Q:   I want to know about the latest cutoff information for B.Sc. In Agriculture at Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU)?

A: 
15% of seats at Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University are filled through ICAR AIEEA under All India Quota (AIQ), and 85% of seats are filled through the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET exam. Although the cut-off for either Andhra Pradesh EAMCET or ICAR is not known for the years 2023 or 2022, but the list of cutoffs for the previous years may give you a rough description as to the selection in that institute. We will first start with ICAR For 2021, the closing rank for your category was 1400-1500. For 2020, the closing rank for your category went upto 1798, 8648 for SC category and 13611 for ST category. Now, for Andhra Pradesh EAMCET, for 2021, 3500-3600 was closing rank for SC category, 1852-2153 was closing rank for your category and 5381-6000 was closing rank for ST category. Hope this helps.     Overall, our college is very good for studies with practical classes.
    Placements: Our seniors have got very good placements. For them, the salaries are between Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 60,000. and most of the students will get placements based on the interview, grade point average and percentage. Some of our seniors got PG seats, and they are going through it.
    Infrastructure: We have number 1 facilities in our college. We have almost 160 acres farming land, and we have all required labs with fulfilled equipment and we have countless microscopes. Our college gives equal importance to sports also. Our college will celebrate college days and inter college day celebrations.
    Faculty: Our college has very qualified and knowledgeable faculty. We are feeling proud that we got such teachers and they do not get irritated. They work with us also. They check that whether students can understand or not. Sometimes they use projectors and many of times use chalk and board.
    Other: Our college will perform many events like functions for college day, inter-college day and also for freshers party.

    Highly satisfied with the college, faculty, and all others.
    Placements: Out of 130 members, 50 students got placed from our batch. It was similar for our senior batch too. The highest salary offered was 45k, the average salary offered was from 30 to 35k, and the lowest salary was from 20 to 25k. Companies like Dhanuka, Nagarjuna, Coromandel companies came to the college and the posts offered were a developer, and an assistant managers Andhra.
    Infrastructure: Ours is the second oldest college in India. The labs, classrooms, medical and sports facilities were very good. The hostel rooms, food, and Wi-Fi facilities are also very good. The quality of labs in our college is excellent. Overall, the college provides good infrastructural facilities.
    Faculty: In our college, the faculty are senior most and most qualified than other colleges. The course curriculum was very comfortable and useful. Teaching quality was very excellent, and teaching methods used were extremely good. We get industry exposure at the time of internship.
    Other: Our campus is around 97acers. It is very clean and most comfortable. The scholarships are provided to the students. The extracurricular activities were very nice.

    Review of my college Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural university.
    Placements: We get placements in the private companies like SEED companies and fertilizer companies and pesticide companies. On the other hand government jobs like AO, AEO, and JD, etc. They offer a minimum salary of Rs. 30000 with all government facilities, which are essential.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, and Wi-FI facility is also available. We have good classrooms with digital teaching facility. The faculty in our college have good practical experience. There are separate labs for each department. Plenty of sports and games are available for the student's relaxation. The food provided in our college is good.
    Faculty: The teachers are well expertise in their subject and will clarify student doubts at any time, and they give us good practical knowledge. Each subject has more faculty to teach, and expertise learning and they conduct daily tests and give the marks. Our faculty guides students towards the better future.
    Other: College day functions, cultural programs and fests are conducted. Extracurricular activities like sports, we have both indoor and outdoor games. Intercollege competitions were conducted in our college.

    Satisfied with the college as it has good placements, faculty, and infrastructure.
    Placements: There are placements at different seed companies, which are more for agriculture background students. Most of the students appear for placements from other affiliated colleges also get placed. The placements will be taken according to GPA, and they also look for agriculture background students as they have knowledge of seeds, etc. The banks also offer jobs in private sector.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good in case of a college with good seminar halls in each department. There are powerpoint presentations, comfortable chairs with writing pad, separate parking area for students, separate examination centre are provided. Every year, celebration or college day and inter-college sports meet will be held.
    Faculty: Almost all are experienced lecturers even sometimes scientist worked in research station also taught us. They show us practicals mostly in fields so that we gain more knowledge. The field work will also start from basic knowledge. As the year progresses, we will have more field work.
    Other: The scholarship is provided for the students on the campus. Every year, the college day, farewell, and freshers are organised for the students.

    Is really related to nature like what people is learning there.
    Placements: Placements are there but most of the students will go for higher studies, those who wish to get placed will get placed. 6 months rural agriculture work experience programme. The 6 months we are going for the Raave programme which is what the biggest exposure an agri student can get.
    Infrastructure: Facilities are really good. Labs and classroom all facilities are there, e class room, which will give you a very good visual treat The food is also very good, you will get good tasty food that you don't feel homesick. Hostel room will be with 2 member room with all the facilities. No.
    Faculty: Well experienced faculty members which gives very good lecture and practical exposure with academics. Quality is very good. 40:70 ratio industry exposure, good companies are coming with good package, those who are interested can get placed the rest can go for higher studies. Course curriculum was very useful.
    Other: Good sports facilities, cultural activities, sports meet, interuniversity meet, conducting agri carnivals, seminars, guest lecture etc.
