Be it from Humanities to Science to Commerce to Education, one needs to have the right study material, prep books and guide books of the course. There is plenty of competition in India and thousands of students apply for admission and very few get to ace the exam.

Along with the syllabus of the course, candidates need to buy as many prep books, study material and guides in order to ace the entrance exam. There is no success without hard work and one needs to put in the hours in order to come out with flying colours.

How to Select the Best Books for CUCET

There are a few pointers which one can follow before purchasing CUCET prep books and study material.

  • Check the year of publication. You will require new books as the syllabus, exam pattern and marking schemes keep on changing from time to time.
  • Purchase prep books with the latest edition as the content will cover the syllabus.
  • Purchase prep books and guides by renowned authors and publishers. Before purchasing a prep book, read through some of the content if you can. It will help you better to understand the guide.
  • Get prep books and study material from coaching centres as well as they prescribe the right books which cover the syllabus of the entrance exam.
  • Purchase prep books and guides which have the previous years’ question papers and also have sample papers which you can solve.
  • Compare books before purchasing them. Through this you can understand which books cover the syllabus, which book has the latest content and is according to the study material.
  • Purchase the prep books only if required. For undergraduate courses, most of the questions asked will be from the books learnt in class 11 and class 12. Even for Postgraduate courses, go through what you have studied in your graduation unless its an entirely different course you have opted for.
