Gujarat NEET Counselling 2024: Round-3 Merit List (Out), Dates, Seat Allotment

The counselling of Gujarat NEET is not only conducted for admission to MBBS and BDS courses. ACPUGMEC conducts the admission process for various other courses through Gujarat NEET counselling, they are:

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
• Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
• Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS)

Candidates who meet the parameters given below can apply for the Gujarat NEET 2024 counselling:

• They must be a citizen of India
• They must have qualified NEET 2024
• They must have passed Class 10 and Class 12 from
  • The Gujarat board, or
  • A CBSE board school located in the state of Gujarat
  • An ISCE board school located in the state of Gujarat

Candidates who wish to attend the counselling of Gujarat NEET 2024 need to carry the following documents in original for verification. Self-attested copies of the same documents have to be submitted with the application form of Gujarat NEET counselling 2024.

• Class 10 mark sheet
• Class 12 mark sheet
• NEET result 2024
• School Leaving Certificate/ Transfer Certificate
• Caste Certificate (for SC/ ST/ SEBC candidates)
• Non-creamy Layer (NCL) Certificate
• Certificate of Physical Disability (if applicable)
• Certificate of local candidate from the Dean of NHLMMC (Ahmedabad) or SMIMER (Surat)
• Documentary evidence of NRI status (if applicable)

To participate in the admission process for Gujarat MBBS seats, a candidate needs to register on the official website of ACPUGMEC, medadmgujarat.org. However, the registration process can begin only after they purchase a PIN by paying INR 200 online. After completing the registration process, candidates will have to report to the nearest help centre for document verification. Eligible candidates will have to fill in their choices/preferences online and participate in the seat allotment process. The process of ACPUGMEC Gujarat NEET counselling is elaborated on below.

Registration

• Candidates who wish to apply for the counselling of Gujarat NEET 2024 have to register themselves on the official website, medadmgujarat.org
• To complete the registration, they will have to complete the application form and submit a registration fee

Preparation of Merit list

• The competent authority will prepare a merit list based on the ranks of the candidates who applied for Gujarat NEET counselling 2024
• This merit list will be uploaded on the official website and will be accessible to all

Choice filling

• Candidates whose name appears in the merit list of Gujarat NEET 2024 counselling have to log in to their registered accounts
• After logging into their accounts, they need to indicate their choices (courses/ colleges) in the desired order of preference
• They can choose as many colleges as he/ she desires
• The choices can be moved up or down in the list and can be added or deleted from the list
• After filling in the choices, the candidate must keep a copy of the filled-in choices for future reference
• Finally, they must lock and submit the choices

Allocation of seat

• The seats will be allocated based on the merit of the candidates and the choices filled by them
• The result of Gujarat NEET counselling 2024 or seat allocation list will be uploaded online

Reporting to the allocated institute

The candidate who has been allocated a seat in the counselling of Gujarat NEET 2024 needs to report to the allocated institute for the verification of documents and confirmation of the seat. The candidates who fail to report to the institute within the stipulated time, their candidature will be forfeited.
