I am somewhat satisfied with the facilities provided by the college.

Placements: In our batch, around 85% of the students got placed with the highest salary package of 80 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges from 6.5-7 LPA. Many MNCs and big companies like Google and Microsoft AWS visit the college for placements. Around 70% of students are easily able to get internships in various big and small companies.

Not recommended to academically oriented people but great to find yourself.

Placements: For psychology there arent any placements as we cannot work after Bachelors. We require atleast a Masters degree to be a junior psychologist. But for other degrees, yes there are placements and everyone gets paced but the package might be poor as they do not guarantee a good package just a job.

Not how I expected, very below.

Placements: I have just joined and am in the first year, but the seniors told me if we work hard and study well, we will surely get a nice placement with a great package. It's all about how much we pay attention to our study; that's all that matters, and my senior got into Flipkart and Amazon.

The environment is warm and gives us a chance to address the competition.

Placements: I am currently in my final year, and 600 students have been placed till now through campus selections. Top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, and Mu Sigma. Roles that can be seen as commonly offered are associate software developer, business manager, software development engineer, etc.

Overall college is good and the faculty is not experienced.

Placements: Placements are good. Companies visit our college for placements. The student strength is more than companies. Overall, it provides an opportunity at least to sit in 4-5 companies. The placement percentage in our college is 10-20%. They don't provide internships. You have to find on your own to get an internship for industry experience. Our college provides many courses. For me, MBBS is not available. I recommend computer science engineering at this college.

Chandigarh University is the university with most diversity of students.

Placements: I'm of the batch of 2024-2028 and my batch contains people from various states with various academic validations. College placements come under TPP and if all the criteria of placements are fulfilled then for sure placements will be provided for example above 70% in boards and no back or no supply and not detained. The highest salary package offered is 54 LPA and the average package offered is 7.5 LPA. Companies like IBM and Samsung also visit our campus.

Necessary information one needs to know before taking admission in Chandigarh University.

Placements: The highest salary package offered is 1.7 crore per annum, which is an off-campus placement offer. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiters are from Google, Microsoft, and JP Morgan. Internships are mostly preferred off-campus by students. Internships can be done last year only unless it's a golden package.

Placements: Placements in our college are very good. The DCPD department handles the placement cell. The highest salary package offered is 55 LPA and the average salary package offered is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, HCL, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Microsoft, and Amazon visit the campus for placements. The placement percentage is around 80%-90%.

It offers ample opportunities, but you must have talent to grab it.

Placements: As in our college, around 400 companies visit for the placements and have different criteria for selection. But the average selection rate is about 80%, and the average package is about 8 LPA. The highest packages in our university are about 20-25 LPA, and even the students are getting internships in our college in the 5th semester with a package of 8-10 LPA. The visited companies include Amazon, Microsoft, and Flipkart, and many facilities are there for female candidates too.

The highest placement is around 54 lakhs per annum, and the average is 8 lakhs per annum. Students start sitting for placements in their seventh semester.

Placements: The campus placements of the college have been decent so far, except in 2023 due to the recession. From the fourth year, students become eligible for placement, and several companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Accenture, and Adobe participate. The placement percentage was around 70% in 2023, but in previous years it has been above 90%. The highest package in 2023 was around 62 LPA.

University is defined by students and not the faculty members.

Placements: The college has a TPP course, which is a choice; without it, you are not allowed to sit in campus placement. In the 2024 batch, out of 2300, only 900-1000 got placed, and the average package was about 6 Lacs, with the highest being 45 Lacs, but it was for only one person of a thousand.

Placements: There are two categories of students in the course: first TPP and second non-TPP. Students who opted for TPP can only sit in placement drives. So from students who opted for TPP and have 7.5 CGPA, 80% of them get placed. More than 800 placement drives are organized and more than 7000 offers are offered. The average package is 5 - 6 Lacs and people with skills mostly get packages above 10 Lacs. Companies that visit campus are Bank of America, Motorola, IBM, etc. The lowest package offered is 3 La...

Campus life at Chandigarh University.

Placements: If you're doing B. Tech in ECE from Chandigarh University, then chances of you getting placed are low. Companies do come for ECE, but it's not that much compared to the CSE branch. College does provide companies for internships, but that is also in fewer numbers, so I must say to join CSE instead of ECE.

Placements: Placement opportunities are good here, but the crowd is very large, so you have to fight for good placements. The highest placement this year was around 53 LPA, with an average package of 7.5 LPA. If you have good skills, you can get very good placements here.

Placements: From the 7th semester, you will sit in the placement cycle. If I talk about this year, then companies like Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Chegg, Uber, McKinsey, etc. visited. Around 40-50 companies have visited till now. For the highest package, it's for Microsoft, and this year it's 53 lacs. And the average package for software companies is around 12 lacs. Placements: 70% placement, 60,000 average, 2 Lac the highest, 10 to 15 Lac developed: Graphics Designer, etc. The course was good and very valuable for money. There should work on your experience, and you can join companies by your experience, skills, and knowledge. The course offered good offers for that.
