Average college with decent infrastructure but lacking in placements.
Placements: Around 93% of students got placed in the CSE department. Majority companies are mass recruiters like Accenture, Cognizant, etc. Over 250 students are selected in TCS. The highest salary package offered is 56 LPA by Atlassian, ServiceNow offered 48 LPA, and Microsoft offered 44 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA by TCS. Top roles offered are associate software developed and graduate engineer trainee.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is nice. Air-conditioned classrooms and labs are there. Hostel has facilities like air-conditioned rooms, solo and duo sharing rooms, etc. Food in the mess is average. But canteen is well-equipped and affordable. Wi-Fi is available on campus. Medical room is there along with sports ground, many cultural clubs, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive, though syllabus is vast. Teachers help in providing good quality notes, previous year papers, and regular exams. Lab practicals are also conducted to test students. Semester exams are not difficult per semester but due to lengthy question papers and difficult checking, scoring decent CGPA gets tough.

Placements: Placement percentage is about 60-70% for each batch as per last year results. I am pursuing MCA currently. The highest salary package offered is 42 LPA by Capgemini. The average salary package offered ranges from around 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Samsung, Accenture, Infosys, and many more tech companies. There are lots of internship opportunities at this college such as Samsung internship, PM internship, and many more outside of campus where we can apply for internships.
Infrastructure: The campus is equipped with modern smart classrooms, labs, libraries, and Wi-Fi services. Atmosphere is very vibrant and peaceful. Hostels are available as single occupancy at Rs 1,33,000/- (non-air-conditioned) and double occupancy at Rs 1,55,000/- (air-conditioned) including facilities like gym, indoor gaming court, cafeteria, and mess. Canteen and smart bazaar stores are available on campus.
Faculty: On average, most of the faculty members are good at academic teaching. They are helpful in the discussion. Majority of them are PhD holder and experienced. MCA course curriculum at Galgotias University is well structured, blending theoretical concepts with practical applications. It covers essential subjects like data structure, database management, computer programming, and digital computer organisation. All the subjects are relevant and help us in future respective fields. Apart from that English aptitude classes are also taken in which group discussions, personal interviews, and presentations take place.
Other: I have chosen Galgotias University because of its excellent placement records, industry connections, and academics. The strongest point in academics is lab practical and project achievements which help to maintain our resume. There are lots of cultural events and fests, two of them are major, one is sports fest in October, and another one freshers fest in January. Scholarships are provided based on the graduation grades, and entrance exams such as CUET-PG and IIT JEE offer utp 10-20% of scholarships.

Dissatisfied with the placements, faculty, and the infrastructure.
Placements: The college does not offer good placements. The average placement package offered is less than 2 Lacs per annum and the companies are not reliable for long term jobs. The placements department is also not very active, therefore, this college’s placements are not reliable for a good career.
Infrastructure: Hostel and college’s infrastructure is neither too bad nor too good. It's only average with most of the windows being broken, fans are slow in the classrooms and the classrooms don’t have AC availability. Wi-Fi is also very bad in both the hostel and the college.
Faculty: Faculty is not very good, they are only average. The exams are commenced on a daily basis here, they take exams every week. They don’t give time to build relations and preparations, they just take exams all the time. At times they conduct 25 surprise tests, 25 unit tests, 10 mid semester exams, 5 put and then the semester exams (subject wise).

Placements: I am recently in 2nd year but after 7 semesters, we are eligible for campus placements and internships. Placements at this college are above average. Many students are placed but high-profile companies are less in number. The average salary package offered ranges from 4 LPA - 6 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 1.12 crore in 2022.
Infrastructure: Libraries are top notch with a high amount of sitting capacity and fully furnished with air-conditioner. We can issue any books from the library. The timing for library is during college hours from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. During exam time, the library time is till midnight. The mess food is not good enough but not that bad also. We can say it's above average.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and highly qualified. All are Ph.D and some of them are M. Tech holders. They are available at any time to clarify our doubts. The curriculum is old fashioned which is running 15-20 ago. There are only few changes made, but majority of this course is old fashioned. AKTU exam is above average level but the checking of sheet is very tough. We will get marks after too much difficulty.
Other: I chose this course because it's the latest trend. There is a high scope for this in the future. My relative also done this course earlier and they are doing fine. The course and syllabus should be better according to the latest, and they should teach us questions that are generally asked in interviews. In our college, there are not too many fests except freshers and Diwali fair.

Really good faculty and well-mannered students.
Placements: The recruiting companies that have visited our college in the past few years are quite famous like Accenture, Pacific, IBM, Future First, Axxela, Nigaro, etc. The average package we get here is around 6 Lacs per annum, and it's a great amount for a fresher.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is okay, and the food in the canteen is good. The college provides us with great facilities like free Wi-Fi network, good canteen food, fests, and DJ nights. The premises are well-maintained, and the classrooms and the students are well-mannered.
Faculty: The faculty here is very nice, friendly, and helpful. They always answer our doubts and keep us engaged while teaching. The semester exams are not that difficult if you study hard while listening to the faculty, and the pass percent is around 80 percent.
