All you need to know about BASEU.
Placements: So basically, about 80 to 90 percent of students completing Masters get placed by the campus placements itself. The highest package is about 14 Lacs and the average is almost 8 Lacs. Top recruiting companies include Ernst and Young and even Infosys. Other than this, students get internships in EY, Niti Ayog, RBI, etc. In the 4th year, it's compulsory for every student to complete a 2-month summer internship. Top roles offered are data analyst, financial analyst, researcher, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college has an on-campus hostel that accommodates all students. The entire campus has 24-hour running Wi-Fi facilities. There are computer labs, a library, a student center, an activity center, and even a gym. The hostel rooms are very spacious, but the mess food is awful. Other than this, students can have sports facilities like football, basketball, badminton, table tennis, chess, etc. Medical facilities and a doctor and nurse are also available.
Faculty: The teachers overall are very knowledgeable about their subjects. Since the batches have fewer students, teachers are able to pay attention to everyone. The course curriculum is one of the best in India as it is very relevant to the real world. It focuses on practical aspects. The semester exams range from moderate to difficult based on the subject. 80-90 percent of students do get passed.
Other: The only drawbacks are that this college isn't very popular and hence the placements aren't up to the mark. Other than this, college life is very dull with little to no fests and events. However, our college is slowly but surely improving in these areas.
