It has excellent teachers, a great curriculum, awesome infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Most of the students went on to pursue further education, and most of them went to other colleges. Since most of the students pursue further after completion of graduation, it does not affect the placement. Especially it is a private college, so it is assumed that most of the students are from well-to-do families, which means they are not in need of jobs and have a choice whether to pursue a job or education. Hence, placements are not much of an issue. Still, it would have been better. After completion of this course, students can pursue various writing jobs, for instance, scriptwriting, playwriting, content writing, creating writing and linguistics. Most of them choose to become academicians and later become a professor.
Infrastructure: Hostels are divided based on gender and not courses. The food served inside the campus is mostly vegetarian, and eggs are served weekly. Each student has access to Wi-Fi and the library. Canteens serve vegetarian food, and the hostel canteen is an exception. A Cafe Coffee Day branch is available inside the campus. Some classrooms for our course have plug points under each desk, and every classroom has an air-conditioner.
Faculty: All the professors are well-qualified, and they come from prestigious colleges and universities like Presidency, Calcutta University and many others. They are either pursuing their PhD or have already achieved it. All of them have an excellent understanding of the subject they are teaching, and they are able to teach using various techniques. They ensure that students understand the topic very well. Most of the teachers conduct separate doubt clearing sessions after the completion of a topic or at the beginning of every class. Most of the students become academicians after this course, so the course is mostly research-oriented, and students are given various written tasks, which are required and expected of every English Hons student. Some students choose to go into other streams, which are also considered. Various other subjects are also taught, like creative writing. Every semester has a subject that is focused on preparing students for the industry. The pass percentage is standard. Online and offline exams have been very testing. In offline exams, the question paper was as expected at college levels. Each topic was tested in-depth. During online exams, the topics were tested as best as they could be. Details are tested, and trick questions are used to test our knowledge as much as possible. Unlike government colleges, private colleges never stop teaching. Thus it saves the student's time. Our college is also similar. As soon as the first lockdown happened, within a month, online classes started taking place and have never stopped since then. Thus it ensures our education remains as undisrupted as possible. It showed great value for money.

Dissatisfied with the management.
Placements: Bachelors in English Honours is not a degree where you need placement right after graduation. You need to pursue few other courses before getting a job. I don't know about other departments.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. We had everything in the college. We have large buildings with centralised ACs, sports fields for sports. The quality of food in the cafeteria is not at all desirable. Hostel rooms are beautiful but too expensive.
Faculty: The faculty are intellectual, at least of English department. The students of other departments feel tortured and exhausted, physically and mentally. I have seen them being assigned a lot of practicals, diagrams, homework, projects, presentation at the same time.
Other: Fests are not something, AUK is capable of organising. Extracurricular activities are good.

Review of Amity University, Kolkata.
Placements: Placements in our college weren't quite up to the mark. Only 2 companies visited here for placements. In the beginning, the college had provided a lot of hopes to our parents that your child will get placement in the best companies not only in the country but foreign. But at the time of placements, only 2 companies showed up. Even after doing so much hard work, our seniors didn't get a job. Those companies were local, which are located in the city of Kolkata and Durgapur. The salary offered by them was not adequate as per the qualifications of the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite good. It has facilities like air-conditioned classroom and cafeteria. The college lacks in swimming pool and fields. But they have managed to put up a basketball court and a small football field which are adjacent to each other. There is no badminton court, but the college has a TT room and carrom room.
Faculty: Our course was BBA. The first exam of the year takes place in December, and the next in May. There are two semesters, and each student has to qualify in both the semesters eventually to be qualified in the next year. There are 11-13 subjects, including foreign business language in which you have to choose French or German.
