Placements: Placement is not good. The average salary offered was 2LPA. The lowest salary offered was 84000PA. Some students tried off campus and got a salary of 3.5 LPA. Very less no. Of students got placed in companies that visit the campus. Most companies are Bhubaneswar based and offer very less salary as compared to the salary offered in the market for the same role. Placements: Placement is very less. Except Infosys, no other known companies come for placement. Not more than 3 to 4 students get placed each year. Their initial salary is not more than 12 to 20 thousand. College does not provide any internship for students, they have to manage their own.

Placements: Hardly there were no placements from my course. One placement was conducted for a technical consultant in an IT company. There is no scope for placements here. Salaries offered were very less, and mostly none of the companies visited the campus for placements for civil.

Placements: More than 50% of the students got placed in 2019. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA and the average salary package offered was 3.2 LPA. TCS, Zycus, Wipro, Byju's, etc., were the top recruiting companies. Software developer was the top roles offered to students.

Placements: The college doesn't provide any campus placements. Students got reduced because of fewer faculty. None of the companies visited our campus for placement in recent years. Students are doing other courses and taking other coaching for job opportunities.

Placements: Placements are nil, and no company visit this college. They only inform students where pool campus is going on, and in that, hardly 2 or 3 students will get selected. Internships also depend on students as college does not take any responsibility of students. There is a placement cell, but it is useless.

Placements: Placements are not that much good in Orissa Engineering College. Our seniors faced many problems regarding placements. Mostly 20-25 students got placed from 400 students. The college reputation is decreasing day by day.

Placements: No company has visited the campus till now. During our my tenure, we took the initiative to take part in off-campus drives collaborating with Government College of Keonjhor. Wipro is the only company visited to recruit the students. Teachers show no interest in the placements of students.

Placements: Only the computer science and information technology students get placements, and for other branches, very few companies visit the campus to hire them. Most of the students opt to prepare for competitive exams.

Placements: Placements in our college are not much good. The placement process is very bad. The training provided is not much good. They do not focus on the technical skills of students. Placement officer and staff are very rude and not helpful. The college claims for providing 99% placements, but in reality, it is 40-50%.

In the year 2018, the college has charged Rs. 25,000 extra for providing placement opportunity. Most of the companies visit our campus, but they are fake companies.

Mostly, private companies visited the college for placements. Around 10% to 20% of the students did internships and were not offered any stipends. A placement cell is available in the college, but it doesn't function.

Placements: our college has the worst campus. I can't take placements from here. When our college itself is not good, it is difficult to assume whether the placements will be good or not. The college is very bad and the staff is not good. I only need a good job where I can grow my career.

Placements: The college doesn't provide any placement opportunities. The college doesn't provide any placement opportunities for the students of the civil branch and other core branches. No company visit the campus to hire the students of the core branches. Even the students of core branches are not allowed to apply for any companies. Only a few students get placed through our college. It's very disappointing, and we are very much unhappy with our college management and the system of our college.
