AUCET Exam Dates 2021 will be out soon and the state level exam is expected to be conducted in May 2021 in offline mode. Andhra University, the conducting body of the Common Entrance Test, will tentatively release AUCET 2021 application form in the fourth week of May 2021. Once out, candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be able to fill AUCET application form, available on the official website of the exam - audoa.in.

What is AUCET?
AUCET or Andhra University Common Entrance Test is a state-level entrance exam, conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. The exam is conducted to enrol students in postgraduate courses, offered under the streams of Science, Commerce, Humanities, Management, Teaching and Journalism and Mass communication. Aspirants are offered admission in Andhra University and its affiliated colleges as well as Dr BR Ambedkar University, Srikakulam on the basis of their scores in the AUCET entrance exam.
The state-level Common Entrance Test is conducted to offer admission to courses such as:

AUCET Eligibility Criteria
The Andhra University’s Directorate of Admission has set proper eligibility parameters for the examination. A brief about the same is mentioned below:
Nationality
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- The candidate should belong from Andhra Pradesh and must hold valid residential proof as subsequently amended in the Andhra Pradesh State, Educational Institution 1974.
Education Qualification
- Candidates who have passed from recognized universities are considered for admission into PG Arts and Science courses if they possess a three-year Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 50 per cent marks, 45 per cent for reserved categories.
- Candidates who have appeared/appearing for their final year examination in 2021 are only eligible.
Age Limit
- There is no age limit set in order to appear for the exam
- The maximum eligible age to apply for fee reimbursement for SC/ST category is 34 and for EBC/ Minorities/Disabled candidates is 30 years.

AUCET 2021 Admission Process
Candidates clearing the eligibility criteria can fill the application form via online mode only. The steps to apply for the exam and the following events under AUCET are given below:
Stage 1: Registration
Visit the official website and fill in the personal details like Candidate's Name, DoB, Mobile No., Nationality, Email ID and more. Then, click on the 'Register' button. A confirmation email ID will be sent to the registered Email ID with the official login credentials.
Now, using the issued credentials, fill in your personal and educational details. Select the exam centre (s) for the exam and scan and upload the required documents as per the mentioned specifications.

Stage 2: Pay Application Fee
Once the candidate has filled the form with all the details entered, applicants need to pay the AUCET 2021 application fee either via online mode (debit card/ credit card/ net banking) or offline mode (Andhra Bank/ SBI Challan).

Stage 3: Download AUCET 2021 Admit Card
After submitting and paying the application fee, the candidate can download their AUCET 2021 admit card from the official website of Andhra University. The hall ticket/ the admit card will be issued a week before the entrance exam date. The document will contain the following details:

Stage 4: AUCET 2021 Entrance Exam
After downloading the hall ticket, candidates need to appear for the exam as mentioned in the document. The exam will be conducted in pen-paper mode. The total time duration to complete the exam is 1 hour 30 minutes and the paper will be available in English only. The questions will be of objective type and will carry one mark each. Candidates are free to attempt all the questions as there is no provision of negative marking.

Stage 5: Results
The results for the entrance exam will be published on the official website - audoa.in. Usually, the results are released in the form of a merit list. In case of two or more candidates secure the same marks, the order of merit is judged based on Date of Birth (DoB) wherein a candidate older in age is given priority.

Stage 6: Counselling
After the results are announced, the authorities released the counselling schedule on its website. The registration for the counselling is done online only. After registrations, candidates have to upload the required documents (valid Government Photo ID, AUCET Admit Card, AUCET Score Card 2021, Marksheets, Migration certificate and more) for verification, and then have to fill the web options. After the conclusion of the choice filling process, seat allotment results will be released.
