Review of Acharya Bangalore Business School.
Placements: Placements at our college are excellent for MBA and PGDM students but for science students, they are quite limited. In our course, most of the students study further and don't work. Internships are great for science students who are in their final year as teachers send them personally to well-known places.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good but Wi-Fi does not work. Classrooms are good for all batch students. I don't stay at the hostel but some of my friends do and the girls' hostel food is the worst. The canteen food is fine. Sports and games exist but no one takes it seriously.
Faculty: Teachers are good but a lot of them involve students unnecessarily in teachers' politics. The teaching quality depends on the teacher. The course curriculum is good but more practical applications should be added. Semester exams are fine. The pass percentage is 42%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. This college makes everything about marks which I don't like. I would like to improve the professors' way of communicating with students. We don't expect anything. There are some activities here but nothing will push you to participate.

BBA LL.B. - Batch of 2024
Offered by Kristu Jayanti College

The college is having a very good infrastructure and its a green campus and crowded.
Placements: The placement opportunities for law students are very limited. However, the autonomous batch has many placement opportunities available. The top companies that recruit from my college are KPMG, EY, Deloitte, HDFC Bank, and South Indian Bank. These companies only come for placement of autonomous and MBA students, not for law students. The college does not provide any internship opportunities for law students, so we have to find them ourselves.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are well-equipped with great infrastructure, including a projector in each room. The auditoriums are impressive and there is centralized AC for the comfort of students. The college has Wi-Fi facilities, but it is not always accessible. Additionally, there is a cafeteria on campus, which serves good food, but the prices are not very student-friendly.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and many of them have completed their Ph.D. Even the pass out students from the college get placed as teachers. Although they possess good subject knowledge, some of them struggle with effective teaching methodologies. Nonetheless, they are always willing to help the students.
Other: "The reason I chose this course is because I aspire to become a successful lawyer. I have been passionate about pursuing this course since my childhood. The college conducts numerous events and has a green and crowded campus. The college is always clean and well-maintained."

Review on the college infrastructure and placement.
Placements: About sixty percent of students were placed. The lowest package that a student was placed in was 6 Lacs per annum, the highest was around 18 Lacs per annum and the average package was around 10 to 11 Lacs per annum. The companies that came for the placements were Amazon, Infosys, Deloitte and more.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite good. The library, labs, classrooms, and other facilities are well-maintained. We also have access to Wi-Fi. The hostel accommodations are good, with spacious rooms and healthy food. Wi-Fi is available in the hostel as well.
Faculty: The teachers at this college are very knowledgeable in their fields and have many years of teaching experience. They are also very friendly and willing to help students whenever they are free. The exams are somewhat easy, and most students pass.

Fests are all always happening.
Placements: Companies like EY, and Deloitte recruit from the college. Out of 30 students at least one of them will get selected. Almost all the students join internships in their third year. Students after finishing the degree might get hired as interns in the commission.
Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi-supported computer labs and a library. Lots of books and e-books as well. The canteen provides different types of food. The hostel provides food and all the facilities needed. The wellness room is very comfortable and basic medicine is always available.
Faculty: All the HODs have completed their Ph.D and are good at what they teach. Very knowledgeable about their specialized subjects. The course is neither very detailed nor very restricted. The semester exams are easy and most of the students pass every exam. Overall average college.
Other: I chose this course because it has both psychology and computer Science. CS is trending and psychology is something I am interested in. The events and fests go around throughout the year. The campus surrounding is very lush green.

Offered by NMKRV College For Women
2.6
2Placements2Infrastructure3Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Once Hailed for Its Greatness, Now Mediocre.
Placements: I pursued a B.A., and the placements were disappointing. While the faculty did their best by sharing resources and contacts, the college itself provided minimal training, putting no effort into ensuring each student found a job matching their skills and passion. Though a handful did secure placements, they were mostly in commerce or entry-level call center positions. I found a job independently; the college offered no assistance.
Infrastructure: Midway through my time here, the college started demolishing various facilities, leading to a chaotic environment. The once serene quadrangle turned into a construction site, causing inconvenience during exams. Library services were average, with a good book collection, but there was no encouragement to utilize these services. It often felt like even the librarians weren't welcoming to students.
Faculty: I must say the faculty was the only positive aspect of this college, they were still not entirely great. Starting with the strong points, the psychology and English departments were always open to students and supported us in any way possible. The journalism department gave us access to the media lab and resources needed to learn practical knowledge, and the faculty themselves were very well-informed about what they were teaching. I had no complaints with the language departments. However, faculty turnover was frequent, occurring almost every other month, and the process of hiring new professors took an unreasonably long time. The English department faced this issue for an extended period and eventually changed their Head of Department (HOD), which proved to be a poor decision. The journalism department, in particular, has been severely understaffed for over a year. I must also note that the journalism department was entirely closed off to students who needed extra support. They showed a lack of understanding and identified only the students they deemed to be performing well, focusing solely on their development. The HOD was also observed to be extremely rude to students on occasion, making us wait outside the department for 1-2 hours straight while waiting for project approvals instead of simply communicating when they would be available. It was understandable that, due to the department being understaffed, the HOD was stretched thin and couldn't always cater to all our needs. However, there was no justification for her to be as rude and partial as she was. I still appreciate their interest in preparing students for the industry, but the way they went about it was simply bad. Despite these issues, the faculty remains a stronghold of this institution.
