Allahabad University Oxford of the East.

Placements: Allahabad University, Oxford of the east has a lot of students from different zones of India studying higher education. The average salary package offered is about 15 LPA - 20 LPA or above. Top recruiting companies are Tata Steel, Jio Digital, etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure in our department are very good. Our labs are useful. In the library, there is a central library. We find all types of books in different areas or courses. Facilities in our hostel are very good. The food available in the mess is very good. Sports and games are played every day as Khelo India by Indian Government.

Faculty: Our teachers are from well-qualified institutes like IIT, IISC, and central universities. They are very polite and helpful. As we know the competition is reserved day by day, and the difficulty of semester exams also rises in universities.

I'm satisfied with the faculty, greenery and infrastructure of our campus.

Placements: I don't think that any student got placed in my department or even the university. No companies show interest in hiring from our university. But yes, many students got the opportunity to do internship in various institutions like DRDO, ISRO, etc. In my course M.Sc. Materials Science 4 subjects per semester and 2 lab in starting 2 semester and the last 2 semester there is project which we have to complete half and half per semester.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good, to be honest, especially in the arts department and our science faculty. Wi-Fi, good classrooms and, of course, a library are also available. One cricket, football, and hockey ground each and badminton, tennis, and basketball courts. There are many hostels available, and the procedure for allotment is that you should have marks as per hostel cut offs and all the facilities are available, like Wi-Fi, electricity, canteens, medical facilities, and sports.

Faculty: In my department, all the facilities are for IIT Ph.D. holders and semester-based examinations with three tests per semester. It is not too difficult to score good marks in exams but my case is different because I suffered from tuberculosis and had to do more hard work to cover the syllabus and pass the semester examination.
