Review of Amity University, Kolkata.
Placements: Our college has tie-ups with quite good and recognised companies for placements, and the placements depend on the academic merit of the students. Companies conduct various screening rounds for the final selection. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the entire placement process has been postponed now.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are available here, but their utility and consumption depend and vary from student to student. Everything is provided in a quite student-friendly as well as disciplined way. Our college aims at providing the requirements.
Faculty: In the law, faculty members have been quite helpful and supportive in every possible way. The course curriculum is quite helpful to make students lawyers and as professionals. It has many opportunities for students who are capable enough.
Other: Every professional has to know the law of their respective field of work, and I just wanted to know it in-depth and have chosen it as my profession. Our campus is spread over 10 acres, which comprises of all the probable facilities which students will need to spend a relaxed and disciplined life. Our college also organises annual fests around the middle of February or March. Our college invites students from more than 300 colleges across the city, and a 3-day fest is celebrated with pomp and pleasure along with celebrity performances. The college also provides scholarships to up to 100% of the students. I have joined in this college with a 100% scholarship and have renewal it until now.

It is one of the best private colleges.
Placements: Until now, the law department didn't have any placements because the course started four years back so the first placements will be conducted in 2020. However, people from LL.M. get placed in Khaitan and Khaitan. You get placement according to your CGPA scores. Reputed firms from across the country visit the campus for placements.
Infrastructure: The college provides an amazing infrastructure with cleanliness everywhere. It is a good place. The library is huge with comfortable sofas and cubicles. Almost all the books are available here. We have three canteens but the only one canteen serves egg and others are purely vegetarian.
Faculty: There is a huge variety of faculty members. Some are helpful whereas some aren't. Some faculty members are very understanding and are lenient, whereas some are completely opposite. All are highly experienced but definitely, we will come across some who aren't highly experienced. However, they all are very genuine.
Other: The college is very strict about attendance. They will train you for the corporate world. The college timings are from 9 am to 5 pm.

This is not just another average Indian college that you'd come to get a degree and go off.
Placements: Our department is yet to have a placement cell. The other departments have a pretty good placement cell with almost 100% placement record. The Companies like the Deloitte hire our students. We also get recommendations from our faculty members and the director sir to work under the justices in the high court.
Infrastructure: We could literally brag about our campus being the best in our state and is definitely one of the best in the country. Ours is a Wi-Fi campus with hi-tech labs, a big auditorium and 2 seminar rooms. We also have a library with books, for all the courses which help the research students too.
Faculty: "World-class faculty" would be an understatement phrase for the kind of quality faculty members we have got. You can be assured to be in safe hands, and the last thing you'd have to worry about is being guided by the wrong brains. Almost all the faculty members have a PhD against their name, and they come with an immense experience.
Other: Our college is full of activities, be it cultural, sports and every other unique activity you could think of like the cake mixing festivals. Every team in our college has represented our college outside the campus which has made us proud. They were also guided by some really charismatic leaders who make this space all the more competitive to be a part of.

Not as good as it is shown when entered .
Placements: Many of the students got placement as per their results and more got into themselves, leaving the placement offer so it was our choice to take it or not. It was not good to be said but it was a good opportunity for them who do not work for their own businesses.
Infrastructure: There were teachers to guide us and there were libraries, moot courts, wi-GI, classrooms, etc. The hostel facility was average as it is an anti-ragging campus but the food quality was not good and the rooms were very small and had only one bathroom so I would say average on my behalf or okay.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching was good. The course was good but all the subjects were not as ready for industry. Semester exams are difficult but not too hard I would say good. The pass percentage is above 75.

Hi Anusua. Amity, Kolkata has good placement although it does not guarantee 100% placements. Major recruiters are Adobe, British Airways, BNP Paribas, BAJAJ ALLIANZ, Aviva Life, BPL, etc. You can expect a starting salary from 2.5 lakhs to 10 LPA depending on your own calibre.
