A:
The University is approved by UGC. DAV University (DAVU) offers degree and Diploma courses to candidates at UG, PG, and doctoral levels. The university offers the BCom course at UG-level lasting for three years. DAV University BCom course fees  range from INR 80,00 to INR 2.2 Lakh
Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, candidates can summarize the overall review of the courses offered:
  • Teaching and Curriculum: The teaching quality is overall good, with professors being helpful and knowledgeable. The curriculum is considered suitable for students, with a mix of theory and practical learning.
  • Placement Opportunities: While DAV University doesn't guarantee 100% placements, many reputed companies like Hero Cycles, Reliance Jio, and Samsung have recruited students. However, students must be prepared to compete with peers from other departments, and placements might depend on individual performance.
  • Infrastructure and Facilities: The university has decent infrastructure, with modern classrooms, laboratories, and recreational spaces. Hostel facilities are available, although some students find the food quality lacking.* Campus Life: Festivals and cultural events are celebrated throughout the year, providing opportunities for socializing and skill-building.

In conclusion, while DAV University may not excel in every aspect, it seems like a decent choice for those seeking a Bachelor's degree in Commerce. With its relatively affordable tuition fees and decent placement record, students may find it a viable option for pursuing their academic goals.

It is a good college with good environment.
Placements: Course in which I enrolled there is no option of placements so don't know about it. In other courses there is the highest package of 17 Lacs to 20 Lacs in MBA or B Tech and minimum package is 4 Lacs. No all students get placements. Placements are very rare.
Infrastructure: Hostel is good but there is a major issue of food. Food quality is not good. I am not a hosteler but my friends who lives in hostel tells about it. If you are taking admission in hostel then keep it in mind that there is no good food and also hostel fees is not value for money.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, course curriculum is good and exam level is not so easy and not so hard as well. Teachers are very helpful and supportive. All teachers are well educated and have good teaching skills. Lectures time is very long we get free about 4:30 in evening.
Other: Festivals and other activities celebrations are good.

The college infrastructure is awesome.
Placements: 200 students in my course got placed. Seniors are very helpful, and juniors are well-behaved. There is no ragging on the campus. The management punishes the students if there is any ragging. 3 LPA is the minimum package offered.
Infrastructure: High-speed Wi-Fi, excellent labs and classrooms with a beautiful atmosphere are available, and you can easily study there. The hostel management is excellent, and the mess food is really very tasty. The canteen also has lots of food items which are very delicious.
Faculty: The teaching quality is awesome, and the teachers are highly qualified. Most of the teachers have done PhDs from different institutes, and now, they are giving their best to make our future bright. The teachers are friendly. Semester exams are not so hard, but tricky questions are asked. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: Because of my interest, I chose this course. The teaching and syllabus are the best parts of this course. Nothing should be changed in the course. I took part in sports events etc.

Infrastructure: The campus has spectacular buildings with solid furniture. The whole campus was Wi-Fi enabled, and it was available for us free of cost. The campus was environment-friendly as there was no usage of plastic bags. Labs and classrooms were spacious and ventilated. The college has perfect cement roads. The campus was airy.
Faculty: All the teachers in our college have completed PhD. They showed their keen interest to make studies effective. The bond between students and teachers was good. Teachers were always available to help students in their studies. Teachers always appreciate the efforts of brilliant students.

I had a great experience in the college. The campus has a good atmosphere for studies.
Placements: As this was our bachelor's degree, we have to complete our M.Sc to get placements. Our classmates got admission in IITs, state universities and central universities. Few students also got jobs in many private companies. I don't know much about placements, but it was usual to see a flex with information about placements.
Infrastructure: The college has provided good Wi-Fi facility of high-speed. Hostel facilities were good. Hostels for both boys and girls were available on campus, and the food provided was adequate. The canteen was good, and a few food stalls were available which offer a variety of snacks. We celebrated almost every festival with zeal. The college has provided good sports facilities which provide a great platform for everyone to showcase their talent.
Faculty: The college has highly qualified and experienced staff members. The campus has a good environment for studies. Conducting a proper set of exams with vivas and group discussions were a great help to us in understanding topics and boost our confidence. For our course, they don't offer much field work, but we went on a tour. Workshops were conducted on different occasions which relate our mathematical part.

Dissatisfied with placements. The infrastructure was good, and the teachers were highly qualified.
Placements: DAV does not offer 100% placements, but many reputed companies visit the campus for placements and summer internships. Companies like Hero Cycles, Reliance Jio, and Samsung visited the campus for recruitment. The starting salary package offered by the companies was not high, but it increases as per the performance of the worker. A placement cell was available on the campus which was helpful to students for their placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of DAV was good. The college provided a proper Wi-Fi facility. All the classrooms were air-conditioned. A library was available on the campus. The college provided well-equipped labs for different streams like MATLAB for mathematics students. Quality of food served was average. Both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms were available in the hostel. Mess facility was available in the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful, and they provided proper study materials. They were highly qualified and knowledgeable. They taught in the best and friendly way. Teachers provide you with practical knowledge as well as theoretical knowledge. Students of the agriculture department get opportunities to gain industry exposure.
Other: Events like youth fest, Lohri, Diwali, Holi, etc., were celebrated in the college along with the hostel night, fresher's party and farewell party.
