B.Tech in Information Technology - Batch of 2028
Offered by A D Patel Institute of Technology, CVM University

Everything about AD Patel Institute of Technology.
Placements: Placement in my course is average. The highest placement currently is 20 LPA, and the lowest is maybe around 3 LPA. The average package is 6-7 LPA, and around 60-80% of students get placed. Many recruiting companies come for placement grounds, but not many big companies like Google or Microsoft. For big companies, students have to apply for offcampus placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Every classroom is well occupied with smartboards and air ventilation. Normal benches are provided. Wi-Fi facilities are there in labs but not in classrooms. Hostel accommodation is good, and mess is included in hostel fees, which are 55,000 per year for a normal room and 70,000 for AC rooms. Campus is also big and green.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified as well as well experienced. Many teachers have experience of more than 20 years. They know their subject very well and help students willing to learn and grow. Though there are few teachers who are strict and not very friendly, overall its good. The curriculum is well organised and followed by the college. There are 2 exams per semester, 1 midterm and 1 endterm exam, which are basically internal and external exams.
Other: I chose this course as it offers more knowledge towards the software side. It comprises all main subjects for B. Teach degree and to become an IT professional. Also, the college has many events, clubs, celebrations, and concerts, giving a beautiful college life.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Design - Batch of 2027
Offered by A D Patel Institute of Technology, CVM University

Good sports and cultural events.
Placements: Around 100-110 students got placed last year in 2023 in IT companies; this data I got to know from one of my senior friends who also got placed last year. The average package offered here is around 3 to 4 LPA. The top recruiters here are Horizontal and Gateway.
Infrastructure: In my course the facilities are decent. In college, IT and CSD labs are very rich in facilities and with good infrastructure. Wi-Fi facilities are too good; the speed is also good and consistent. Hostel facilities and infrastructure are good; the only bad thing is the food of the boys mess; I don't like the food at all.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful to all the students. Teachers are also qualified to teach the particular course properly. The course curriculum is not so good, I think, because it will not properly help the student to get industry ready. Semester exam levels are not so difficult and not too easy; if the student has attended all the lectures properly, then he/she can make good scores in those exams.
Other: The course I choose is Computer Science and Design because I love to work on computers, and I thought I could get better opportunities in this course. The course curriculum should get proper and better to get students industry-ready. I think there should be more industrial visits for students. Events like sports and cultural events make this college more special, as there are a number of events throughout the assessment year. Good scholarship opportunities for students are also available.

Design students' diaries.
Placements: There is a class of 90, and 70% of students are getting placed. The lowest package is 1.6 LPA, the highest is 25 LPA, and the average salary is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters include Tatva Soft, Agrusoft, Reliance, and Adani. Students are getting internships in back-end, front-end, and software development.
Infrastructure: The lab consists of AC and Wi-Fi, with each computer having an i7 processor. Classrooms are equipped with smartboards and green boards. The library has a wide range of books and many research papers. Hostels are provided with rooms that include a table, chair, cupboard, and attached bathroom.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful and treat us like family. All teachers are highly experienced and qualified. The course is relevant and connects us with the real world, providing real-world applications. Exams are conducted twice a year, and the difficulty level is medium.
Other: My batch has highly meritorious students. This course is best according to merit, and this college fits well with the cutoff. Fests are amazing; the biggest event of the college, and many events occur frequently.

B.Tech in Mechatronics Engineering - Batch of 2025

Comprehensive Review of Academics, Facilities, and Campus Life.
Placements: Around 70-80% of students get placed each year. Top recruiting companies for mechatronics students are FANUC and RELIANCE, with average offerings of 6 LPA. The highest package offered in the previous batch was 8 LPA, and the lowest was around 5 LPA. All my batchmates got internships.
Infrastructure: The department is excellent, being NBA-accredited with modern infrastructure. Labs are equipped with the latest technology. Classrooms feature smart boards and projectors, enhancing learning. Though Wi-Fi is absent on campus, the library is impressive, allowing up to 5 book issues. The hostel, recently renovated, offers unlimited Wi-Fi (low speed) and top-notch amenities, but the mess food is poor. Facilities like IDEA LABS, 3D printing, and robotics labs make the department ideal for projects.
Faculty: The faculty is highly qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive, ensuring excellent teaching quality. The course curriculum is well-structured and industry-oriented, providing students with practical skills and knowledge. Semester exams are moderately challenging, with a high pass percentage due to effective preparation.
Other: Various tech and non-tech events are organized. Different types of scholarships are also available. The scope for extracurricular activities is moderate, but NCC and sports clubs are available.

BVA in Painting - Batch of 2025
Offered by CVM College of Fine Arts, CVM University

Sacred journey towards art.
Placements: In painting, as a field, we don't have placements, but in applied arts, campus placement happens, and there are many companies coming to hire. It happens in mid-March every year. The companies come from all over Gujarat, such as Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Vapi, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is vintage, with paintings everywhere, including the ceilings. We have good easels, tables, and classrooms. The course has 4 practical subjects and 4 theory subjects. Subjects are different every year, as after a year, we have to study something more detailed.
Faculty: The faculty is good, but in the end, we have to do it by ourselves. The faculty helps us to understand, but as artists, it's our own responsibility to put all that knowledge into the canvas. Exams are easy, as we have questions related to painting and artists.
Other: It is good to be here in Anand, Gujarat. This experience will make you good, and you should do it. College students are also good; as all of us are artists, we have a very different thinking process, but still, we like to be with each other.

Dissatisfied because of behaviour among students.
Placements: Only about sixty students were placed this year among three hundred who sat for it. The packages provided are not up to par after completing four tough engineering years and studying this much. The average package is about 3 LPA, and the highest till now was 6.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The sports complex is the best thing here. Two underground levels is an insane thing for infrastructure. The campus is green too, and it also has a gym. It has a football ground, basketball ground, volleyball ground, and much more. Overall, the infrastructure is good, but the hostel mess is horrible.
Faculty: The curriculum and exams are not that hard as they do not follow the GTU pattern, but if they did, the students here would most likely fail. So, it is not their fault, too, and people here have just gotten admission with 50% in class 12. The faculty members are good, but there is one sir who just wants his ego to win.
