STRONG ACADEMICS FACILITIES, BUT PLACEMENT NEED IMPROVEMENT AT G.H. PATEL COLLEGE OF ENG & TECH.
Placements: If I am talking about the course, the course is outstanding. They made the course in this way that it covers all areas of your skill set. If I am talking about the placement cell this year, in 2024-25, 10 companies visited our campus and placed 18 students. The highest package is 7.00 LPA, and the average package is 4.40 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities: Study table is provided. 24-hour hot water supply and water available. Mess food is also good in taste, and every 15 days, there will be a fest on Sunday. Wi-Fi connection in hostel rooms. Infrastructure available for my department (Information Technology): Smart boards in classrooms. Wi-Fi in labs and campus. Library is also available on our campus. Auditorium is also available.
Faculty: Faculty is also nice and helps us to solve complex codes. They are qualified and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality of the teachers is good. Not all of them, but quite a few are the best. The course curriculum is also excellent and makes students industry-ready because they made the course in this way, providing knowledge to students in all areas of life and preparing students for the industry.

Strong Academics, But Placement Needs Improvement at G.H. Patel College of Engineering & Technology.
Placements: If I am talking about the course, the course is outstanding. They made the course in this way that it covers all areas in your skill set. If I am talking about the placement cell for this year, in 2024-25, 10 companies visited our campus, placed 18 students, and the highest package was 7.12 LPA, the average package was 4.50 LPA, and the lowest package was 3.00 LPA. The top recruiting company was GNWebSoft Pvt. Ltd. Internship data they can't expose to us. The top roles offered are software engineering roles.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure available for my department (computer engineering): Smart board in classrooms. Wi-Fi in labs and campus. Library is also available on our campus. Auditorium is also available. There is no sports ground available in the college. Garden is also there. Canteen quality is average. Hostel facilities: Study table provided. 24-hour hot water supply, and water and electricity are also available. Mess food is also good in taste, and every 15 days, there will be a fest on Sunday. Wi-Fi connection in hostel rooms is also available.
Faculty: Faculty is also nice and helps us to solve complex code. They are qualified, knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is good. Not all of them, but quite a few are the best. The course curriculum is also excellent and makes students industry-ready because they made the course in this way that it provides knowledge to students in all areas of life. The semester exam level is moderate, with a pass percentage of 90%. Only 4 or 5 students fail.
Other: I chose this course because I am an enthusiastic student who loves technology and wants to build a career in this field. The best thing in my course is proving yourself at the world level. They give me the opportunity to prove myself. The thing I wish would be better in my course is that students must have a skill set and not run for placement but run for skills. Events: Yugantar Festival. The campus crowd is also nice, and connectivity is good. The surrounding environment is also nice. If I am talking about extracurricular activities, in my field, it's the Teach Fest, e.g., (Codvie10.O).

Design students' diaries.
Placements: There is a class of 90, and 70% of students are getting placed. The lowest package is 1.6 LPA, the highest is 25 LPA, and the average salary is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters include Tatva Soft, Agrusoft, Reliance, and Adani. Students are getting internships in back-end, front-end, and software development.
Infrastructure: The lab consists of AC and Wi-Fi, with each computer having an i7 processor. Classrooms are equipped with smartboards and green boards. The library has a wide range of books and many research papers. Hostels are provided with rooms that include a table, chair, cupboard, and attached bathroom.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful and treat us like family. All teachers are highly experienced and qualified. The course is relevant and connects us with the real world, providing real-world applications. Exams are conducted twice a year, and the difficulty level is medium.
Other: My batch has highly meritorious students. This course is best according to merit, and this college fits well with the cutoff. Fests are amazing; the biggest event of the college, and many events occur frequently.

Need to improve hostels and some faculty members.
Placements: There are some very good companies that visit our college, like TCS, Royal Enfield, Infosys, Adani Power, etc. The average package of our college is around 3,20,000 per year, and the highest package was 12,00,000. Our college offers various internship opportunities through its dedicated placement and internship cell. While specific details about companies, roles, stipend, projects, and outcome may vary annually.
Infrastructure: The new hostels are good, but the old ones are just okay. The food is mediocre, not very bad. Some of our hangout spots are Laxmi Tea Point, Kheteswar, and a tree on our campus, but the campus is in a very rural area. We have to go about 4-5 kilometers for food and entertainment outside college. Not much nightlife if you live in the college hostel. Our college has a huge sports complex too. The labs are equipped with good tech.
Faculty: There are good faculty members in our college, but some of our faculty members lack teaching skills. We have some faculty members who have completed their education from IIT. There are two exams per semester: mid-sems and externals. Exam levels are moderate. I don't like the attitude of some teachers.
Other: I was interested in Information Technology from the beginning. Although our college has very good labs for students to learn and improve their skills and new languages, the curriculum includes important subjects like Data Structures, which are necessary for some job opportunities. Prarambh and Yugantar are the annual fests of our college, and many events and hackathons are organized in our college.

Everything about AD Patel Institute of Technology.
Placements: Placement in my course is average. The highest placement currently is 20 LPA, and the lowest is maybe around 3 LPA. The average package is 6-7 LPA, and around 60-80% of students get placed. Many recruiting companies come for placement grounds, but not many big companies like Google or Microsoft. For big companies, students have to apply for offcampus placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Every classroom is well occupied with smartboards and air ventilation. Normal benches are provided. Wi-Fi facilities are there in labs but not in classrooms. Hostel accommodation is good, and mess is included in hostel fees, which are 55,000 per year for a normal room and 70,000 for AC rooms. Campus is also big and green.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified as well as well experienced. Many teachers have experience of more than 20 years. They know their subject very well and help students willing to learn and grow. Though there are few teachers who are strict and not very friendly, overall its good. The curriculum is well organised and followed by the college. There are 2 exams per semester, 1 midterm and 1 endterm exam, which are basically internal and external exams.
Other: I chose this course as it offers more knowledge towards the software side. It comprises all main subjects for B. Teach degree and to become an IT professional. Also, the college has many events, clubs, celebrations, and concerts, giving a beautiful college life.

Dissatisfied because of behaviour among students.
Placements: Only about sixty students were placed this year among three hundred who sat for it. The packages provided are not up to par after completing four tough engineering years and studying this much. The average package is about 3 LPA, and the highest till now was 6.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The sports complex is the best thing here. Two underground levels is an insane thing for infrastructure. The campus is green too, and it also has a gym. It has a football ground, basketball ground, volleyball ground, and much more. Overall, the infrastructure is good, but the hostel mess is horrible.
Faculty: The curriculum and exams are not that hard as they do not follow the GTU pattern, but if they did, the students here would most likely fail. So, it is not their fault, too, and people here have just gotten admission with 50% in class 12. The faculty members are good, but there is one sir who just wants his ego to win.
