attempt with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB), and English with not less than 50% aggregate marks. 
  • Those who are appearing in the final examination may also apply provisionally (if selected for the course, they will have to submit proof of passing the qualifying examination with the required marks and subjects.
  • Physical Standards: Applicants from North East region should have a height of up to 147 cm while for all others it must be up to 152 cm.
  • The candidates have to appear for the X-ray examination of the Chest and Ultra Sonography (USG) of the pelvis and abdomen.

A: 

Candidate must have passed in the FIRST Attempt, senior secondary examination (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and English with not less than 50 per cent as regular student from a recognised board/statutory/University/Examination body. Candidates who have qualified NCC 'C' are required to upload their certificate during the time of application process.

Q:   Can Men apply for the Indian Army BSc nursing programme?

A: 

No, the Indian Army BSc nursing test is solely for female students. Female candidates who are unmarried/divorcee/legally separated/widow without encumbrances and born between 01 Oct 1998 and 30 Sep 2006 (both days inclusive) can apply for the entrance exam. The minimum height required for entry into Armed Forces for female candidates is 152 cm. Candidates from Hill and Northeastern States will be accepted with a minimum height of 147 cm.

Indian Army BSc Nursing Exam Pattern 2025

Applicants who qualified NEET UG exam will only be eligible to apply for the Indian Army BSc Nursing exam. A list of shortlisted candidates will be uploaded to the official website. Selected candidates will have to further appear for an online exam, Test of General Intelligence and General English (ToGIGE), and a Psychometric Aptitude Test (PAT) which will be qualifying in nature. The marks obtained in PAT will not be included in preparing the final merit list. 

The syllabus of questions asked in this exam will be the same as the NEET exam syllabus

The Indian Army Nursing admit card 2025 will not be issued to candidates as no written exam will be conducted. Candidates interested in admission to India Army BSc nursing will have to mandatorily appear for the NEET UG exam. It will be released by the exam conducting authorities.

Indian Army Nursing Result 2025

NEET UG result 2025 will be considered for further selection rounds for the candidates seeking admission to the Indian Army BSc nursing programme. NEET UG results will be declared online by NTA. The NEET UG result has been declared in the form of a scorecard. Candidates can check and download their scorecard online only.

After the result is declared, shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview and medical examination. Based on the performance of a candidate in all the rounds, written exam, personal interview and medical examination, a final merit list will be prepared. After satisfying all the medical and other physical prerequisites, the candidates will be given admission to their respective choice of college, out of the total six colleges of nursing institutes across India.
