BHU BPT 2020 result is deferred due to the shifting of the exam event calendar because of the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak. No official notice has been released by the BHU yet in this regard. According to the annual entrance exam calendar, the admission process for BHU BSc BPT should have started. The BHU will announce the BHU BPT 2020 result on their official website. The result will be available in the PDF format. All the qualified candidates will be able to check their result on the official website by searching their name in the merit list. The result will be available category-wise.

How to Check BHU BPT 2020 Result?

To check the results, candidates have to follow several steps given below:

  • Candidates have to Visit the BHU official website, bhu.ac.in/ims/
  • Look out for the ‘BSc BPT 2020 Result’ link in latest notice/news section at the homepage
  • Candidates will be redirected to a new page and they have to choose their respective category (General/OBC/SC/ST) under which they had applied.
  • Candidates have to Press CTRL+F to search their name and result from the list
  • Result in a downloadable PDF format will appear on screen, and candidates can take the printout of the result

  • Name of the applicant
  • Roll Number of the applicant
  • Category (General/OBC/SC/ST)
  • Overall Rank
  • Date of birth of the candidate
  • OMR Total
  • Email Id
  • Qualifying status

Tie-Breaking Guidelines for BHU BPT 2020 Result

A Tie situation is observed when two or more applicants secure same marks then the following is resolved by tie-breaking. Below are the BHU BPT 2020 tie-breaking guidelines:

  • Candidate with the higher score in the zoology section will be given a higher rank
  • If candidates have secured equal marks in Zoology, then the candidate with higher marks in Botany section will be given preference
  • Candidates who scored higher marks in Chemistry section of entrance test will be ranked higher
  • Candidates securing higher marks in Physics section of entrance test will be given preference
  • If candidates have scored equal marks in all the above mentioned subjects, then the elder candidate (in age) will be given preference
