NDA Shift Timing 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is conducting NDA 2 2024 exam on September 1, 2024, to fill up a total of 404 vacancies. NDA 2 2024 exam is being conducted in two shifts-forenoon and afternoon. According to NDA shift timings, the exam for forenoon shift was conducted from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm. NDA Shift Timing 2024: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is conducting NDA 2 2024 exam on September 1, 2024. NDA exam is conducted in two shifts-forenoon and afternoon. NDA shift timing for the forenoon shift was10.00 am to 12.30 pm. NDA exam timing for the afternoon shift is 2.00 pm to 4.30 pm. Candidates must reach the exam centre as per the NDA reporting time mentioned on the admit card. According to NDA exam timing, the entry into the exam centre closes 10 minutes before the scheduled commencement of the exam. The entry for the forenoon shift closed at 9.50 am whereas it will close at 1.50 pm for the afternoon session. Candidates are not allowed to enter the exam venue after the closure of the entry.

NDA exam is conducted twice a year by Union Public Service Commission for admission to Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA and Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). The exam is conducted in two stages: written exam and SSB Interview.

NDA Exam Pattern 2024

NDA exam pattern is such that it is divided into the written exam and SSB interview. The exam paper of NDA written exam is divided into two parts, GAT and Mathematics. The GAT paper carries a total of 150 questions while the Maths paper carries a total of 120 questions. Each paper of the exam is held for 2 ½ hours. The GAT section carries 600 marks while the Mathematics section carries 300 marks. The GAT section is divided into two parts. Part A comprises English while Part B consists of General Knowledge. The SSB interview carries 900 marks.

NDA Exam Timing 2024: Exam Day Guidelines

NDA exam day guidelines are given below:

  • Candidates can check NDA admit card carefully and bring discrepancies, if any, to the notice of UPSC immediately
  • Mention name, roll number, registration ID and name & year of the examination in all the correspondence with UPSC
  • Bring the printout of NDA admit card along with the original photo identity card
  • Candidates must preserve their admit cards till the declaration of the final result
  • Candidates are advised to visit NDA exam centre in advance to familarise themselves with the location to avoid the last minute hassle in their own interest
  • They should reach the exam centre well in advance for frisking
  • Candidates should read the instructions carefully before the exam
  • Candidate should not bring or use any mobile phone (even in switched off mode), pager or any electronic equipment or programmable device or storage media like pen drive, smart watches, etc., or camera or Bluetooth devices or any other equipment or related accessories either in working or switched off mode capable of being used as a communication device during the examination
  • Use of normal or simple wrist watch by candidates is allowed inside the examination hall. However, use of watches fitted with any special accessory that might be used as communication device or smartwatch is strictly prohibited and candidates are not allowed to take such watches into the Examination Rooms/Halls
  • There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked by a candidate
  • Answers other than those made by black ballpoint pen will not be evaluated
  • Candidates are advised not to bring any valuables/costly items to the exam hall
  • Candidates who do not have clear photographs on the e-admit card will have to bring a photo identity proof and two passport size photographs one for each session for appearing at the examination with an undertaking
  • Wearing of mask/face cover is mandatory for all candidates. Candidates without mask/face cover will not be allowed entry into the venue
  • Candidates, however, will have to remove their masks for verification, whenever required by the exam centre officials
  • Candidates may carry his/her own hand sanitizer (small size) in a transparent bottle
  • Candidates need to follow COVID-19 norms of social distancing as well as personal hygiene inside the examination hall as well as in the premises of the venue
