It is really good overall!

Placements: The college is good for placements, however, the job market just after COVID-19 was so lean that, in fact, the college was not able to bring in many companies for placements. Still, more than 90% of the batch got placed with decent packages and also a decent job role.

Infrastructure is quite good. Adequate facilities are available.

Placements: About 10-20% of students get placed in firms like TCS, Aakash Byjus, Federal Bank, Infosys, etc. Around 60% of students continue with higher studies as our course is research-oriented. The research conducted by students prepares them for competitive exams like GATE, NET, and other central government exams.

Central University of Tamil Nadu has a beautiful environment.

Placements: Many internship opportunities are provided in the last semester; there is only one industrial visit. In an internship, you have to do 45 and 45 days after 3 years, and you can do an internship on your own Also, projects are made by students at national level. From 7 semester you are eligible to sit in placements and in core branches placement is very good. So many companies visit here. 7.9 lpa in mechanical engineering is the average package and the highest is 17 lpa. All students who sit in pla...

CUTN - A mix of everything.

Placements: From economics, we had only 2 placed from a batch of 28 in Federal Bank with 12 LPA, but off-campus placement was pretty good. Alumni work in banks and companies like EY, etc. Many of them went for research and work as teaching assistants, research officers, etc., in various reputed institutions.

Madras School of Economics- a newcomer for Bachelor's.

Placements: Placements are not available in the school for the bachelor's, mostly due to the direction taken by the higher authorities involved in the course. They have a more academically inclined approach but encourage the students to look for opportunities elsewhere off campus.
