Placement Cell at Bharathidasan University's Khajamalai Campus

According to student reviews, here's what we know about the placement cell:

    * No campus interviews: The university does not conduct campus interviews, which means students need to rely on their own efforts to secure job placements.
    * Placements dependent on academic performance: Placement opportunities largely depend on the academic performance of students, specifically their marks scores.
    * Good connections with top companies: Despite no campus interviews, the university has strong relationships with top companies, which can lead to job opportunities for students who perform well academically.

It appears that while the placement cell may not actively engage in campus recruitment, the university's connections with industry partners still offer potential job prospects for its B.E./B.Tech students. However, students' success ultimately depends on their individual academic achievements.

I am satisfied with infrastructure and faculty members of this college.
Placements: You need 60% to get placed in this college. There are several recruiting companies in the CSE department. About 70-80% of students got internships at Shalom Infotech, PVS Private Limited, and many more startups. Network manager, software engineer, full stack developer, database management, and many roles are offered in this degree.
Infrastructure: This campus has good labs and infrastructure. The computer science and engineering department has a separate library for technology students that is very good. We also have free Wi-Fi in the hostel and in every department. The food served is average in the hostel and purified water is provided.
Faculty: Our faculty members are good. Some are friendly. Everyone helps you to get placed and that is too helpful. It makes students industry-ready. It is an integrated course but we can discontinue B.Tech also. The pass percentage is 50% and exams are average.
Other: I opted for this college and course because I'm good at creating and destroying the hardware. The semester fee is Rs.25,000 - Rs.30,000 and Rs.7,000 - Rs.8,000 for SC and ST students.

I am dissatisfied with the faculty of this college.
Placements: The placement has not been happening since the lockdown of covid. Before that, there were only some companies. For the internship, we could not go because of class irregularities. The usual percentage of internships provided is around 10% and the roles this course offers are very good.
Infrastructure: The hostel is very bad and has not many rooms with 3 people living in one small cubicle. The mess is disgusting with minimal cleanliness and very bad food. There are no facilities for enjoyment and sports. The Wi-Fi available is very slow. The hostel has bad bathrooms and toilets and is not very clean.
Faculty: Teachers were qualified but also sometimes egoistic. The course is very good, but studying here does not make us industry ready. The exams are hard and not much easier to study. The teaching quality was not much good and we had to sometimes study ourselves.
Other: We have no cultural fests or other functions in our college.

M.Sc. in Computer Science is offered by the Bharathidasan University, Khajamalai Campus, with a tuition fee of between INR 16,000 and INR 49,380 for the whole course that takes up two years. Such a fee plan is indeed relatively economical compared to that of most institutions offering such courses.
