It gives a good experience related to marine lifestyle and schedule.

Placements: There are good placements with all international companies visiting the college with high packages and promotions. The college provides international placements to all departments and alumni are on usual visits. The companies like Goodwood, Maersk Line, Shell, Chevron and many more are on regular placement visits.

The best college to study in marine related courses in India. Very good faculty members.

Placements: About 45% of the students got placed at different companies like Maersk, Shell, Hapag Lloyd, etc. There are also a lot of companies which are coming forward and giving students a lot of opportunities. The salary offered to them was from 15,000. The students were placed in various sectors also.

Naval architecture at Academy of Maritime Education and Training.

Placements: The placements were average. The core companies visiting the college are very less. The CTC was around 2-4 lacs per annum was offered. Alumni network is poor. The department was started only in 2007. Hence, a number of alumni are few. Senior batches had placements from Sembawang Shipyard and Keppel. The placement cell of the department is not very active. The industry institution relations are for namesake.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty members, placement services, and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are good. Almost 70% of the students were placed in well-reputed shipping companies. During 2013 and even after that, Maersk was taking care of the cadets' placements. It was a good experience after studying in AMET as they also prepare you for such interviews and placements.

College Review. Good infrasture. Good placements.

Placements: Placement for our batch is little poor but for our senior batch it is good. The salary of our students were placed is the lowest 15k. Percentage o f student got internship from college is 50%. In our college placements training are given to students.

Absolutely satisfied with the facilities available on the campus.

Placements: Placements in this university were too good than other maritime universities in Tamilnadu. In our senior batch, about 7 to 8 companies visit and take about 70% deck candidates. In our batch, about three companies came until now like Maersk, Goodwood, Seateam and had taken about 40% of deck candidates. Placement was too good in this university.

If your interested in the marine engineering., join this college.

Placements: The placements offered in this college are not bad. Out of 200, at least 100 got placed every year. Top companies like Shell Maersk come for the placements every year. They allow attending the interview based on the semester exam ranking, so you need to be in top 10-20 all the time to attend the interviews.

Absolutely not satisfied because of infrastructure, hostel facilities, placements in 2017.

Placements: The placement is okay kind of thing, but the placement percentage is only around 35%, and they are increasing the number of seats for this course, so in the future, it's very difficult to get placed. Now itself, it's 250 members per batch. From this year, that is 2017 batch, who are going to get passed out in 21, they are trying to increase it to 500.

The faculty are very good with a favorable environment where one can learn many things.

Placements: Our seniors get well placed in the reputed companies. Recently 60% of our seniors got placed abroad and in India too. The highest salary offer depends on the student's academic background and interview performance, and it varies between $ 85,000 to $ 153,500. The companies like Goa Shipyard and much more visited this campus.

Overall, good except for the placement.

Placements: There are no placements. The marine field is going to worse. If you have influence, you can join this field or else, you will be jobless. The college is good and supportive staff. Please join with your own risk, don't join with educational loans if you don't have support for joining ships. Nobody is going to help you. Beware of agents before joining the ship.

The college is good, but all it needs is quality education.

Placements: Talking about the placement, this college has two parts. One is DG which have up to 90% placement, and another is none DG ( ocean, petroleum, electric, mechanical, etc.) in which generally top 10 students able to get placed. Talking about the business school, the placement record is better than others maritime colleges.

It is a good college to study.

Placements: It is a very good college and basically the best Marine college in South India. So, anyone going to a sea-oriented course surely gets 100 percent placement. Also, if a student completes the course with decent marks, there is a good chance of getting jobs. Compared to other universities, it also has IELTS training to increase the English fluently and jobs offers.

AMET B-school, the best of logistics.

Placements: The placements are very good from the campus. The top shipping and logistics companies are visiting the campus with the best packages and profiles. The companies are hiring for the leading roles. The companies that visited the campus are Maersk, Allcargo Logistics, CMA CGM, Kuehne Nagel, NYK Line.

BE marine in Amet University.

Placements: In our batch, only a few got placed, and few are exceptional students. If you are an average student, you must have a reference otherwise it is very difficult even to attend the interview and to get a job. We have to pay 4 to 4.5 lakhs to an agent to get a job. So, think before you join in this course.

Very expensive education. Although, a few departments are good but not in my case.

Placements: In this year's pass-out batch, out of 150 students, only 20-25 got placed that too in logistics companies and 1 or 2 core companies offered a salary in the range of 20-35k. Almost everyone has done their internship although no stipend was given. Only a few departments are doing well in terms of placement.

Visit the campus personally. And observe the things. Don't take immediate actions.

Placements: For the students of BSC deck cadets course, the placement record is good. It was 100% for the last two years. For the marine engineers, 55% students got placement in shipping companies. For naval architecture, below 10% placements are recorded. You must be a topper and only then will you get the placements similar to other course students. MBA students got 30% placements, and BBM got 60%. For GME and ETO don't consider placements at all. If the shipping companies have the vacancy, they will come...

Now the faculty is not good, and also the course fee is raised.

Placements: 50 percent placement when I studied, depends on the Maersk recruitment. They will take as many cadets as they want. Before I joined it was bad. Because the shipping market was under crises. Now it is good, may change later, but I am sure that top 50 in every batch will be placed out if 200.

Very much satisfied due to placements etc.

Placements: We are the first batch of mechanical engineering in our university and based on our GPA and placement skills, many companies are offering placements. We are mainly skilled in the marine sector and the marine students were placed in Maersk, the world's biggest shipping company.

The infrastructure is average. We have facilities for all labs and the placements are good in which most of the companies are internationally based. Food is good and offer lot of facilities. We have a mixed group of experienced and new faculty. We have wifi facility in hostel and college too. We have 3 gyms, swimming pool and back water boating.

It is a good college in terms of education, training, etc. The college has less entertainment activities as compared to other universities. Cultural activities are very low and hence, there are more educational activities. Maritime training is good as compared to other universities.
