Q:   How effective is the placement cell for M.E./M.Tech courses at Crescent College?

    A:
    {Source: M.E./M.Tech students & alumni}

Effectiveness of Placement Cell for M.E/M.Tech Courses

Based on the statements provided by students and alumni, here's an overview of the effectiveness of the placement cell for M.E/M.Tech courses:

    * Placement Rate: According to one of the statements, "Above 70% of students got placed" in the college, indicating a relatively high placement rate for M.E/M.Tech students.

    * Average Salary Package: While the highest salary package offered was 17 LPA, the average salary package was around 10 LPA, suggesting that most students received decent salaries during placements.

    * Company Visits: Although no specific mention was made about companies visiting the campus exclusively for M.E/M.Tech students, mentions were made of companies like L&T and TCS attending recruitment drives, implying that these companies may have interviewed M.E/M.Tech students as well.

    * Internship Opportunities: Some students reportedly attended internship drives, which could lead to conversion to full-time positions after graduation.

While the data provided suggests that the placement cell is reasonably effective, it's essential to note that individual results may vary depending on factors such as academic performance, skills, and personal connections.

Overall, the placement cell appears to offer a mix of opportunities, including company visits, internships, and potentially converting internships to full-time jobs. However, students' success ultimately depends on their own efforts and abilities.

Placements are more and infrastructure is good.
Placements: 100% placement is guaranteed by the college. But the thing is, the student has to finish all subjects without fail. The student doesn't have any spending backlog. If it is there, it will not be allowed into the placement cell. The highest, the lowest and average packages are 53 LPA, 8 LPA, and 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: Fests and events happen every year. Free Wi-Fi is provided. Well-managed library with updated books and not only subject books are present, some other knowledgeable books are there in the library. A medical facility is present. The food was hygienic and tasty. But sometimes it has bad taste.
Faculty: The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. In this course, it contains all things like building soft skills and technical skills. Teaching quality is good and well-trained staff is present. Knowledgeable teachers provide good stuff to the students.

Infrastructure: There are many facilities at our college. The infrastructure is pretty good and excellent. They provide hostel facilities, and the food is very healthy in the hostel; it is served in the mess and dining. They provide medical facilities. They encourage people to play sports.
Faculty: The course curriculum is updated regularly and the teachers are excellent in our college. Teachers are well-trained and well-certified in Ph.D. Their teaching style is good and they explain doubts clearly. Semester exams are somewhat difficult.

    Absolutely a good campus.
Placements: A lot of opportunities are provided by this course. A good demand is there for this course in the market. By studying this course, a number of job opportunities are available. 80% of students are placed, and 60% of students got internships. The highest package was 54 LPA, the lowest package was 4 LPA, and the average was 8 LPA. L&T recruits more.
Infrastructure: With a valid college ID card, the students are allowed on the campus. Regular breaks are given during college timing. But there is no time for games. We can play after college hours. The quality of the hostel is good. For every room, 5-6 members should be there. Mess foods are sometimes good and sometimes not.
Faculty: The quality of the teaching was excellent. Maximum offline teaching will be done. Managed with offline and online resources. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. Qualified teachers are there on the campus. Exams are not typical to attempt.

The hostel has good food menu.
Placements: Placements are almost at 100% since the last 3 years, with 1 bulk recruiter, which requires almost 60 to 80% of attendees from companies like TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, CTS, etc. are in this category. They offer INR 3.6 to 4 LPA for M.Tech and INR 3 to 3.8 LPA for B.Tech students.
Infrastructure: Yes, I have opted for the hostel. Hostel facilities and infrastructure are not bad compared to other colleges at this level. They provide AC and non-AC rooms. Mess food is also good. Non-vegetarian and vegetarian food is also available. Currently, our hostel fee is INR 90,000 per year, but it keeps changing every year. External Expenses: Rs. 10000- 15000.
Faculty: The course structure is good; however, some practical things must be introduced for better exposure. There will be exams in four semesters one in May and the other in November or December. In the 1st and 2nd semesters, there will be 5 theory papers and 2 practical papers. The 3rd and 4th semesters will only have an evaluation of your project and thesis. Class size;-70 The course costs INR 70000 per year.

I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: The training and placement cell of our college is good. Many students got placed in our college. Many companies visit our college to recruit students. Placements depend on students' capabilities. If you get an internship at Intel or any other company, then there is a high chance of getting converted to full-time. Above 70% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 17 LPA. The average salary package offered is 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college has the best hostels. The hostels have good rooms. They provide many facilities. All first-year PG students are staying in a hostel. It has enough capacity to include all 1st year PG students. The latest fees are mentioned below Rs. 28300, including 6 months of mess fees of Rs. 4,000. Around 2 students can stay in each room. The hostel rooms are spacious. The hostel has a huge balcony. Beds are good. They provide good quality cupboards, study tables, and all other facilities for easy functioning. It has a common bathroom and toilets. They are highly cleaned and well-maintained.
Faculty: Our professors are good. The syllabus is good. It is getting changed according to NCERT. The library is good. It will be open till midnight. The curriculum needs to be more focused on the specialisation. There are some useless subjects for VLSI engineering only because of a lack of faculty members. Our college provides labs and projects for VLSI and embedded systems like low-power VLSI, SoC, and architecture. The course curriculum is good. Around 40 students can accommodate in each classroom. The course fee is Rs. 40,000 per year.

The great positive factor about this college is the infrastructure.
Placements: We are eligible from the 6th semester for placement. Companies like Wipro, Tech Mahindra, HCL and Accenture have visited and made offers, the highest package stands for 5 Lacs per annum the average package is 3 Lacs per annum about 90% of the students are getting please my plan is to start my own startup company in this field.
Infrastructure: I am a hosteller. The hostel facilities are just average. There are different blocks for different year students the block allotted for first third and fourth year students are very bad. The AC room have attached bathroom where has in non AC rooms the bathroom are commonly shared. There is 24 /7 water drinking water also supply and backup generator in case if the electricity goes out there is also a full time broadband Wi-Fi connection which facilitates and encourages the student to learn from the internet.
Faculty: The best thing about the college is the course itself. The course consists of deeper knowledge of the subject chosen from the first semester itself. Academic consists of the best syllabus that can be covered by any college so far. Rather than teaching out of stream subject in first (many college do teach) faculty members are also very supportive and will not make you feel uncomfortable while solving the doubts. Also, the faculty members are very consistent in their teaching some people think the college faculty are not teaching well but it is not the case here. Class size:-50 Course fees:-INR 40000 per year.
