BHU BPT 2020 exam pattern will have all necessary details regarding the question paper and is designed by the conducting body Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), Banaras Hindu University (BHU). The exam pattern will be a crucial tool of information for the candidates to help them enhance their preparation of the exam. The exam pattern comprises the details about the exam such as duration of exam language and the marking scheme. The BHU BPT 2020 exam has now been postponed without any official notice and was earlier scheduled for second week of June, 2020 tentatively.  Below is the BHU BPT Exam Pattern 2020

BHU BPT 2020 exam will be an offline exam. The candidates have to appear for the national level entrance exam and it will be conducted via pen and paper mode. No online facility such as the access to computer and the internet will be given to the candidates. The candidates will be provided the OMR sheets at the allotted exam centre and candidates are required to carry their own stationaries like pen and pencil with them. The pen and paper based exam will have question papers available in English language.

BHU BPT 2020 question paper will be have questions based on the concept of syllabus of class 11 and class 12. The question paper will be aimed to test the knowledge and ability of the applicants in four subjects, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. The question paper will be divide in four sections of all the mentioned four subjects respectively. Each section will have 25 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and will carry 400 marks in total. All the four sections, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology will have 25 questions each carrying 100 marks in total. Candidates will be given 120 minutes (2 hours) to finish the BHU BPT 2020 written exam

According to the exam pattern of BHU BPT 2020 exam, there will be no negative marking in the examination. Each correct response will translate to one mark and each incorrect response will lead to deduction of zero mark.

Applicants should also take a note that the questions that have been left un-attempted will not affect their marks in any way. For such questions, the examiner will neither add nor subtract any marks.

The applicants have to give their responses on an OMR sheet provided at the exam centre and there will be certain guidelines mentioned on the usage of the OMR sheet which the candidates should read carefully follow the same before starting to attempt the question paper.

  • Candidates will not be able to change their responses on the OMR sheet once answered
  • There’s no option of erasing the responses once answered
  • If in case, any candidate marks two responses for a single question, the question will be considered as null and void response leading to a translation of zero mark.
  • Candidates will get a separate space for rough work purposes in the question booklet in the form of boxes and no candidate is allowed to write anything on the OMR sheet.
