GGSIPU Admissions 2023: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has released the academic brochure for the academic session 2023-24. The University also announced that it will be launching two four-year undergraduate programmes, including BA in English and BA in Liberal Arts with Major History, Sociology and Political science.

The BA English programme will be offered by the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. The BA in Liberal Arts will be run by the school of liberal arts. Professor Mahesh Verma, the vice-chancellor of the university, said, "Apart from these programmes, the university is going to introduce MSc bioinformatics, PG diploma in cyber security, cyber disaster and blockchain technology and two different programmes of MD homoeopathy and ayurveda, among other courses, in the new academic year," as reported by TOI.

The officials further stated that the online portal to apply to the various undergraduate and post-graduate programmes will remain active until April 30.

It must be noted that earlier the varsity announced that admission to its 17 undergraduate courses and 13 postgraduate programmes will be done on the basis of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). However, during the brochure launch, it was clarified that the CUET scores will be given second preference.

"The university will be conducting its own entrance tests and these scores will be considered for admissions. For these programmes CUET scores will be given second preference. This will be considered in a scenario in which there are vacant seats available at a later stage in the admission cycle," an official explained.
