Placements: It is a good future course. Nowadays, textile and fashion industries are at their peak. Ramon, Aravind, and Gokuldas are recruiting. 50% for placing in good companies. HR and planner are roles in the course. Nowadays, textile and fashion industries offer high-value jobs and future prospects.
Infrastructure: Good classrooms and library, small sports area need improvement, poor Wi-Fi, bad canteen, food is not good. Better to change catering. Limited students and staff. Friendly librarians, events, and cultural programs are good. There are only two departments: Fashion Technology and MBA.
Faculty: Professors are good and friendly. 50% pass percentage required to pass. Teachers are very helpful, qualified professionals, and knowledgeable. Yes, the curriculum is relevant. Studies are conducive to current trends. Friendly guidance at an expert level. Happy to be part of this college.

MBA in Apparel Management - Batch of 2017
Offered by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textiles and Management

Good infrastructure, friendly faculty, lenient and average placements.
Placements: My batchmates were placed in reputed companies. 75% students were placed in my batch. The salary package ranges between 15000 to 30000. Vardhaman, Aditya Birla, NTC Mills, Synthesis, KPM Mills, SP Apparel, SCM, etc. If it is an apparel company, then the postings are like merchandiser, quality controller, HR, marketing manager and designer and if it is a mill, then it differs. There is a condition that every student must do the internship on the placed companies and if so not placed then placement cell offers internship companies. Though we are going as a trainee to the placed companies, mostly there is no stipend but some students are offered minimum 5000/month.
Infrastructure: Our college is a Wi-Fi campus and we have computer labs and textile labs are emerging but college doesn't give importance to sports and games. There are no medical facilities provided. We are blessed with smart classrooms and AC labs. Not so good food is provided in canteens and mess which is for hostel students. But hostel rooms and facilities are good. Though I am a day scholar, there are no issues I faced because of the food or any infrastructure.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members ate experienced, well-qualified and knowledgeable. We are blessed with friendly staff members. Projectors were used to train us and the ratio of student and faculty members are 10:10. Weekly once we were exposed to mills and companies. The course is useful.
Other: I request the students who are interested in joining in our college to refer all the details before you join. Our college doesn't provide valuable certificates. Still, it is under the process. So think before you join. I add our college had faced some issues like strikes because of this valuable certificates. So just collect information before you select our college and though it is a government college, the fee is less and there will be entrance exams but it is too easy. Based on marks you score the slot you fall will vary and fees vary. The timings are between 9 to 4 and weekly 2 Saturdays are provided with leave. We celebrate every festival. Mainly the college is not strict so the students can enjoy without tensed. The final year projects are important which speaks on your placements.

Facilities are good in this central government college.
Placements: Placements are good with some central government bodies like NHDC Ltd approaching for campus drive. Also some private firms like the following recruited students- 1. Loyal Textiles, 2. Madhura Clothing, 3. Jay Jay Mills, 4. RSG Inspection Services, 5. Intertek, and other Karur based home textile companies.
Infrastructure: Equipped with 24 hrs wifi facility throughout the college. The library is good with journals, e-subscriptions for the students. The quality of the food is good. Hostel facility is available for both boys and girls. Equipped with auditorium inside the campus. Hostel rooms are fine with wifi, washing machine facility etc.
Faculty: The faculty is having a good knowledge about the subjects. Some faculty members have industrial experience too and they share their industrial knowledge with the students. Trainings are given to students all the time. Case studies are also given for the students' improvement.
Other: Sports facilities available. Guest faculty available. Periodic industrial visits. Inter college functions. Practical experience with the factories in and around Coimbatore. Outbound training. One day visit to factories. Lab facilities available. Pan India ambience. Students from all over India studying.
