A simple and sweet college.
Placements: Maximum students eligible for placements get selected. Almost 90% of students are placed based on their skills and knowledge. The highest package last year was 45 LPA, and the average package is 5 to 6 LPA every year. Internships are provided to engaged students.
Infrastructure: We have a library, labs with LAN internet connections, and fully equipped accessories. We have classrooms with projectors for virtual learning. The infrastructure is well-built, with a lot of free space outside the rooms. Food quality is average.
Faculty: The teachers in our college are well-educated and qualified. They are appointed based on their Ph.D. levels and subject mastery. The teaching quality is good, as they are friendly and helpful and support our personal growth.

A Comprehensive review for campus life.
Placements: Placement exposure is 50-50. If you have capability and skills, you will get placed. A good number of companies come here and select students after their different hiring processes. Mostly, IT companies come in very good numbers, and most IT students are placed in such good companies. So you can say that 50% of the students get placed in this college every year.
Infrastructure: As I already mentioned, the campus is very beautiful. You'll love it when you come here. There is also a good ratio of boys and girls in the IT branches of this college. There is some variation in that ratio in core branches. The social life is very good in this college; you make good friends here from different backgrounds and cultures. You can also enroll in different groups, cultural clubs, book clubs, and many others to learn new things. All sports facilities are also available. There is a big sports auditorium where you can play many games, a basketball court, a football ground, and a cricket stadium.
Faculty: There are 2 semesters each year, and my course is a total of four years, meaning there are 8 semesters in total. Each semester takes 5 months to complete. There is a well-structured syllabus for each branch and semester. There are particular faculty members assigned to teach particular subjects in which they are proficient. There are some permanent faculty here and some guest faculty, and some are also Ph.D. scholars. In each semester, there are three mid-semester exams held, and at the end of the semester, the final exam is held. Each mid-semester exam is worth 30 marks for each subject, and the end-semester paper is worth 105 marks. You get 21 marks worth of questions from each chapter. Passing the exam is not very difficult in this college if you attend classes regularly, take two out of three mid-semester exams, and perform well in the end-semester exam. Some students who are not regular and do not study definitely fail the exams, not just in this college, but they would fail any exam if they don't study. Overall, all things are very well-mannered and structured here. That's all from my side.

IPS Academy is the best college in Indoor.
Placements: In this college, the salary package offered is around 3.50 LPA - 9 LPA. I am in the 3rd year. I am also hopeful that I can get a good placement. In this college, students learn how to talk and sit in the placement hall. We are told about it in advance. Classes are held separately for meetings in which we are taught about experience. Our college provides internships every year. We are told about that field and an experience is provided. In my last year internship, I stayed out of the city for 10 days. Students get a lot to learn at IPS Academy.
Infrastructure: Full attention is provided to the lab. There is a separate lab for each class and all kinds of necessary things are available in it. Each lab has special evidence of Wi-Fi, from where we can do practicals after seeing the online classes. There is a central library in which we get all the required books. We can sit and study in the library. Currently, there is no hostel for boys, but the boys' hostel is under construction. It starts within a year. I ate the food in the mess many times. It provides good food. It provides green vegetables, salad, etc.
Faculty: Studies at IPS Academy are very good. Lectures are given on every subject. After the lectures, there is fieldwork. Teachers conduct the exam in almost 2 or 3 months and after that, there is a pre-exam due to which students prepare well for it. The paper is also not very tough. They can score 60% CGPA easily.
Other: I have been enjoying the trees and plants for a long time and in the coming time, most work needs to be done on these because nowadays the pollution has become so much. So, it is difficult to breathe and there is a lot of scoop in horticulture as well, we can go in the car next time, with which we will get to do a lot of work with enthusiasm, through which we will be able to do well. But here not many students join classes. There are only 30 students in a class, if there are more then we make the second class.

College days-memorable part of happy life.
Placements: There are 250 students in our batch. Some students failed and 170 students passed. There are no salary packages offered as it is an MBBS course but internships are compulsory. Our college offered a stipend of Rs. 12,000 per month. Overall, it is a good course but students have to give their valuable years to it. After internships, students can get jobs in hospitals and can experience good things to improve their skills and knowledge.
Infrastructure: About infrastructure, there are very good classrooms and campus. We have air conditioners, projectors, well-organised benches, lights, etc., in our classrooms. Library facilities and reading room are provided in college building. Hostel rooms are fully furnished except for air conditioners. There is a common central mess for all hostellers. We also have a sports area and garden on campus.
Faculty: There are experienced teachers. They are doctorates. All of them are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Students have exams every year. The course is for 4.5 years. 1st, 3rd, and, 4th years are for 12 months. The 2nd year is for 18 months. Exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is 90%.
Other: I chose this course because I want to live a healthy and disease-free life.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for my department are average. The chalkboards and whiteboards have cracks. The technologies, like computers and projectors, are getting outdated. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is not very hygienic.
Faculty: The faculty members provided for my course are knowledgeable and well-qualified, but they are not very helpful to students who are weak. Curriculum activities are only conducted at the start of the semester, and after that, not much happens apart from studies and lectures.

Is B.E. / B.Tech at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) worth the investment?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's what we've gathered:

Pros:

* Good Placement Record: Around 70-80% of students from the course get placed, with top recruiters like Accenture, TCS, Infosys, and others offering packages ranging from INR2.7 LPA to INR12 LPA.
* Strong Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable, experienced, and well-qualified, with many holding PhDs.
* Infrastructure: The campus has good infrastructure, including modern labs, libraries, and hostels with Wi-Fi connectivity.
* Scholarship Opportunities: Various scholarships like Medhavi and MPTAAS are available for deserving students.

Cons:

* Limited Practical Knowledge: Students feel that there could be more emphasis on practical knowledge and skills.
* Lab Issues: Currently, lab facilities are limited, but construction work is underway to improve this.
* Hostel Food: Some students complain about the quality of food in the hostels, particularly for first-year students.

Verdict: Based on the pros and cons, it appears that studying B.E./B.Tech at DAVV can be a worthwhile investment for those interested in pursuing a career in data Science and related fields. While there may be areas for improvement, the university seems to offer good placement opportunities, strong faculty, and decent infrastructure.

However, prospective students should consider factors like lab availability, hostel food quality, and the importance of practical knowledge when making their decision. Additionally, students seeking better placements might want to supplement their education with online courses or internships to gain additional skills.

By considering both sides, students can make an informed decision about whether investing in a degree from DAVV is right for them.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
