Satisfied with almost everything.
Placements: Amity University Kolkata offers excellent placements, with top recruiters like TCS, Infosys, and Deloitte. The highest package reached 15 LPA, and the average is 5-6 LPA. The placement cell provides great training, ensuring students are job-ready with strong industry connections.
Infrastructure: Amity University Kolkata provides state of the art infrastructure for the BCA course, including modern labs, high-speed internet, and well-equipped classrooms. The hostels are spacious, offering 24/7 security, Wi-Fi, study areas, and recreational facilities, ensuring a comfortable stay.
Faculty: The faculty at Amity University Kolkata is highly qualified and supportive, combining academic expertise with industry experience. The curriculum is updated regularly to match industry trends, ensuring relevance. Exams are fair but rigorous, focusing on practical learning.
Other: I chose this course because from childhood I wanted to do something with computers, and I like coding.

A very renowned and good college, best in infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The highest - 32.51 lac per annum, the lowest - 4 lac per annum, average - 12 lac per annum. Top roles offered are counseling psychologists, research psychologists, educational psychologists, and forensic psychologists. Around 50% of students get internships in my course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at Amity University Kolkata is excellent. The classrooms, labs, and libraries are well-kept, spacious, and equipped with proper equipment. The canteen food is genuinely not that great but has good hygiene overall. There are also courts for games, medical facilities, printing facilities, ATMs, and a pool.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified, always free to help, and have adequate knowledge. The teaching quality is also very good, and interactions outside of studies are also undertaken. Semester exam difficulty is moderate and depends on students' efforts in their studies. The passing mark is 35 and above.

Amity Kolkata, a good option for psychology?
Placements: Amity doesn't really provide the kind of placement they claim to provide, and especially for the course I have done, which is Psychology, there are no placements provided at all. In the Bachelor's course, they don't have any placement options to even sit for, and that's mostly because Psychology jobs require at least a Master's degree.
Infrastructure: The classrooms at Amity are amazing; they are well air-conditioned with whiteboards as well as cardboard. The library at Amity is average. There are not a lot of books available, but it’s okay. The food quality is good, and hostel facilities are fairly fine, but they’re very strict and expensive. Amity does have a sports club, and there are a lot of sports and games played there.
Faculty: The teachers here are Ph.D. holders or Ph.D. scholar students. They are moderately helpful and well-qualified but are only concerned about their syllabus. The course is relevant but not industry-ready because it is very theoretical and there is very little practical exposure provided. The exams at Amity are easy; you can pass if you fill your paper with even 2 or 3 proper answers because Amity follows a percentile system. So, it’s not very difficult to score.
Other: I chose this course because, in Kolkata, we don’t have a lot of good options for psychology, and other courses are fairly fine. They generally provide what they claim to provide, and it is a theoretical-based course, so that’s about it. There is an annual fest, Amiphoria, and there is an annual sports event, Sangathan. The crowd, infrastructure, and extracurricular activities at Amity are good. I would like to improve this course by adding more hands-on experience. We do have an internship that is provided and it is compulsory, but other than that internship, which lasts about six weeks to 2 months, there is no other practical exposure given.

Average college, it should be your last choice to get admission here as there is no placement.
Placements: I’m an undergraduate student in this college pursuing BSc Hons in Biotechnology, so here in this course, we have no placements at BSc level. If someone does an MSc, then they can get a placement. There are no such roles offered to us as far as now.
Infrastructure: Labs are very well equipped with all facilities, just like every other college. There are minor problems regarding labs. Classrooms are also good. We have ac working 24/7 and a projector for teaching. Wi-Fi is also provided. I'm not a hosteler, but as far as I know, it is good, and the food in our canteen is very good.
Faculty: The faculties are helpful and also qualified. This curriculum is relevant, but if someone is really interested in science and research work, then only one should opt for this course as there is no job in bsc level for biotech students as this field requires more and more information.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in Biotechnology subjects. The improvement in this course is to remove subjects which are irrelevant to our course. The college conducts lots of events , annual fests, etc.

Amity University Kolkata
Placements: More or less everyone gets a placement from the college depending on their academic results. Last year, the highest placement was 35 LPA at Amazon. Other companies like Cognizant, Wipro, etc., recruit students from our college. I don't know about the internships, but in 3rd year, the college offers internships to the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is outstanding, and the management is very good. All the floors and the canteen area are centralized with AC, and Wi-Fi is installed all over the campus, which can be accessed by the students. We have a huge library. I don't have any idea about the hostel facilities, but the rooms are very good. The food in the canteen is also very good. Games like football, volleyball, and badminton are played on the campus.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and hold high-level educational degrees. They are very punctual and cooperative with the students. Yes, the course makes the students industry-ready. The exams are moderate and are held nearly five months after the semester starts. A minimum 3 CGPA must be obtained by the student to pass to the next year.

Amity University Kolkata Review.
Placements: The NGO was arranged to give us placements only for internships. Placements aren't there as of now. But placements for Masters are there for political science students. Almost all students in our batch were placed on an internship for 1 month.
Infrastructure: Since political science did not need any labs, we were not able to go to any labs. I was a day scholar but as I heard from my hostel friends, hostels have AC rooms at an extra cost and food charges are extra, which are not included in the hostel's fee.
Faculty: Teachers were okay. They were easily approachable and most of them had a degree with them. They were very helpful when it came to clearing doubts and issues. Classroom teaching was also up to par and followed a strict standard procedure for every semester.
