Amity University Kolkata - The best review.
Placements: Currently, I am studying bachelor's and have not completed my degree yet. But as per my seniors, the placement opportunities are quite good. Packages are very good if you are hardworking and have potential for your work. In my department last year, a student got a package for 24 lacs per year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very decorative and highly managed. The course that I am pursuing is a bachelor's in business administration. The faculty of this course is very good; the professors are very cooperative and interactive and help students in all ways possible.
Faculty: Exams are held in two parts: 1 is internal and the other is external. Internal consists of 20 to 25 marks and external consists of 60 to 70 marks. Papers are very easy if students study a little bit. The professor gives good marks based on the writing.
Other: I personally chose BBA because I always wanted to have my own business. After the completion of my BBA, I will totally focus on doing my masters and a good amount of work for 3–4 years and then start my own start-up.

College is extremely good and yes, it's good for students.
Placements: 98% students got placed in good companies. 32 LPA is the highest package and the average is 1.80 LPA. Audit, Zomato, Swiggy, IBM, etc. are the top recruiters. 100% students got internships, as Amity university always take care of their students. The top roles offered are salesperson, business administration, and financial management.
Infrastructure: Amity provides the best value for money facility and infrastructure on campus, with centralized AC and a good and hygienic canteen. Hostel facilities are good and strict about going out of the hostel, but the hostel is good and provides a great level of security.
Faculty: The faculty is very helpful and good; they always provide their best from their side. Yes, they make students industry-ready. Semesters are quite hard; they take exams very strictly. Pass percentage depends upon the course; ours is 55 percent.
Other: I was passionate about my BBA course and I want to do business in the future.

Life at Amity University, Kolkata.
Placements: I am a BBA student, and as of now I am in my 2nd year (3rd semester), but I can say about the placement percentage in our college for BBA students. So our college really doesn't give placement to BBA students; placement is for MBA, B.Tech, or law. In BBA, only some good selected students get a chance to apply for placement, and if they are able to crack the interview, they get placement.
Infrastructure: The campus of college is good. There is no mess. We have 3 canteens; canteen food is okay, normal, neither good nor bad; pricing is also reasonable. Hostel: We have separate hostels for girls and boys for 1st year students. They offer the 2nd floor, which is the best room in the hostel. Later, from 2nd year, they shift them to the 6th–7th floor, which is not that good. For sports and games, we have Nathan and different clubs like theater club, event club, and photography. Interested students can take part.
Faculty: Faculty are good knowledgeable. They are helpful. Exams are not that difficult. Passing percent depend on subjects. Ex-Paper 1 is of 100 marks. Out of 100, 70 is for the external writing exam and 30 marks for the internal, 10-mark test, assignment, and presentation. So in both internal and external, if I have to pass, I have to score 33% in internal and external, like if I pass the internal exam but fail the external exam, then I am failed. And most important thing is attendance. 75% attendance is compulsory; if you fail to have 75% attendance, you are not allowed to sit in exam .
Other: I chose this course because I like business and in future I want to do MBA. The best thing I found is that it is easy and interesting, and of course it is about business. We get very little time for the semester, and we have some subjects that are not really important, like IQs (it's a history subject), which we really do not need in BBA. Amity have lots of events; its campus life is also good, crowd depend on your company, scholarship for 1st year students if they scored more than 95% in 12th will get 100% scholarship no fee for 1st year only admission fee is scored more than 90% 50% scholarship no fee for 1st semester, 85+ percentage 25% scholarship. Extracurricular activities: there are many different clubs for this activity like theater club, event club, photography, sport club, fashion club, etc.

No. 1 University in Kolkata.
Placements: In 2023, many companies like Chelson Gordon, Amazon, ITC, Dabur, etc. visited. The average CTC offered was 3 LPA. Most of the students get placed. Top roles offered in the college are that in business development, HR, sales & marketing, finance, etc. Overall, it’s a nice University.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is top notch as compared to any other college in Kolkata. Hi-tech gate entry passes are provided to us to enter the hostel and the college which we scan and then we are able to enter. There are many different amenities available in our hostel like 24*7 Wi-Fi, AC and electricity. Amity also has its own infirmary which is open 24*7. There are 3 canteens available providing veg and non-veg food. The classrooms are also well organized having centralized AC and digital boards present.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified with most of them being Ph.D. holders. Their teaching quality is also quite good. The course curriculum is relevant to the industry in the outer world. The students get a basic overview of how to place themselves in the outer world and get recognized. The semester exams are quite moderate and maximum students pass each semester.
Other: The best thing for me was to choose BBA so I can get industry based experience which will definitely help me in the future. All the facilities provided here for the students are quite good. Each of them gets a way to place themselves apart from the other colleges students. Being the top college of Kolkata, the fests here are organized for 4 days called "AMIPHORIA". All the star events happen here. Scholarship facilities are also provided here and many other essential elements are available which are required in a college.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty, good placements, and everything.
Placements: 95% placed. The highest package was 25 LPA, the lowest package was 5 LPA, and the average is 4-5 LPA. Amazon, IBM, Wipro, etc. 80% got internships from my course in companies like Shopper Stop, Maxview One, NGOs, etc. HR, sales manager, director.
Infrastructure: Every facility is available in college, starting from Wi-Fi, labs, libraries, swimming pools, basketball courts, football fields, badminton fields, and many more. The quality of the hostel is very clean and hygienic, and the food available in the canteen is very cheap, healthy, and tasty, as they serve only vegetables.
Faculty: The teachers are the best here. More than a teacher, they stay as a friend and help everyone in everything; they provide sufficient notes for the students as well. They make the students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate, not hard, not easy. Passing percentage is 35%.
Other: I chose this course because I found it very interesting, and it has a high scope of getting better jobs in the future. I don't think that anything should improve about my course. Events in Amity are the best part of Amity College, as they provide the best events.
