My experience in university is good but dissatisfied with the campus

Placements: Placement is not taken important in our university. There is placement staff who invites the recruiter for interview so one who are interested go for the interview. Since I didn't go for interview I don't know the highest or lowest package offered in our course.

My experience in Assam Don Bosco University.

Placements: I am currently in my first year so there is not yet much experience in the placements section; however, the seniors informed us that not all will get placements and around 70% get them. Internships are part of the course and are thus undertaken by every student before passing out of the university. Top companies also send recruiters to the college to recruit talented and skilled students. I will update this review when I experience it firsthand.

Faculty members were amicable in nature.

Placements: From the final semester, placements typically involve students with companies such as Infosys, Omega, D-ART, etc. The highest package offered was 10 lakh, and the average package stood at 3 lakh. However, a significant number of students did not secure placements as many opted to pursue research in my department.

Faculty members were very friendly in nature.

Placements: A lot of companies like Amazon, Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase & Co., Adobe, Airbnb, Axis Bank, Barclays, Celebel, Cisco, etc. visit the institute and provide job opportunities for various roles and positions. The average package ranges from 9-11 Lacs per annum, and the highest recorded for students in my course is around 19 Lacs per annum. The whole placement scenario for the MCA department revolves around the factor of competition with B.Tech/BE students and students' skillsets and potential. Arou...

The university is located at a place away from the city, but it is a good place to study and grow. The connectivity is also good, the airport and the bus stand are also nearby. Moreover, the infrastructure is also great and the faculty is also good. The university provides good facilities to the students. There is also an auditorium, a parking lot and the college is surrounded by greenery. The hostel facilities are also good. I would recommend this college to everyone.
