B.A. in Applied Psychology (Honours / Research) - Batch of 2028

Amity University - A place of growth.
Placements: The psychology course is the best course at Amity. It gives you an opportunity to learn and explore yourself and your creativity. It offers a lot of great internships and job opportunities in both the private and public sectors, with an average salary of 3-6 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi available in every corner of Amity. The library is huge and filled with books from all fields. The food is really good, and there are a lot of options to choose from. There are many options for sports as well, like basketball, football, cricket, chess, carrom, badminton, and much more.
Faculty: The faculty is really understanding and sweet. They guide us through the process of learning. There are 2 exams per semester - Mid-sem and End-sem. Both exams are easy if you study well. The study material is really good and updated with the new trends and developments in the respective fields.
Other: Amity has the best events. "Aminova" is the biggest event at Amity, a 3-day event including games, concerts, DJ nights, and much more. There is also a sports event called "Sanghatan," in which different schools in Amity compete against each other.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) (Honours / Research) - Batch of 2027
3.6
3Placements4Infrastructure3Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Good infrastructure and faculty but poor transportation and needs more practical exposure.
Placements: Placement percentage: A high number of students were placed through the university's placement drive. Package details: The highest package was 6-7 Lacs, and the lowest was 2-3 Lacs. The package can go even higher if you are skilled enough.
Infrastructure: Facilities for B.Com include modern classrooms with projectors, Wi-Fi, and computer labs with accounting software. The library offers a wide range of books and resources. The hostel provides a comfortable space with Wi-Fi. However, mess food is repetitive and not so good, considering you have to eat it every day. Sports facilities are nice, including cricket, basketball, and badminton courts. Medical facilities are also there, including a room and an ambulance.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful sometimes; just don't mess with them. The curriculum of the course is really good and well-prepared for real-world finance and accounting roles. Semester exams are moderately hard with a high passing rate among students.
Other: The B.Com program has a great learning environment with a focus on both academics and extracurricular activities. This course covers key financial and accounting concepts. I chose B.Com F&A for my interest in finance and strong career prospects. There should be improvement in more practical training and workshops. Campus life here is good, with diverse events, a green campus, and extracurricular activities.

B.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering - Batch of 2026

Average placements and good teachers.
Placements: The placement record of our college is average. Students who score well and perform excellently in academics get placements easily. We have to score above an 8 CGPA to get into good companies. The average package in our course is 6 LPA, and the highest was 25 LPA. Many MNCs also recruit from our campus.
Infrastructure: The hostel for boys and girls is separate, and security is strict. All basic facilities are available in the hostel like laundry, cleaning, etc. The mess is large, and the food quality is good here. Rooms are fully furnished and air-conditioned. The infrastructure of the college is decent; facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, and libraries are available on campus.
Faculty: The course curriculum is well-designed and provides practical knowledge of the subject. Teaching methodology is good here; teachers are knowledgeable and experienced. Doubt classes are organized weekly, and industrial visits are also frequently organized. Overall, the teachers are good and helpful.
Other: The college is very crowded.

MBA in Construction Project Management - Batch of 2024
Offered by RICS School of Built Environment, Amity University, Mumbai
3.2
4Placements3Infrastructure3Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Review of RICS School of Built Environment.
Placements: 98% of students were placed. The highest package is 28 LPA, the lowest is 5.7 LPA, and the average is 7 LPA. AWFIS, CBRE, Savills, Turner & Townsend, C&W, Vestian, Vishwaraj SPCL, Atkins, GMR, GR, and startups are the top recruiters. An internship was offered to all students as it is mandatory. Students can opt out of campus internships and placements. Most of the roles offered were related to construction project management.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good, but AC doesn't work sometimes. The library is quite spacious, and once registered, you can issue books. Wi-Fi is okayish, network is also okayish, and overall infrastructure should be improved. The hostel is also fine; 2 people share a room, while 6 / 8 people share dorms, which means 6 or 8 people share washrooms and a common basin. A night canteen facility is available. Wardens are quote fine, and you'll have to take outpass every time you go out. If it's for a day, then day passes; if you'll be coming the next day, then it's night pass.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. From 2022 to 23, which was my 1st year, academics were good, but the quality dropped too much in the 2nd year. The course curriculum is very relevant, helps us a lot, and prepares us for our professional lives. Semester exams will be held once a semester, and all marks will be calculated based on assignments, which have to be submitted at the end or stages depending on faculty.
Other: Campus life is okay. The biggest festival is AMIVA, usually held in April, which will be for a week with an event every day. It'll have competitions also, and students will be awarded. There will be a sports competition that will be conducted in September where clusters will be competing against each other. Each cluster will have a minimum of 3 schools that will be completing against other clusters either single or group games.

B.Tech. + M.Tech. in Biotechnology - Batch of 2025
2.6
3Placements3Infrastructure2Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life2Value for Money
Amity institute- More like SCAMity institute.
Placements: As for the biotechnology course, the placement isn't really that great. Only a few companies arrive for placements, and the maximum package is 6 LPA, not more than that. And after doing a master's, very low-level start job offers arrive. And some are not even related to the course. This time Serum, Nextgen, Medispec, Botanicals, and a few more companies were recruiting.
Infrastructure: The hostel has free Wi-Fi. There is a dorm with one washroom, and three rooms are included in each dorm with two-member occupancy in each room. The room isn't spacious, and the charge for a non-AC room per year is 80k, and AC rooms are about 1.2 lakh (not exactly sure). The food is excluded; you will have to pay extra separately for the meals. Apart from that, there are 4 canteens and a few places to eat right outside the campus. But the food in the campus isn't really great. There are no nutritional benefits that the food provides.
Faculty: The faculty members are not that great. The College focuses on meetings and other activities rather than teaching actual biotechnology. However, the dual degree curriculum is much better than other biotechnology courses. It includes a compulsory internship, review article drafting, research article presentation, and an in-house dissertation project, along with the final dissertation project, which I believe is a good amount of exposure for the course. But still there are better colleges to opt for biotechnology.
Other: I chose this college out of force. There was no feasible option available since during the time there was a Covid pandemic. But if I could go back in time, I would definitely opt for a better college.

Satisfied with the infrastructure and placements.
Placements: Placements in our college are good. Every year, hundreds of students get placed from our course. Companies select students on the basis of their skills and interviews. Companies like Airbus, and Vistara recruit from our college offering an average package of 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are available in our course. Smart boards are installed in all the classrooms and the labs are well managed. Hostels are also well maintained with all the facilities like laundry, gym etc. Mess is located near the hostel and the food quality is also good. Many grounds are available to play games like football, cricket etc.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good in our course. They are very polite and friendly in their behavior. They have good teaching and elaborating skills. Also, they help the students all the time. Curriculum of our course is good according to me. Examination department is very strict here and the passing percentage is around 60 percent in our course.
Other: Scholarships are provided to students-in-need and who have scored well in JEE.
