It is a good college to learn practically at an affordable fee.
Placements: Every year, placement programs are conducted. Around 60% of students got placed. The average salary package offered is around 1.5 LPA - 2 LPA. In the 3rd year, we went for internships in industries like Madras Pharmaceuticals, Medopharm, Axon, and Wellous Pharma. Roles offered are clinical pharmacist and hospital pharmacist.
Infrastructure: Our college provides excellent infrastructure. Lab facilities are excellent in our college. It is a government college. These facilities are incredible. There is a peaceful and wide library including all standard books and journals. Classrooms are sufficient for students. The hostel is near the college, so travel is convenient. Within 5 minutes of walking, we can reach the college. The food is average. Rooms are sufficient. It is a university, so sports events are excellent. Our university has a Pavilion for all sports. We can also get courses offered by the physical education department. Every year they conduct sports day.
Faculty: Our department staff members are well-qualified and doctorates. They teach wonderfully in both theory and practical. We have 8 semesters in 4 years. Exams are not very difficult. Syllabus questions are asked in exams. We can pass by reading well.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in pharmacy. It is a wonderful course. It provides a good future in many departments like research, medical shops, marketing, etc. It provides government jobs as drug inspector and hospital pharmacist. Our college develops our skills.

Dissatisfied with the hostel and mess food. But University is like the colleges in movies.
Placements: 1. About 85% of marks are required for a students to get placements in this. Course. 2. Starting salary offered is INR 10,000 to INR 18,000. 3. Cipla, lupin, reddy laboratory, sun pharmaceutical Ltd. , etc.are the recruiters.
Infrastructure: 1. The infrastructure is normal, but the lab faculty members are available. All chemicals for the experiments are done in our college. In most of the private colleges, some facilities for the experiments are not available. We have all the facilities for experiments based. 2. The quality and facilities of the hostel are not much better, but medical facilities, sports, and games are available.
Faculty: 1. The teachers are well experienced and knowledgeable. Good teaching quality. The teachers are kind and helpful. Some free periods are available. We feel free and not stressed. And most of Saturday Sundays are holidays. 2. Its curriculum is relevant and ready for industries.
Other: 1. Because of my mom's wish, I have taken this course. But after joining I am liking it.

    Department of Pharmacy, Annamalai University.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in my classes is about 75%. The highest package would be 50,000, and the lowest package would be 20,000 rupees. Apollo Pharmacy is one of the top recruiting companies. Every student will get an internship in their 4th year, and placements will be awarded in the final year after the semesters. The minimum percentage for students should be 7.5 CGPA out of 10. The roles offered are clinical pharmacist positions in pharmacies.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are average. The pharmacy department has well-equipped machinery and apparatus for lab practicals, which are conducted in batches. There are no Wi-Fi facilities in college, but Wi-Fi is available in the hostel. Classrooms are overall good, with many benches available, and the stage is nearby the blackboard, making classes clearly visible to everyone. The library is equipped with international books and many subject-specific texts. Every year, there is an annual sports meet, and the hospital nearby ensures good medical facilities. There is no canteen on the college campus, but there is a cooperative store in every department.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive and guide students effectively. Every student is assigned a mentor. The faculty members are well qualified, holding higher degrees such as PhDs, and they are experienced professors with more than 15 to 19 years in the field. Teaching quality is good, and students are encouraged to refer to the library for additional skills. The courses strictly follow the Pharmacy Council of India syllabus, and students are prepared for internships in their third year. Semester exams are a bit difficult, with a pass percentage of 50%.
Other: The main reason for choosing this course is a passion for medicine. The best aspect of the course is the extensive knowledge and skills related to the pharmaceutical industry and its strict regulations learned from professors. The course should improve its materials to incorporate the latest technology, as the syllabus is good, but some of the content is outdated. There is a Pongal celebration every year along with the annual sports meet. Various scholarships are available, including the first graduate scholarship, post-matric scholarship, Pudhumaipen scholarship, and Tamil Puthalvan scholarship. The campus is very wide, with a neat atmosphere.
