Read it if you are planning to get into this college.
Placements: The placements Scenario is weak at Bundelkhand University. The training and placement cell is not at all active and very few companies visit for campus placements. Hence, you will have to rely on off-campus placements. You will have to work hard on your skills as the job market is very demanding and there are no placement opportunities provided by a college so you have to be on your own and grab an off-campus placement. The previous batch had a 30% placement record, most were off-campus placements, however, one girl from CSE got placed in Samsung with a package of 20 LPA. Don't expect placements in core branches like mechanical, placements in core branches are nearly zero or very low, and that one would not work even if placed. However the highest package last year was 10 LPA in the mechanical branch and giving an average package number is not possible as very few students got placed in mechanical. If you are taking admission to this college don't take it if you don't get CS or ECE.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well furnished when compared to other government universities. The library is good it contains all the major engineering titles, however, they are older editions, not the latest ones. You can issue a book in your name for free for 45 days period using your library card. The library is RFID enabled. Labs are good and contain all the basic equipment required for engineering practicals however you have to be self-dependent as most of the lab boys and teachers don't know how to operate the latest equipment so you have to be self-dependent to learn practical concepts from the third party sources and apply them in the lab. No Wi-Fi on campus.
Faculty: Faculty is just average, however, you have regular classes in comparison to other state universities. You have to take the initiative if you want to learn, no one is gonna push you. The course curriculum is a bit outdated and for sure it is not industry relevant. The teachers are of helpful nature if you ask for help you will get it, but don't compare it to private colleges where teachers literally give respect to students. , There is a 75% attendance rule but as it's a government college so 50% will also do the job. Semester exams are not that tough, however, if you choose to get involved in local culture and don't study anything then you have to rethink before taking admission as many students here get backlogs and even year backlogs which delay your degree duration. The simple mantra is to study and solve the previous year's questions to obtain good marks in semester examinations.

University got upgraded in all courses and makes studying more easy.
Placements: Maximum 2 to 5 percent student are placed from Bundelkhand University. Package is maximum 4 lakhs for all Bundelkhand University students. Totally local companies are recruiting. 10 to 30 percent students goes for internships.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very bad like old type such as hostel infrastructure looks like buildings from 1970. College does not have Wi-Fi available in hostel and library and labs are not available. Hostel gate is already broken and so are chairs. College does not have canteen and medical facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are not knowledgeable and they do not have teaching experience or qualities. 50 percent students are failed in all batches. And semester exams are very easy. But this university mostly fails 50 percent students in subjects in order to make money through examination form per subject.

It provides good infrastructure, placements, qualified teachers, etc.
Placements: This university is not good in placements, but now it is improving. Companies start visiting our campus and selecting students from the mechanical branch. The average salary package offered is around 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: There is a huge and green campus with a little mountain in the middle, there is a separate department building for the mechanical branch. There are different types of laboratories like automobile laboratories, manufacturing science laboratories, etc. Department owns CNC lathe machines, UTM, and many more modern technology-based machines, all classes are smart in this college. It provides a huge library, indoor stadium, playground, etc. This university owns 8 hostels including both girls and boys.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and experienced. Classes and laboratories are commenced on a routine, and there is compulsory attendance of 75% for each student. But students are still studying the old syllabus. Students have a separate building called examination building in which they give their exams, and the average passing SGPA is around 7. The students have to work hard to pass the semester examination without the backlogs.
Other: More than 50 students get placed in different companies and more than 100 from B.Tech cleared the GATE examination. Our university organizes sports, fests, inter-university sports, games, events, kalrav, etc.

It has experienced faculty members.
Placements: The university has a placement cell, which helps students in their placement. Companies like CM Technology, Cafe Coffee Day, Prakash Infratech Solution, and many small companies visit the college for placements. The placement cell conducts many programs that help students enhance their personal development and industry knowledge.
Infrastructure: Our university has a large campus area which includes many departments, sports grounds, a park, library, computer center, etc. University has a Wi-Fi facility in every department. There is a central library for all students. The university has large classrooms and a full ventilation system. The university has 3 boys hostels and 3 girls hostels. University has a mess separately for girls and boys. The quality of the food served is good. There is a large playground and a large indoor stadium.
Faculty: The university has educated and experienced faculty members. Faculty members are fully focused on students' study and personal development. Teachers are helpful and supportive. University focuses on both theoretical and practical knowledge. Semester exams are fully relevant to industry knowledge and theoretical knowledge. The pass percentage is 75-80%.
Other: I will pass out in the 2018 batch from the mechanical engineering course. I have chosen this branch because of my interest. It is an evergreen branch. This course requires more industrial experience, so the university needs to develop its practical studying technique. University has a large auditorium where many events are held like cultural events, quiz competitions, convocation, etc. University provides scholarships for eligible students up to Rs. 50,000.

It is a university with better surroundings, infrastructure, helpful and supportive teachers.
Placements: Placements in our college are average. Small companies come for placements like CCD Manlift and many more. Placement cell is very supportive and helps students after completing college. Placement cells conduct many programs for the personal development of students and increase industry knowledge of the student.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is good. University covered a huge area and beautiful ample situated back of university on rocks. Every department has a Wi-Fi facility, good and large classrooms, and a huge central library situated in the center of the university. There are three hostels for boys and three hostels for girls with ventilation systems and mess facilities. The quality of food served is good and there is a medical clinic for students. University has a large playground and a large indoor game center. University has a special and big innovation center for advanced study.
Faculty: Faculty members of the university are very kind and helpful. They help students to overcome any problem related to studies. The teaching quality is moderate. There is both theoretical and practical knowledge given to students which helps students to perform at the industry level. Semester exam level is according to the industry level, and examinations are held under the proper supervision of faculty.
Other: I chose this course because I like mechanicals. This course is evergreen. For this course, practical knowledge is more required so the university has to improve their practical education. University has a huge auditorium where all the events held are like culture fest, quiz competitions, convocations, and many more. University provides scholarships for all students who are eligible up to Rs. 50,000.

Doing B.Tech/ B.E. through distance mode is not valid as per UGC guidelines. So never be pursue. AMIE, B.Tech lateral and part time regular are the best available options. Further Bundelkhand University is not offering distance B.Tech courses
