Q:   Can a student get admission to DAVV without CUET?

A:

Admission without CUET (Common University Entrance Test) is possible for some courses only like LL. M., and others. but for these courses,  CUET-PG is accepted by the university. So, students can get admission without CUET but the student have to change the course they are opting for. So, the best solution is to prepare in advance for the CUET and get admission in the relevant course. Seats are limited and candidates applying through CUET are many. Only good preparation can assist in getting admission to various courses like BTech, BSc, B.A. and others.

A:
{Source: B.A. LL.B. (Hons) students & alumni}

Is B.A. LL.B. (Hons) at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) worth the investment?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's what we've gathered:

Teaching Quality: The faculty members are highly qualified, with many being Ph.D. holders or pursuing higher studies. They are knowledgeable and helpful, providing a supportive learning environment.

Infrastructure and Facilities: The college has modern facilities, including a moot court, computer labs, libraries, and recreational spaces. While some students mention that the infrastructure could be improved, others appreciate the amenities available.

Placement Record: Although the college does not offer direct placement assistance, students are encouraged to pursue internships and corporate jobs after completing their degree. Some graduates have reported receiving internship offers, while others have landed jobs with reputed firms.

Campus Life: The campus hosts various festivals, events, and sports activities throughout the year. Students enjoy a mix of academic and extracurricular pursuits.

Scholarship Opportunities: The college offers several scholarship options, including Merit-based, State-government sponsored, and National-level scholarships.

Review Highlights:

* "The teachers are the best in their field. They give practical questions for the exams." - Student Review
* "The library is well-equipped with the books needed by the students." - Alumni Feedback
* "Around 85% of students are placed in our course. Almost all students got internships in this course." - Student Review
* "The college doesn't provide any placement opportunities to students as most of the students are preparing for Judiciary or Civil services exams." - Alumni Feedback

Considering these factors, it appears that B.A. LL.B. (Hons) at DAVV offers a strong foundation in law, combined with a supportive learning environment and access to modern facilities. While the placement record may vary depending on individual interests and career goals, the college's emphasis on internships and corporate exposure suggests that students can leverage their education to secure meaningful employment opportunities.

We conclude that B.A. LL.B. (Hons) at DAVV is a worthwhile investment for those seeking a comprehensive education in law, with potential opportunities for growth and development in their chosen careers.

Overall, I had a good experience with my college life.
Placements: I opted for the B.A. plan course in my college, so I wasn't offered any placements, although my friends pursuing B.Com and other courses were approached by companies like Flipkart, Reliance Industries, etc. The minimum salary offered was around 2.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite poor and lacks modern technology in classrooms, though other facilities are decent, and sports and games are encouraged on campus. The university is also active in NCC and NSS, organizing various camps. However, the library can be frustrating to access due to many rules and regulations.
Faculty: The faculty is highly experienced, supportive, and knowledgeable. As a civil services aspirant, I found the curriculum helpful for my preparations. While the course curriculum is relevant, it differs from other universities. The exams are not too difficult and can be easily cleared with some effort.
Other: I've always aspired to be a civil servant, which is why I chose this course, and it has greatly helped in my preparations. I've also been active in NSS and college fests, which contributed to my personal growth.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
