B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2025
1.6
2Placements1Infrastructure3Faculty1Crowd & Campus Life1Value for Money
I am dissatisfied because of poor faculty and improper labs for B.Tech Mechanical.
Placements: The percentage of students placed is 30-40%. The highest package offered was 7 LPA. No good companies come to offer placements to mechanical, civil and mechatronics students. As per what I know, our teacher eventually helps and provides certain job opportunities for the remand nai h students with a package worth 2.5-3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is improving nowadays because new students are taking admissions, so they’re doing something, otherwise they don't even have proper labs for mechanical students and no proper classes are conducted. There is not enough faculty for the mechanical branch. The students want placements and good classrooms with all the benefits, but there is nothing of that sort here.
Faculty: Some of the teachers have good knowledge while the rest are average or even below average. This needs to be improved because it is not enough value for the amount of fee we pay to the college for our course. The labs are in the worst of conditions, no proper lab classes are conducted for us as there is no proper facility.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in machinery parts, but the only wrong decision I took was to get enrolled in this college. I was too late as I completed my Diploma from Mangalore which was delayed because of covid and so I was not able to get admission in the other colleges. This college gave admission to everyone because there are not many students here.

B.A. (Hons.) in Psychology - Batch of 2026
4.2
4Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Overall, everything is pretty good; the college is still growing and has made improvements.
Placements: The recent batch of students is quite large. In my batch, there were comparatively fewer admissions because of my subject (psychology), as not many students opt for it. After B.A., there is no package offered, as no companies recruit B.A. students; at least a master's degree is needed. For B.A. students, we have our internship in the 6th semester at Thane Government Hospital, where we gain work experience. We need to pay an amount for it, but the experience is worth it. M.A. students have a similar internship at a different hospital. Studying psychology offers various occupational options, such as becoming a teacher, psychologist, psychiatrist, counselor, child psychologist, forensic psychologist, and more.
Infrastructure: Each batch has its respective college, with individual professors for each subject. It is well-staffed and has improved a lot compared to last year. We have access to the library, where each student can borrow two books for a week, and they can be reissued the following week, free of cost. The psychology lab is well-equipped, and practicals are held almost every week, with every student participating. The hostel provides all the basic facilities like bookshelves, cupboards, pillows, buckets, study tables, and the rooms are cleaned every day, with private washrooms and bathrooms that are cleaned weekly. The hostel food is better than what I have experienced elsewhere; meals are well-balanced, with no restrictions on food consumption. The mess provides food four times a day, which is quite sufficient. The canteen food is also affordable. In case of medical emergencies, the warden takes us to the nearest clinic or hospital, and for minor illnesses like colds, the warden provides medicines. Sports and games are held frequently, with no restrictions, allowing anyone to join as they like.
Faculty: My professors are knowledgeable and interactive, which makes us feel more comfortable and improves our study patterns. They are well-qualified, and their teaching is really helpful. We are taught about life experiences, and the course curriculum is well-planned and executed. Internships prepare us for the following years and provide good examples of what we'll handle in the future. The semester exams are difficult if you don't study, but if you are well-prepared, it's manageable. The passing percentage is around 35%.
Other: I chose the course in psychology because I have always been interested in it, and I wanted to help people in one way or another. The best thing about psychology is that, while other courses focus on bookish language and theory, in psychology, you learn about people and think about what is wrong and right. I wish we had more daily shopping complexes near the college so that it would be easier for the hostellers. Our college hosts an event called "Aarambh," which is a well-celebrated occasion where celebrities are invited. I have personally seen Chunky Panday and Ameesha Patel there. The event overall was very fun and well organized. You receive a scholarship if you score nearly 9 CGPA or above that. Our college encourages extracurricular activities and motivates students to participate, as we have our own college band and music department where students are taught how to play musical instruments and sing free of cost. The college also provides us with a gym at no cost.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) - Batch of 2020

3Placements3Infrastructure3Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
College is not that much good which is show a website.
Placements: 60% of students got placements in my course. The highest salary was 4.3 LPA, the average salary was 2 LPA, & the lowest salary was 1.3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Airtel, Jio, TCS, Infosys etc. The top Roles offered were Business Development. 30% of students got internships in companies.
Infrastructure: The college has well Wi-Fi facilities, well-structured labs, a library, and well-equipped classrooms. The college has hostel facilities, a mess & canteen, medical facilities, sports and games etc. Hostels are safe for students and canteen food is healthy for students.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable but their teaching quality is not that much good. Obviously, this course is curriculum-relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams in my college is not tough and college UGC approved.
Other: It is my dream course that's why I choose for my career growth.

