Our college offered good placements in the year 2015.

Placements: Almost 60% of the students get placed in our course. The salary packages offered differ from one company to another. The salary offered to a fresher is Rs. 30,000 per month. Top recruiting company of our college was Maersk. Around 60% of students got internships from our course in Maersk and Chevron, etc. Top role offered was as a chief engineer in ship.

It is a good college with the best faculty members.

Placements: The placement percentage of the college was pretty well, but due to the recession in the industry, placements were reduced. The average salary package offered was different from every company. Top recruiting companies for this course were Maersk, Chevron, Goodwood, Sea Team. The role which was offered in this course was to handle all the machinery present on board ship.

It is a good academy for students who want to study marine.

Placements: Around 40% of students got placed in our nautical science course. The salary offered ranges from Rs. 27,000 per month to 1 lac for a deck cadet when joining an onboard ship. Maersk, Fleet, Sea team, Chevron, NYK and Goodwood are the companies which visit our campus for recruitment. Captain of the ship, Navy officers and offshore jobs are the roles offered. In our course, the highest salary offered was 3 lac per month, and the lowest salary offered was 1 lac per month. Around 30% of the students ...

Fees are very high in this college.

Placements: Placements are somewhat better here. You will surely get a job, but the salary package offered will not enough because you will get almost a salary package of 12 lacs for four years. So relationships which you are going to create in the college is the main source to get good salary packages.

I am satisfied with this college.

Placements: Overall, placements in our college are good. Students are getting placed according to their CGPA. Students should not have any backlogs in any subjects from the starting of their 1st semester. If students get good rank and more marks, then they will get better placements from college.

It is a great college because of good placements, good teaching staff and good facilities.

Placements: Almost 80-90% of students in our course got placed. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Companies outside India and national companies visit our campus for placements. The highest salary package offered is 14 LPA. Some faculty members in our college are great, and they are very active in students future placement. The college has some cooperation from different multinational companies which visit our college every year to recruit students.

Good infrastructure but working hard is very important if marine is your dream.

Placements: Placements are good. They start recruiting you from your first academic. Many are placed with a medium salary starting from 15k per month. College doesn't provide internship and it's not compulsory either. The students are made to attend campus placement.

It is a good college to purse MBA in Shipping.

Placements: Placements for our batch and our senior batch were good. The placement cell was effective and placed the whole MBA batch except a few students with irregularities. Around 8 companies visited the college during the final year. We were asked to get internships on our own. The salaries depend on the academic background and interpersonal skills of students.

Placements were good in 2018. It is absolutely a good university.

Placements: The college has a placement cell which is useful in every aspect for students. Top companies like Maersk Line, Shell, Chevron, APL, Stens, Northen Marine, Goodwood Ship Management, etc., visited and recruited the students of AMET.

I'm not happy with the university's infrastructure, teaching methods and other activities.

Placements: When it comes to placements, the cadets are placed in the first year itself. Companies like Maersk Goodwood, Chevron and Shell come for the placements. Out of 200, nearly 80 to 90 cadets are placed in the final year. Mostly, everyone gets a chance to sit in the interview. Overall, the placements are really good.

AMET University is deemed to be university affiliated by a directed general of shipping.

Placements: When compared to other colleges, our placement was good. In my batch, 180 students out of which 80 students got placed, and still we have one more year left. The world largest companies like Maersk, PIL, Chevron, Good Wood, Seateam, shell, etc., visit the campus and hire the students.

Words from my heart for my college.

Placements: 80% placement. But it depends on the individual how he takes it because college will give you chance to sit for camps interview. They allow you to sit according to the CGPA of the student and the student gets 3 chances to sit for interview this is done so that everyone gets chance of sitting for interview since there are 250 cadets in a batch.

I am dissatisfied with this college because of bad placements and fake promises.

Placements: The placements for my batch was less than 50%, i.e., only 55 got selected out of 120. The condition of placement is becoming worst in my college. Only a few companies like Maersk, Chevron, and a few more visit our college. The placement cell is good, but it is of no use. Only 3-4 companies would come to our college.

Good for who want to pursue their career in Marchant navy.

Placements: Placement is good but you can't say great. Many famous companies like Maersk, Nyk, Goodwood, Chevron, Seateam and few more. I can say if you are good in studies then you will definitely get the placement from this college. They only can give you the opportunity after that you are own your own.

AMET University is the best maritime university in India.

Placements: The college provides good placements mainly from good companies like Maersk and DA-Desk. Many of my friends in seniors got placed in many places over India. AMET is the only university in maritime education giving good placements to students. They give good worth to the students to get qualified in all the fields that each and everyone joined.

The infrastructure is good and many labs are there.

Placements: In our college, the placements are good, earlier it was too good, but now, it was decreased. Comparing to other marine colleges, this is good for placements. So, last year, many foreign companies were taking the students. 70 students out of 200 got placed, and sometimes it will be more.

Placements: Earlier, the placements were good, but now day by day it is decreasing, among other marine colleges, this college is good for placements. Out of 200 students per batch 90 will be selected, and in some batches, 100 students also get selected.

I have no regrets for choosing this college for my course.

Placements: The placements are very good. A lot of high-end companies like Maersk Line Andhra Pradesh, Moller, Goodwood come on a regular basis and recruit hand-full cadets. The placement cell of the college helps students to get placed in good companies without any extra fees or charges.

Make your dream real after you join AMET.

Placements: The placements are good on the campus. Nearly, 25 MNC companies visit every year, and almost 95% of the students get placed in all over the world. Many companies are looking for students in AMET. Mostly, the students are selected for the sales department because of their communication skills. Nearly, 90% of the students get an internship from college.
