DRDO CEPTAM 2024: Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Centre for Personnel Talent Management (CEPTAM) will soon release DRDO CEPTAM 2024 notification. DRDO CEPTAM apply online link will be activated after the notification is published. DRDO CEPTAM notification is released for the posts of Stenographer Grade-I, Junior Translation Officer (JTO), Stenographer Grade-II, Administrative Assistant ‘A’, Store Assistant ‘A’ Security Assistant ‘A’ Vehicle Operator ‘A’, Fire Engine Driver ‘A’, and Fireman under Admin & Allied CETPAM 10 (A&A).

 

Q:   What is the required educational qualification for applying to DRDO CEPTAM?

A: 

The educational qualification is different for different posts. For Tech A post, the required educational qualification is Class 10 with certification from ITI in relevant trade. For A & A post, candidates applying to the posts of Clerk, Asstt Halwai-cum Cook, Vehicle Operator, Fire Engine Driver, Fireman must have passed Class 10 while for Stenographer, Administrative Assistant (English Typing), Administrative Assistant (Hindi Typing), Store Assistant, A (English Typing), Store Assistant (Hindi Typing), Security Assistant posts, the educational qualification is Class 12. For MTS, & candidates must have passed Class 10 or equivalent from a recognised board or Industrial Training Institute (ITI).

Q:   What is DRDO CEPTAM exam pattern for MTS?

A: 

The exam pattern for MTS post is divided into two Tiers. Tier 1 is for screening, while tier 2 is for final selection. Both tier 1 and 2 exams are conducted in Computer Based Mode. Tier 1 comprises questions from General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, General Awareness and Quantitative Aptitude & Numerical Ability. Tier 2 consists of questions from General Science, General Math and General English.

What is CEPTAM?

DRDO CEPTAM is conducted by the Centre for Personnel Talent Management (CEPTAM) of Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO). CEPTAM conducts the exam for recruitment of Technical, Administrative & Allied category non-gazetted personnel. CEPTAM is a corporate body of DRDO established as Personnel Assessment Centre (PEACE) to cater to DRTC Cadre (Technical Staff) of DRDO. Tier 1 is for CBT (Provisional Selection) and it is divided into two sections. After 5 years you will be entitled to attend an internal interview for TO-A (Group B Gazetted Officer). DRDO CEPTAM Notification 2024

DRDO CEPTAM notification 2024 for various posts is released online. The selection process of A&A post comprises Tier 1 (Computer Based Test), Tier 2 (Trade/Skill/Physical Fitness and Capability Test) and Tier 3 (Descriptive in Nature). Earlier, DRDO CEPTAM 10 DRTC notification for Senior Technical Assistant-B (STA-B) and Technician-a (tech-a) posts was released. For the post of STA-B, the selection process will consist of Tier–I (Screening) and Tier-II (Final Selection). For the post of Tech-A for DRDO CEPTAM 10 recruitment, the selection process will consist of Tier–I (CBT) and Tier-II (Trade Test).

Hi, YES. DRDO recruits chemical engineers. But they don't require GATE score. They don't require minimum % in graduation. They want talent, pure talent. If u have completed b tech you will be recruited in the category of CEPTAM 7 and if you are from Diploma chemical it will be in the category of CEPTAM 9 (Center For Personal Talent Management ). In written test there will be two stages 1. Qualifying exam (aptitude, reasoning, general English general Science, general knowledge n basics in Physics and Chemistry You need to get minimum 40% of marks for evaluation of paper and number of people will go for technical exam will be based on no. Of vacancies. 2. Technical exam This is entirely technical based on chemical engineering subjects. 1. Process Calculations and thermodynamics 2. Fluid mechanics and mechanical unit operations 3. DRDO CEPTAM Eligibility Criteria 2024

To be eligible for DRDO CEPTAM, candidates need to fulfil the following eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification and age limit. The eligibility criteria are different for different posts. The post-wise DRDO CEPTAM eligibility criteria are given below:

DRDO CEPTAM 10 DRTC Eligibility Criteria

Senior Technical Assistant-B (sta-b): The age limit for this post is 18 and 28 years. The educational qualification is a bachelor’s degree in Science Or Diploma in Engineering or Technology or Computer Science or Allied Subjects, recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), in the required Discipline.

