APEdCET Important Dates 2025: The exam conducting body Andhra Pradesh Vishakhapatnam will release the APEdCET 2025 exam dates tentatively in April 2025. The exam dates of APEdCET 2025 will be mentioned in the notification and be released on its official website - edcet-sche.aptonline.in/EdCET2024/Views/index.aspx. Candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria will be able to fill in the application form of APEdCET 2025 till the last date of the registration process. The APEdCET exam 2025 will tentatively be held in May 2025. Candidates can check here all the important dates related to the APEdCET 2025 exam.

Q:   When will APEdCET counselling start?

A:

There is no official dates as to when the APEdCET counselling 2025 will be held. The APEdCET notification for the 2025 session is expected to be released in April 2025. Once the exam is conducted the results are declared, the exam body will release the counselling schedule in online mode onnits official website. As and when the schedule is released, we will share the dates here at shiksha.com. Students are advised to keep a track of the official website as well as this page fo the detailed schedule.

APEdCET Admission Process 2024

The APEdCET exam is conducted annually to shortlist candidates for BEd courses offered by participating universities. Candidates planning to take the APEdCET exam must follow the steps mentioned below:

  • APEdCET application form: Candidates need to fill APEdCET 2025 application form on the official website of the entrance test. With the application form, aspirants do not need to upload any certificates/ documents. Candidates can pay the APEDCET 2025 application fee of INR 600 through AP Online/ debit card/ credit card/ net banking.
  • APEdCET hall ticket: Aspirants can download APEdCET 2025 admit card from the official website of the exam. The admit card for APEdCET contains the aspirant’s name, roll number and test centre details.
  • APEdCET exam: APEdCET exam is divided into three parts – Part A, Part B and Part C. The first two sections, that is, Part A and Part B contain common questions for all aspirants. Part C contains questions depending on the course/ subject selected by candidates. APEdCET exam is of two hours duration. The APEdCET 2025 exam duration was 2 hours. The APEdCET question paper had 150 questions in MCQ based format of 1 mark each. The questions were asked from sections such as General English, General Knowledge and Teaching Aptitude, Mathematics, Physical Sciences/Biological Sciences/Social Studies and English. There was no negative marking in the APEdCET exam.
  • APEdCET result: Aspirants need to view APEdCET 2025 result on the official website of the exam. To check APEdCET result aspirants need to type their hall ticket and registration number on the official exam website. Once the result for APEdCET 2025 is declared, candidates can download their rank card from the official website. APEdCET rank is valid for one year.

Q:   Can the APEdCET exam date be postponed or rescheduled?

A:

There are very few chances of the APEdCET exam being postpooned or rescheduled. The APEdCET exam date for the 2024 session is determined by the exam conducting authorities - Andhra University, Vishakhapatnam and is usually not subject to change unless there are exceptional circumstances such as natural disasters or unforeseen events. Candidates should regularly check the official website - cets.apsche.ap.gov.in for any updates regarding the exam schedule. As per the official notice, the APEdCET exam will be conducted on June 8, 2024.

No, no such provision exists for re-evaluating the Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test (APEdCET) results. The results declared by the exam conducting authorities - Andhra University, Vishakhapatnam are considered final, and there is no mechanism for reevaluation or rechecking. However, there is a provision to raise objections against the answer key of the APEdCET 2024. If candidates fina any issues in the preliminary answer key if they think this specific question is wrong, they can raise their objections against it. Post addressing the objections, the exam body will release the final answer key.