Campus life: Some students say that college life is a mix of.
Placements: The infrastructure of a college plays a vital role in the development of the college as the students are now focusing on the labs, classrooms, etc. While selecting a college, it is important that the colleges have very good infrastructure with advanced laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. Here are some things you can include in an essay about your batch and course: activities you did with your friends, such as traveling, having new experiences, or playing games. You can describe the canteen as a hub where you and your friends would eat and chat. You can describe the excitement and buzz that the annual fest created among students. You can describe your participation in extracurricular activities like sports tournaments, dancing, singing, speech, elocution, and debate. You can describe a book club you started and how it thrived.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of a college plays a vital role in the development of the college as the students are now focusing on the labs, classrooms, etc. While selecting a college, it is important that the colleges have very good infrastructure with advanced laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art equipment.
Faculty: Placements are good, faculty are awesome, and the campus provides a good environment for students. Everyone is so friendly with each other. All the students are cooperative and supportive. What I like the most about this college is the big campus and their vision of being the best institution of choice.
Other: Highlight your strengths. Think about mentioning how your abilities align with the subject of the course. Focus on your unique strengths that contribute to your success in the course, and discuss the skills you hope to further develop through the course.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) - Batch of 2026

The college which care about Our Money.
Placements: I don't have my personal expertise in this, but still, one of my friends who graduated from CSMU got the package of 33 LPA. Tata Consultancy, Google. Around 60–70% of students get selected by the company's, but of course personal performance and good academics matter.
Infrastructure: There are two types of rooms: non-AC and AC. The price varies up to 1.25 lakh per semester with mess meals, but I still personally recommend consulting with the college itself. Infrastructure is quite big, and they are extending it even further, and with the upcoming years, it will be giving competition to Amity's panel infrastructure.
Faculty: Professors are great; they are friendly and help us through the academics. There are many activities conducted on a monthly basis that come out with pretty good outcomes. The professors out there are really stubborn and want to make you work on yourself for a better future.
Other: Crowd: I don't like it personally. I hate the crowd over there. The types of people I have seen and observed there are those who are mostly focused on materialistic things with no purpose in there lives. Only a few students will have good qualities. CSMU students get scholarships. My feels cost up to 75,000 per semester, and for this year I have paid like 50,000, which is a pretty good advantage for students.

This colleges overall infrastructure is below avg, the crowd is the biggest drawback here.
Placements: 1) I have not known yet so far about the placement, but it's kind of poor here. 2)The highest is like 12 LPA, and I don’t know about the lowest package offered here. The average package should be around 6 to 9 LPA. 3) Some 300 companies are said to recruit, but I have never heard of good placements. 4) I’m still in the 2nd year, so I have no idea. I’m sorry. 5) Learning from the seniors, overall the placement here is not that good.
Infrastructure: 1) Overall, the infrastructure is good and appreciable. They have Wi-Fi and labs too. However, the frequent power outages from the source make it difficult. 2) I haven't opted for hostel service but learned from the students that the hostel, mess, and washing machine services are okay. We have many eateries within the college, but there is no medical service, I guess, within. For sports, we have a huge ground, and often there are sports events.
Faculty: 1) The teachers are well-qualified and experts in their subject, no doubt; they clear the doubts well. Overall, it's good. 2) The course curriculum is similar to the Mumbai University curriculum; overall, it’s good. 3) The exams are easy if you study and attend the classes. The invigilation is quite strict.
Other: 1) My father forced me into engineering, so I have no personal interest in this course, but I have learned several things in the course. I suggest opting for engineering if you are passionate about it; only then is it going to work out for you. The best thing is the practical labs here. 2) The frequent power outages should be fixed. The classes get disrupted for me. Personally, I have weak heat tolerance. One thing that can be improved is the crowd at the college; they are quite less educated and well-behaved. They are counted in the so-called "chappri" population of the college. 3) There were several fests and events. Several events started in the probe. We had a huge freshers' event, and Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel was invited, along with some other local Marathi celebrities. There was also a sports day held, and it was quite a huge event too.
