Based on the reviews from students and alumni, here are some key points to consider:

* Companies Visiting: Local and national companies like Nivera, Maruti Suzuki, Nexon, Airtel, LG, Patanjali, and Samsung visit the campus for recruitments.
* Internship Opportunities: Around 10-20% of students get internships, with opportunities to work with companies like Advanced Solutions.
* Facilities: The university has good infrastructure, including Wi-Fi-enabled campuses, libraries, laboratories, and recreational spaces.

* Scholarships: Meritorious students receive scholarships to pursue their education.
* Limitations: Placements are limited for B.Tech students, with few core companies visiting the campus. Salary packages may not be high due to lack of work experience.

Considering these factors, whether or not B.E./B.Tech at DAV University is worth the investment depends on individual circumstances. For students looking for a relatively affordable and decent education, with potential placement opportunities, DAV University might be a viable option. However, students seeking higher salary packages or more prominent job prospects might want to explore other options.

With its affordable fees, decent placement rates, and good faculty, it provides a solid foundation for future careers. Absolutely satisfied because of faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: There are 30% of students placed. And the highest package is 24 lacs per annum and the lowest package is 6 to 10 lacs per annum. Top companies are Microsoft, Byju's, ITC, TCS, IDFC Bank, HDFC Bank, and many more companies that are visiting to recruit students. Top roles offered are data analyst, web developer, and many more. Above 7 CGPA students get easily placed compared to below 7 CGPA students. But sometimes luck and talent also work, so CGPA does not matter in many companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. All departments have their own building. Labs are there. AC classrooms are available. For self-study, there is a library where students can study peacefully. Sports and games are available. Medical facilities are also there. Mess food is healthy and totally clean. Canteen is also here. The infrastructure of DAV University is so beautiful and good.
Faculty: Faculty are so good. Teachers are very knowledgeable and fully qualified. They personally help us in our projects and in preparation of interviews. And the course curriculum is definitely relevant, and it's making students ready for industry. Semester exams are a little bit difficult. The passing mark that the student need is 40%.
Other: I have more interest in CSE. So I chose this course. The best thing about this course is that it relates to new technologies and AIs. The better improvement is that the student should teach the behavior and interview knowledge, which helps them take jobs easily. There are so many events organised in our college. Scholarships are also there. Sports-related all competitions are organized there. There are also many fests and treasure hunts organized there.

My experience in DAV University .
Placements: There are a lot of good companies, and lots of students are placed from here with 4-5 lakhs average package per annum. The syllabus of the course is mighty good, and they focus on the practical knowledge more than theory knowledge. 60–70% of students are placed.
Infrastructure: I don't use hostel facilities, but my friends told me about the food that the food is not much good, not bad. Here, Wi-Fi is available for all students. All classrooms have AC facilities. There are lifts also available for ease of students. There is a big library for students, and there is also a seating arrangement for self-study.
Faculty: I like the faculty of this university; all are very familiar in nature if you have any queries regarding courses. Career, they always guide you. From my perspective, exams are not tough; they are moderate. Here the passing mark is 40% in each subject. And not more than five subjects they teach us per semester.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) - Batch of 2027

Good infrastructure and average campus life.
Placements: I'm a BBA student, and I don't think my college provides placement in this course. It does provide really good placements in B.Tech. As a first-year student, I don't know much about the exact percentage of students getting internships or jobs, but I believe in working on ourselves instead of expecting from college.
Infrastructure: Our university does provide Wi-Fi, well-air-conditioned classrooms, nice labs, and 2 libraries. One library is for individual study and the other for group study. One library has proper ACs and computers for students, while the other library doesn't have ACs but is well ventilated.
Faculty: The faculty here is no doubt really good. The teachers are well qualified. The most important thing is they are approachable. The course curriculum is also relevant. The passing marks here are 40 out of 100. I don't know the difficult level of exams as I'm a fresher, and there's much more to know.
Other: The college offers a number of events going throughout the whole year. Actors from Punjab movies also visit the campus, and it's fun here. But to be honest, the crowd is not at all intellectual.

The best affordable college in Jalandhar.
Placements: The cost of my course is 47,000 a year, and there are various packages offered by the companies in our college. The highest average packet should be 7 LPA. There are many top recruiting companies that come to the college to select the students, such as Cream and many other companies. There are many placements offered by different companies in our college.
Infrastructure: If you talk about the infrastructure of our college, the air conditioning is available in only computer labs, but in classes there are only ceiling fans. Although the infrastructure is not good, if we keep in mind the fee structure of the courses, then according to that fee structure, the infrastructure is not to bad; there are all the necessary facilities available in the college.
Faculty: In our college, there are two times exams happen: firstly, the college takes the MST, which is the midterm exam, and then the final comes to be taken by the universities, which are the final exams whose marks are to be counted. The best thing is that the MST should build up the confidence in the student and help the students be prepared for the final exam.
Other: I too am taking this course because I have an interest in the management and account sections. That's why I chose the Bachelor of Commerce, and the faculty of the colleges are very good and qualified, and I have experienced all the students being comfortable with the teachers and discussing the problem with open-mindedness. Each other makes the solutions to the problem and guides the students in the best possible way, so overall, the college is very good and affordable for the middle class.

Very highly qualified and knowledgeable teachers.
Placements: In our ECE branch of engineering, around 30% of students get placements in the college. The highest package offered was 4 lpa, and the average package offered in the batch was 2 lpa. The top recruiters were Nivera, Maruti Suzuki, Nexon, Airtel, etc. Around 30-40% students gets internships on the basis academic records.
Infrastructure: College has a beautiful infrastructure because it is not too old. The campus of the college is lush with greenery. The labs of the college have all the instruments required for the experiments. The library has all kinds of books. Classrooms were big and furnished. The college has a sports complex for sports activities.
Faculty: Teachers at our college were some of the best. All the teachers were highly qualified. All of them had great experience in the field of teaching. There way of teaching was very easy to understand. Conducts various industry visits for practical knowledge. Exams were hard to pass.

Review of DAV University.
Placements: 50-60% students are placed in our course. The highest package is now at least 25 Lacs. There are so many companies that come like TISCO, Pepsi, Tata, etc. And so many students get internships from so many courses in so many companies and so many offers in so many courses.
Infrastructure: Yes, there will be availability of Wi-Fi, labs, library, and classrooms. Classrooms are quite decent as compared to other universities. Hostels in the university are also decent. There are a lot of rooms on the university campus with air-conditioned rooms or non-air-conditioned rooms.
Faculty: My course is quite good because I am doing honors in Physics, and there are exams two times for one semester. In one semester, exams will be conducted two times, once as mid-semester and the other as final semester or called end-semester exams. Total marks will be given by combined exams.
Other: I chose this course because I love teaching. By doing B.Sc., we can teach, give tuitions, and earn money; this is my passion as well. I love teaching, and Physics is my favorite subject. There are also lots of events in the universities, such as Lohri fest, Diwali fest.
