NDA Exam Day Guidelines 2024: UPSC lays down the NDA exam day guidelines for eligible aspirants. NDA/NA exam day guidelines comprise certain do’s and don'ts, which all candidates must adhere to. Read below UPSC NDA exam day guidelines.

NDA Exam Day Guidelines 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct NDA 2 2024 exam on September 1, 2024. UPSC released the NDA exam day guidelines 2024. Candidates appearing for the NDA 2 2024 exam need to follow these exam day guidelines or else their candidature will be cancelled. NDA exam day guidelines range from bringing the required documents and stationery to the dress code. NDA exam day guideline 2024 comprises what to bring, what not to bring, required documents to be brought on NDA exam day, and general tips for the exam. This article lists the NDA exam day guidelines that candidates need to keep in mind while appearing for the exam. NDA Exam Timing 2024

Before we proceed to the exam day guidelines, it is important to go through NDA exam timing to understand the exam duration, reporting time, etc. Check below NDA exam timing.

Shifts Exam Time Reporting Time

Forenoon shift

10.00 am to 12:30 pm

9.50 am

Afternoon shift

2.00 pm to 4:30 pm

1.50 pm

NDA 2024 Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates can check below the exam day guidelines for NDA exam.

NDA Exam Day Guidelines for Admit Card

  • Candidates are advised to download their NDA admit cards and take a printout of the same. Candidates will have to show the printout of their admit cards at the allotted NDA exam centre along with the photo identity card
  • In case the photograph is not visible or not available on the admit card, candidates are advised to carry two identical photographs
  • No hard copy of the admit card has been issued by the examination authority. In case of any discrepancy, candidates should immediately email the examination authority 

UPSC NDA Exam Day Guidelines for Reporting Time

  • As mentioned earlier, NDA exam will be conducted in two shifts. It may be noted that entry into the exam hall will be closed 10 minutes before the scheduled commencement of the exam, i.e 9.50 am for the forenoon session and 1.50 pm for the afternoon session
  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination venue after the gate closes

NDA Exam Day Guidelines for Exam Centre

  • The details regarding NDA exam centres are mentioned on the admit card. Candidates are required for the exam at the centre allotted to them
  • Candidates are advised to visit their exam centres at least one day in advance to avoid the last-minute hassle
  • Candidates should reach the exam centre well in advance for verification of admit card, frisking, etc
  • Candidates should note that they will not be allowed to appear at any other exam centre except the one mentioned on the admit card. If candidates appear at any other venue due to any reason, their candidature will be cancelled

UPSC 2 NDA Exam Day Guidelines 2024: Things Not Allowed

  • Candidates are not allowed to use mobile phones, pagers or any other electronic equipment or programmable device or storage media such as pen drive, smartwatches, camera, bluetooth devices. Candidates found carrying these items will not be allowed to appear in the exam and disciplinary action will be taken against them including a ban from future examinations
  • Use of wristwatches is not allowed inside the examination hall

NDA Exam Day Guidelines: Covid-19 Guidelines

  • Wearing a mask is mandatory for all candidates. Without the mask, candidates will not be allowed to entry the exam centre
  • Candidates will have to remove their masks for verification whenever asked by the examination authorities
  • Candidates need to carry their own hand sanitiser in a transparent bottle
  • Candidates are required to follow COVID-19 norms of social distancing inside the exam centre

NDA Exam Day Guidelines 2024: Things allowed Inside the Exam Hall

  • Candidates are advised to bring a black ballpoint pen to fill the attendance list and OMR sheet
  • Answers other than those marked by black ballpoint pen will not be evaluated
