Dissatisfied with the college, it's not recommended to anyone.

Placements: Actually, CU scams students by saying 100% placement. Actually, the students with low grades are sent to non-TPP, and the leftover few students go for placement. The highest in-campus package is 45 LPA and the lowest is 4 LPA. The average is 6-7 LPA. IBM, TCS, Microsoft, etc. The internship is still not provided.

just come here if you don’t get any where else

Placements: Sales executives and managers and they take 5000 rupees for getting you placed and will let MBA and BBA students together to compete. What's the purpose if the company has to choose. They would definitely go to MBA side rather than any BCOM student or BBA.

Chandigarh University is worse I have ever experienced. It is a scam.

Placements: Around 20-25 percent of students get placements. The lowest package is 250,000, and the highest is 300,000 in BBA. Deloitte is recruiting, as the university said. No students got internships during the university graduation; students have to find them on their own.

The real review of Chandigarh University.

Placements: The placement is not too good, in my opinion, because they only say and advertise that we have some crores of the highest placements but in reality, only some people get placed that well, and it has an average placement package of 3.5 lacs in which 400 students get placed among 2000–3000 students.

Truth about Chandigarh university faculty members and its placements.

Placements: I am from 3rd year BE CSE (gaming and graphic). In CSE, a lot of students are placed, but that's just a small part of all students in CSE. There are 12000+ students in CSE, including both specializations and general. To sit in college placements, you have to take TPP and pay 10000 RS for TPP. Around 5000+ students took TPP, from which approximately 1000+ students are kind of serious in studies. When placements take place after filtering students from these 5000 TPP students, only 1000-1500 will ...

Over-Crowded campus with mediocre faculty.

Placements: For my current batch, out of 4500 students in CSE, only 700 students have been placed as of now and there are no companies coming for placements anymore. And on top of that most of the companies are coming to hire for sales and HR roles, offering just 4-5 LPA.

Placement is not good here. The NIRF ranking is purchased.

Placements: The placement is not good, with only 327 students being placed in 2023. I am currently in the 4th year, i.e., the 7th semester in 2023. The total number of students in our semester is 7000, but only 327 students are placed. Kindly consider choosing a government college instead of a private university.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty and bad placements.

Placements: They do provide placements to everyone but average package is around 3-4 lakh per annum. Google, and Microsoft come here but not for software developer role, but for other roles with maximum package of 8-9lpa. No internship is provided by the college. You have to do it on your own.

Absolutely dissatisfied with college. Came here with great hopes of exposure but didn't get any.

Placements: My batch is the first batch and I can assure you there is no placement for B.Sc. Students. Can't be sure of the package because the job is unsure. Top recruiters are CFSL's and FSL's. Almost everyone can get internship at government labs.

I would not recommend students to join this college.

Placements: Placements are average. Students are trained for mass recruitment. The average salary package offered ranges from 4 LPA - 5 LPA. The minimum salary package offered is 7 LPA. Few students got great salary packages in this course. Many students are stuck in mass recruitment only.

Chandigarh University is not worth it.

Placements: The minimum percentage required for students to sit for placements is 75% and above. The top recruiting company is Microsoft. I am in 3rd year now, and I didn't get an internship. The highest package offered to our seniors is 45 LPA, and the average package is 10 LPA.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the crowd.

Placements: Various roles are offered to the students. Around 93% of students got placed in this university but mostly in service-based companies. The highest package offered here is 52 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is 5 LPA in CSE. There are very few chances that you would get a scholarship here.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with the faculty, campus, facilities, and placements.

Placements: If you are taking admission to this college, then don't have any hope of getting placements. There is so much competition in this crowd that it gets tougher year by year, and not only that, but this university does a joint campus placement where students from CGC Landran and CGC Jhajharia also take part in the placement drive of this university, which increases competition even more. Many companies come here, but you are most likely to be placed with mass recruiting companies like Infosys, TCS, ...

Good college, worthy to join.

Placements: Our university has a decent placement. Most of the product-based companies visit the campus but they don't hire because of the student quality. Most companies are service-based and they give an average package of between 5-8 LPA and the remaining are mass recruiters.

Dissatisfied with the administration and hostel allotment.

Placements: The placements at Chandigarh University are quite average. The highest package offered in our university is 52 LPA, and the average package is 4-5 LPA. Since there are a lot of students in our university, around 70% of students got placed. Companies that visit our university are Google, Microsoft, Walmart, Wipro, TCS and many more.

Reality of Chandigarh University.

Placements: While we were told that placements would be offered during admission, they have declared that there won't be any for Bachelor students. They misled us. Teachers at higher levels occasionally don't cooperate. HOD is somewhat strict. We have to look for placements on our own .

I am dissatisfied with CU's timing, and our money is wasted. There is no placement.

Placements: They advertise everywhere that they provide the best placements, but when the 3rd year starts, they start enrolling students in the TTP batch in exchange for Rs. 15,000. You have to pay for sitting in placement drives, which they never say in tier ads.

Review of Chandigarh University (CU).

Placements: It is a bad college, and it does scam with students. They just print misinformation on their website, and the advertisement about placements is also fake. Our college just invites marketing companies and takes the credits of hardworking students. It doesn't care about academically average students.

Placements: Poor quality companies visit here for placements, and most of the companies are a fraud. Companies which provide internships are also not good. Companies offer low salary packages only. TNP department helps students to prepare for interviews, but good companies don't visit here.
