Placements: SITM has a decent placement record for IT and CSE branches, but for other streams, the placements are not much good. The average package offered is around 3.5 LPA due to the high intake of students (720 students). The college also offers an MBA, but the quality of education is not good.
Placements: I believe 25 students got placed in some private company, last year, but with a low salary package as the details about packages were not mentioned in the notification of placements. All the students depend on private jobs and get placed through campus placements.
Placements: Placements for our batch were very bad, and even placements for our senior batch were not up to the mark. Only 20% of the students of our batch were placed. The highest salary package offered was around 3.25 LPA, the average salary package offered was around 2.50 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was around 2 LPA. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Genpact visited our college for placements. Mostly roles of BPO were offered. None of the students got an internship through college. There is a p...
Placements: They didn't organise any placement drives. Last year, only one company visited the campus for placements, and that company hired only the students of CSE and IT branches. We have to participate in off-campus placement drives which are organised in other colleges. So it is very difficult for us to get placed in any reputed companies and MNCs.
Placements: The college doesn't provide any placement opportunities. Our training and placement officer doesn't even invite a single company. Open placement drives which are organised in our city or even other cities are responsible for our placement record if there is any. The placements in the college are nil.
Placements: Placements in the college are very limited. The administration is to be blamed as they don't call companies timely and when they do students are not allowed to participate as a whole. Only selected students are given a chance, which clearly indicates their intention. This is unfair and an unnecessary step, as the meritorious students go for competitive exams and do not take the opportunity of campus placement or the job in hand. On the other side, the average students looking for a job were not ...
Placements: Hardly 1 to 2 companies visited the campus. The placement percentage is 5% to 10%. Students either opt for GATE exams or non-technical exams or pool campus drives. 1 to 2 companies that visit the college offer very low salaries and don't have any good project to work on. Hence, the college is not good for placements.
Placements: The college doesn't provide placement opportunities for our department when compared to other branches. This is very disappointing, as electronics companies don't visit the college. Those who got placed were placed through open placement drives. There is a placement cell, even though there is no company for recruitment. The college doesn't provide internships.
Placements: Only one company visited the campus for mechanical students, but it was an IT company. Core companies did not visit the campus or were not invited. The staff in the placement cell do not have the required authority, aura or the experience on how to approach a company and invite it to the campus. The institute is run by rookie people, which affects the students. Internships are not provided to the students. The college provides seminars for 1 or 2 days, but it won't be helpful for the students du...
Placements: Placements in our college are not started yet. There is no one to tell us about the real world. They provide only theoretical knowledge. We are not aware of its use and future possibilities to succeed in life. There is nothing much to say about placements in college.
Placements: There is no such facility called placement here. You have to do everything on your own terms. A training and placement cell doesn't even exist here. Some companies visit here only for mining branch, but they are not that useful. Except for mining branch, the companies that visit here are useless.
Placements: Placements are not provided for computer science students. Few companies visit our campus to offer placements, but they are not related to the computer science branch. We have to try for off-campus placements. After graduation, we have to go for training in other institutes and apply for off-campus placements.
Placements: The college doesn't provide any placement opportunities for the students of the electrical department. Only IT companies visit the college for placements. Many of these companies that visit the college are not genuine. The college is not good for the students who want to get placed in campus placement drives. The college doesn't even take care and think about your future. The students have to find the placement opportunities by themselves.
Placements: Almost 60 percent placement in IT and CS. AROUND 5 to 10 percent placement in mechanical. No core company visits only it companies visit. Only Adani a core mechanical company visited. They offered 4.5 LPA the highest in batch. There is no internship and placement cell is also ineffective to attract companies. Overall almost no placements for core branches.
Placements: Placements were a rarity in our college. Less than 5% were placed by the time our session ended. TCS and a lot of BPOs. Except TCS, most of them were voice processes and back office support. No one got internships via college. We were supposed to look out for our own. No stipend, we had to pay for internships. Placement cell is a joke.
Placements: Placements are good in average terms. Branches that belongs to IT companies are in considerable position here viz. Computer Science, electronics and electrical etc. For core branches like civil mechanical there is hardly any chance of placement. 30% placement.
Placements: Only 2 or 3 IT companies have come for placements this year, and one core company SK Samanta visited for civil, mechanical and electrical. This college is not good if you want to get placed in a high paying company. In the year 2016-17 some students of mining branch got placed, but there are no placements for mining students this year.
Placements: There is very less chance that you get placed directly from college. No power plant company hire directly. No other internship programme or tech activities are promoted by college superiors. Most of student go for TCS as there unwillingful option. So don't hurry and one more time for JEE.
Placements: 4% students were placed. The highest salary about 20000 per month, vishnu chemicals is the only company visited the campus, mainly as a trainee or assistant process development roles were given. 0 % internship. Yes there is a placement cell. Mainly BPO is given.
Placements: Only 4-5 student placed. Placement record of our college is very bad. Only one or two companies visited our college of campus selection. Placement cell is available in college, but placement cell is not very active. Olny 2-5 percent students are placed sometimes this percent is further reduced.
