Offered by G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology, CVM University

GH Patel College of Engineering and Technology provides good education and overall growth.
Placements: Our college provides good placements. Over 500 students got placed in 2021. The highest package offered was 12 LPA, and the minimum package was 2 LPA. Infosys is one the top recruiting companies, which recruit most of the students. Almost 80% of our students got internships from our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our course is completely valuable, which helps in all the industries. Labs are good and have all the equipment required for experiments. The classrooms are good, well-designed and also have digital whiteboards to teach the students on projectors. The library is full of books, and all types of books are available. Hostel facilities are good.
Faculty: All the teachers are helpful and qualified. They give their best knowledge to the students. The teaching quality is very good. In the final year, the students are ready to gain industry experience. Semester exams in this college are moderate.

It provides very good teaching. Teachers are well qualified, and the infrastructure is moderate.
Placements: About 70% of the students got placed from our course. The average salary package offered is 3.6 LPA. Infosys, Atul, Torrent Power, GFL, TCS, Quanta, Atlanta Electricals and many more companies visit here to recruit students as graduate engineer trainees and assistant engineers. Maintenance engineer, power engineer and senior electrical engineer roles are offered here.
Infrastructure: There are poor facilities for hostel and mess here. There is no Wi-Fi, and the infrastructure is also not good. Our college is not very huge, and sports are not promoted much. However, the library is well-equipped with books, and there are books for every subject for us.
Faculty: Teachers here are very good, and their teaching is best. They all are PhD holders, and their way of teaching is nice. Teachers like their students, and many of them allow students to call and solve their doubts. The course contains industrial exposure, and semester exams are moderately tough. Difficulty questions are asked in exams.

Review of G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: As far as the electrical department undergraduate course is concerned, every student who wants to get placements will get placed in companies like L&T, Torrent, TBEA, etc. Companies like Infosys, etc., also visit the campus for placements. A lot of students also opt for higher studies as better coaching is available for GATE, CAT and higher studies at abroad at VVN.
Infrastructure: The hostel is compulsorily available only for first-year students. You can leave the hostel in the second year if you want as there are various options in VVN. Our campus is good, and it has a separate building for the computer lab, civil and mechatronics departments. Various labs are available.
Faculty: As far as the electrical department is concerned, All the faculty members are really good. Professors are supportive. Our college will also assign a mentor to you who would help you in need. Lots of professors in the electrical department did M.Tech and PhD from IITs. HOD has written a book for TATA McGrew-Hill as well.

I am satisfied with the good teaching quality.
Placements: Students with a high percentage in academics only get admission in this college. The highest salary package offered is 18 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Adani visit our campus for placements. Top roles, like a manager and general manager, are offered to the students.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is very good, but the only problem is the water supply. Sometimes water supply is not available. Wi-Fi facility is not working properly. I do not stay at the hostel. I have my private home, but I heard from my friends that the hostel facility is good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are good with students. They help them regarding studies and in other personal difficulties. I am an electrical student, and I got perfect teachers. They help us to get more knowledge, not only theoretical but practical knowledge also. This college has the best teachers.

One can gain a lot of knowledge from this college.
Placements: From our batch 2018-19, a total of 256 students were placed. From the electrical branch, a total of 25 students were placed. The highest placements were achieved by the computer and information technology branch as a total of 65 students from CSE branch and 50 students from the IT branch were placed. From our senior batch of 2017-18, a total of 322 students got placed, and the average package offered to them was 3 to 4 LPA. You can check all the data in our college website, www.gcet.ac.in. You can go to the placement record on the website to know the placement details.
Infrastructure: Classrooms in our college are like school ones, but projector facilities are available. There are no smart boards. The college has an internet lab, and students can use it on their laptop. The usage limit is only 2GB per month, and if you want to use more internet, you will have to pay extra money. A sports room is available. The library is good, but the reading room is not much good to read because of the noise there. The canteen is small, and you will not get a variety of foods. Hostel rooms are average, and the food is not much good. The first year students should compulsory stay in the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and helpful. Faculty members in the electrical branch are like family for me. Everyone was very polite and helpful. The teaching method is good as an average student can also easily adapt it. We have visited very good sites. Extra activities were very helpful to me. Overall, you will enjoy being part of our college.
Other: Many events are organised by our college. The management will help the students in organising the events. Our college organises the biggest event called Imaze for 3 days every year. You will learn many things. The college has many groups run by faculty and students like IEEE, ISTE etc. This is very helpful for students to improve their technical knowledge.
