What is CMRUAT?
CMR University Admission Test (CMRUAT) entrance examination is conducted by CMR University, Karnataka. This is a national level exam conducted every year for admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. CMRUAT 2020 entrance exam is conducted for admission to BTech, MBA and law programmes offered by the CMR University.
The registration process for CMRUAT 2020 is ongoing and all candidates who are eligible can apply for the admission test. Candidates can apply for a particular date of online examination till 48 hours before each exam date. For example - candidates should apply by Thursday for the exam scheduled the following Saturday.

CMRUAT Eligibility Criteria 2020
Candidates willing to appear for CMRUAT must ensure that before applying, they check the eligibility criteria of the exam. Applications that do not meet the eligibility will be rejected by the officials at the time of admission.
Law
- Candidate should have cleared class 12 or equivalent examination or state board of education

Candidate must obtain at least 45% marks in aggregate for general (40% in case of candidate belonging to OBC/SC/ST/PH) in the above subjects
- There is no age limit to apply CMRUAT 2020 as the Bar Council of India (BCI) as removed the upper or lower age limit criteria for admissions to law courses
CMRUAT 2020 Admission Process
Step 1: Fill in the Application form
Candidates willing to appear for CMRUAT need to fill the application form and submit the same before the deadline. Candidates must check the eligibility before filling the application form. The application fee is Rs 750 which is payable online.
Step 2: Download CMRUAT Admit Card
Candidates who register successfully for the exam will get access to admit cards. The admit cards will be made available online and candidates can download the same from the University’s official website. Carrying the admit card to the exam hall is mandatory.
Step 3: Appear for CMRUAT
Candidates who receive admit cards will be eligible to appear for CMRUAT. The allotment of test city, centre details and date of test is notified to the candidate by email & through SMS. The exam is conducted twice a year, once in June and next in July.
Step 4: Check CMRUAT Result
Candidates who appear for CMRUAT can expect the result within a month from the date of examination. The authorities will release the result online, and test-takers can check the same in the University’s website.
Step 5: Counselling
After declaration of results, The University will conduct the counselling round. It must be noted that candidates are required to be present in person for the counselling round along with the required documents.
CMRUAT 2020 Exam Centres
CMRUAT is conducted at various exam centres throughout India. Candidates must make sure that they reach the exam centre at the reporting time (mentioned on the admit card). Candidates who reach late will not be allowed to appear for the exam. Outstation candidates are advised to check the exam centre a day before the day of exam to avoid any last minute hassle. It must be noted that carrying calculators, Docu pen, slide rules, Log Tables, electronic watches, bits of paper, mobile or any other device to the exam centre is not allowed.
