Okay college for a small feel.

Placements: MBA has mostly sales placements for CU. Other specializations don't usually have good placements. Also, most sales jobs are in the average of 3-6 Lacs (including incentives). But seeing the fields, the placements are good, I guess, because you don't need a CAT score to get into CU.

Not satisfied with my department.

Placements: No students were placed in my course as the Forensic Science department has no placement drive. Students can take internships from police stations, CFSL, and SFSL; they are government and free of cost. Forensic Science is a course where you don't get placements, so hoping for one after completing B.Sc. is a waste of time. Instead, one should focus on completing their Masters in Forensic Science.

Review about college life experience.

Placements: Placements are good and are organized by the DCPD department, which brings in companies that offer good packages to students. They ensure a 100% placement rate, but some students are still not placed. Not everyone secured a good package.

Placement and Hostel Review of Chandigarh University.

Placements: College offers decent placement. Most of the companies visit the college, but only a few are offering good packages, otherwise, all are mass recruiters like Wipro, TCS, etc. The highest package of 2024 is 54 Lacs, offered by Microsoft. If you want a good package, then you have to study hard.

Faculty members are good and cooperative.

Placements: Well, I am in the first year, so according to my knowledge, among 70-40 seniors are students placed, so the placement rate is 80%. Top role offers are HR, and 90% of students get placed in this company. The highest package is 50 Lacs and the lowest is 4 Lacs per annum.

Chandigarh University is good to enjoy and also study. Placements are not so good as they promise.

Placements: Placements for BBA are not so good. Many of our seniors got placed, but the majority did not. Those who did get placed didn't get the desired package. The average package for BBA was 3-4 LPA. There are many low-paying companies that come for placements, and very few MNCs for BBA. The most common jobs offered are for sales or calling.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty.

Placements: University offers good placement opportunities and even has a dedicated department just for career welfare and development. The highest package can go up to 50 Lacs per annum. Students who opt for Aptitude subjects are allowed for placement sittings, which cost 10,000 extra apart from the semester fees, but it is taken once in the whole course.

Chandigarh University Design Department Reality. Think Again...

Placements: There are around 170-180 students in our batch. When it comes to placements, we could say... placements? What’s that? The placement rate is very low. Out of 180 students, a maximum of 10 students were placed, with the highest package being only 7 LPA.

Chandigarh University: Cultural Unity or Caste Groupism?

Placements: I am currently in BE CSE 2nd year and it has been a horrible experience for me at Chandigarh University. Only 50 percent of the students were placed last year and my seniors are still struggling to find jobs even after having a good CGPA of 7.5 and above. Majorly the roles that are offered are of sales and HR , more in marketing than in the IT sector. Mainly mass recruitments are held here. There are barely any decent internship opportunities available. The students usually pass their time of th...

Good in teaching but for practicals have less instruments in lab

Placements: In BSC there is no placement in Chandigarh university. In my class on one is placed in any company. For internship they only send one email to the respective laboratories so only 2-3 students get internship but mostly students do not get internships.

Placements: Only 40% of the total strength got in campus placement due to crowds. The average package of CSE is 5-6 lakhs. The lowest package offered is 3 lakh, and the highest package offered is 13 lakh. Top recruiting companies of our course are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and HCL. About 50–60% of students secured internships. Students interned at companies such as Deloitte and Flipkart.

Placements: The placement here is a scam. We were all promised good placements in our fields, but all the roles are for Computer Science students, and we just get to sit in. We are not allowed to get internships from outside the college, and the college provides very few internship opportunities.

Dissatisfied by the management .

Placements: The placement cell is very focused on making students wear formal instead of bringing companies for placements. The average package of the course is around 4 lacs per annum. Internships start in the third year. I have seen people getting placements, but none of them had a technical post associated with them.

Review of Law department of Chandigarh University .

Placements: There are only 25-30 students who get placed in every batch from all departments, such as LL.B., B.A., LL.B., BBA LL.B., B.Com. LL.B, etc. B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) is very weak compared to the total strength of the university. The average package is listed about 5 Lacs in their website but I believe it to be comparatively less. Most students were placed in law firms in Chandigarh or Delhi. As for law department, the placement record is not so good.

I am dissatisfied because of the crowded campus and bad infrastructure.

Placements: Infosys and TCS are two major companies that come to campus and offer placements. They are mass recruiters. If students want internships, they have to maintain an 8 CGPA. It's hard to maintain a high CGPA in college because opportunities are limited and the number of students is very high. There are at least 8–10 thousand students in CSE, which may raise unnecessary competition.

Placements: In Chandigarh University, the percentage of students who get placed is not disclosed properly, but as far as seen, not many students get placed. Many students are tensed because of not getting placed in any company. I do not think every or even a few students get opportunities from the college to get internships.

Life at Chandigarh University.

Placements: So as of now, in last semester of my 3rd year, hardly 15 students got placements. The placements are have not met my expectations. I thought that in the last sem, when companies arrive here, they share a form and the college shares that form a with us, but the shortlisting to sit in the placements is done by college itself. I don’t know why they do not allow people to sit in the drive whose criteria is matching to the companies requirements. They basically share the list randomly. Till now, I di...