Technician (Tech-A): The age limit for this post is 18 and 28 years. Candidates must have passed Class 10 from a recognised Board or Institute and have Certificate from a recognised Industrial Training Institute in the required discipline/Certificate of minimum one-year duration from a recognised Institution in the required discipline if the Industrial Training Institutes do not award Certificate in that discipline/National Trade Certificate in the required discipline/Or National Apprenticeship Certificate in the required discipline.

DRDO CEPTAM Eligibility Criteria for A&A post

Age limit: Candidate must be between 18 and 27 Years of age. The age is relaxed for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/ESM/PWD/widows/divorced women/women judicially separated from their husbands who are not remarried).

Candidates must have a three-year Diploma in Automobile Engineering

Candidates must have a BSc degree in Botany from a recognized university

Chemical Engineering

Candidates must have a Three-year Diploma in Chemical Engineering/Technology

Chemistry

Candidates must have a BSc degree in Chemistry/Chemical Science (Candidates having PCM/ZBC/PCB may also apply) 

Civil Engineering

Candidates must have a Three-year Diploma in Civil Engineering

Computer Science

DRDO CEPTAM Exam Centres

The examination authority prescribes DRDO CEPTAM exam centres for Tier 1 and 2 exam. Candidates can choose any three cities from the list of exam centres in order of their preference for Tier 1 exam. Once the candidates exercise the option of exam centres, it is treated as final and cannot be changed. The examination authority reserves the right to add/delete any exam centre and allot candidates to a centre other than the one chosen by them. Candidates are not required to choose DRDO CEPTAM exam centre for Tier 2 (Trade Test). The exam cities for Tier 2 are decided based on the operational requirements.

DRDO CEPTAM Exam Pattern

DRDO CEPTAM pattern is different for different tiers and posts. The pattern highlights the overall structure of the exam such as marking scheme, number of sections, total marks, and duration of the exam. DRDO CEPTAM exam pattern for different posts is given below:

DRDO CEPTAM MTS exam pattern is divided into two tiers: I and II. Both the tiers will be conducted in computer-based mode and comprise objective-type multiple-choice questions. DRDO CEPTAM exam pattern for A&A post is divided into two tiers: I and II. Tier-I is a computer-based test while tier-II is a trade/skill/physical fitness and capability test as per the post.

DRDO CEPTAM exam pattern for Tech A post is divided into tiers. Tier-I exam is conducted in computer-based mode. The question paper is divided into two sections: A and B. Part A of the question paper comprises questions from Quantitative Ability/Aptitude, General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, General Awareness, English Language (basic knowledge), General Science. Section B comprises questions specific to trade/discipline as per the post-code. Trade test is of ITI level in the related trade.

DRDO CEPTAM 10 DRTC Exam Pattern

For the post of STA-B: Tier-I and Tier-II is conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The Score of Tier-I (CBT) is normalised. The Tier-I and Tier-II consists of objective typemultiple choice questions only. Tier-I examination is for screening and Tier-II is for final selection.

For the post of Tech-A:  The score of Tier-I (CBT) is normalised as per requirement. The Tier-I (CBT) consists of objective type-multiple choice questions only.. Tier-I examination is for Provisional selection and Tier-II (Trade Test) is qualifying in nature. Trade test is of ITI level in the related trade, to test the practical skills of the candidates. The test is of about one to two hours duration.

Minimum Qualifying Marks

The minimum qualifying marks for Tier-I is 40 percent for UR/OBC candidate and 35 percent for SC/ST candidates. Candidates will be provisionally shortlisted based on Tier-I examination merit in a ratio of 1:8 (No. of vacancy: No. of shortlisted candidates) provided they secure the minimum qualifying marks in examination. The last candidate securing equal marks in the bracket will also be included. These provisionally shortlisted candidates will be called for Tier-II examination. The provisional selection will be based on the order of merit obtained in Tier-II examination depending upon the post/category/sub-category of the candidate. The minimum qualifying marks for Tier-II is 40 percent for UR/OBC candidate and 35 percent for SC/ST candidates.

A: 

DRDO CEPTAM for Admin and Allied posts consists of Tier 1 and Tier 2 stages. The CBT in Tier 1 will have multiple choice based questions. The medium of CBT exam will be in both Hindi and English languages. Tier 1 exam is provisional in nature. Tier 2 exam will consist of Skill/Physical fitness and Capability Test, for applicable posts. Tier 2 exam is qualifying in nature. Technician ‘A’
