Placements: The placement starts from the second year onwards. Before placements, there is an orientation session. 50% of the students are placed in my course. The average salary is 6 lacs to 8 lacs. The top recruiting companies are KPMG, Deloitte, etc. The top job role is data analyst.
Placements: Christ College provides good opportunities for on-campus placement in the department of design. Many design companies visit colleges for campus hiring. TCS and HCL are the top recruiters at the college. Amazon offers the highest package at INR 26 LPA.
Placements: The MA in Media (MAMCS) offers two specializations—Multimedia Journalism and Advertising and Corporate Communication. As a student of the latter, I have had a mixed experience. Unfortunately, despite the autonomy of the Department of Media Studies, the Central Administration interferes a lot, and as a result, our placements are substandard.
Placements: Few students opt for placements as they prefer higher studies. Few students got placed in top companies. Top roles offered are technical writer and content writer. Top recruiting companies are Oracle, Accenture, etc.
Placements: 35-40% of the students got placed. The highest package was in between 35000 to 40,000 per month. Everyone got internship in well reputed think tanks, risk analysis firms. The role varies from teaching, research interns, risk analyst and the communication managers.
Placements: Our placements are still ongoing while I am writing this review. The companies that've come for placements so far include Bosch, Mavericks, Joyride, Tata, etc. All the companies have had pre-placement talks and also given us detailed information on the job description and what their expectations are from us. The maximum package that we've received so far is 10 LPA, with the lowest being 3.8 LPA.
Placements: Around 75 to 80% of the students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 13 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The average salary package offered was 6 LPA. KPMG, Ernst & Young, Accenture, ICICI Bank, Axxela, Aspire Systems, Brain Capability Network are the companies in which students got internships. Management catalyst, brand manager, cloud consultant, etc., are the roles offered.
Placements: 98% of my batchmates got placed. The highest package offered was 9L-13Lpa, the lowest would be 3Lpa and the average being 5-6Lpa. Cisco, IBM, SAP, are the top recruiters. 100% of students got internships across various media domains. Top Roles offered is for Corporate communications.
Placements: About 75% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA and the average salary package offered was 3 LPA. Vedanta and Viacom were the top recruiters for our course. Almost 100% of the students got internships. PR executive was the top role offered here. Viacom also hired students for camera roles.
Placements: Since, most of the students look forward to pursue higher education and earn a doctorate degree, there are very few students who enroll for the placements. The students are offered placements in the field of content writing, editing, advertisement, content creation and also in the field of media. The minimum salary offered is 3 lacs per annum and maximum goes upto 8 lacs per annum.
Placements: We don't have 100% placement for our department. Hardly 20% of the students get jobs through placement cell. Moreover it is not a big problem since the Christ tag has alot of values. The highest average package offered to students are 50k. Also, internships are an important part of our course. It is compulsory and every students have to do an internship in the month of April or May.
Placements: About 75-80% of students in our course got placed. Companies like IBM, Wipro, Cisco, etc., visit our campus for placements. The starting salary package offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. Almost 100% of students get an internship in several schools, MNCs and most importantly in reputed media houses like The Hindu, India Today, etc.
Placements: I don't know about the percentage of placements in college. The highest package offered is 8 LPA and the lowest package offered is 2.5 LPA. The lowest package is as per the datasheet I have seen until now. Top recruiting companies are Aruba Networks, Amazon, SysCloud Technologies, Epicor and Cure Fit. Top roles offered are technical writer, content writer, editor and teacher. The highest package offered in our course is 8 LPA, the lowest package offered in our course is 2.5 LPA, and the average ...
Placements: Almost all the students got placed in the companies, which they applied for. The salary package offered is range from 1.5 LPA to 15 LPA. Accenture, Dell and IBM are the top recruiters. Editor, content creator, teacher and content writer are the top roles offered. The average salary package is range from 4-7 LPA. Almost100% of the students got internships as it is mandatary in the course. Companies interned students as major newspaper journals, publishers, etc.
Placements: Placements are provided in the college. Companies like ANSR Source, Thomson Reuters, IBM, Ernst & Young, Deloitte, visit the campus for placements. Some teaching positions in higher secondary private schools were offered in 2016 and a few years before. Whoever is good enough in extracurricular activities with good academic record generally stands a chance to get placed.
Placements: The placement process is quite efficient in Christ University although it varies based on the course you have enrolled in. Particularly talking about Masters in Education, the placement offers and options could be better and increase in number to offer more options and 100% placements to the students.
Placements: Being a final year student for M.A. I can say that not many opportunities are available to us. There is not a fixed placement cell and the students really have a hard time in finding feasible job opportunities. Most of us try to find a job in Mumbai and in content writing position.
Placements: The placements usually take place in the month of January. For our seniors, placements went quite well as many of them got placed in good companies. Be it PR, events, newspaper or advertising, most of them got in. I cannot say about the salary, though. When we speak to our seniors, most of them seem very satisfied with their jobs and seem to be enjoying it.
Placements: Most of them were placed with a range of average and good salaries. IBM selected a lot of students but it is not exciting being a technical content writer for a company. People chose it for the pay. Most students are into public relation, corporate communications, event management and client servicing. I doubt anybody has taken up hardcore political or social journalism. Internships are for the students to search for themselves
Placements: The placement opportunities are ample enough and satisfactory. The reputed companies come for placements with a good salary package and get placed. Students get an opportunity for an internship in great companies. Name of the institute adds weight to the profile.
