Q:   Can a student get admission to DAVV without CUET?

A:

Admission without CUET (Common University Entrance Test) is possible for some courses only like LL. M., and others. but for these courses,  CUET-PG is accepted by the university. So, students can get admission without CUET but the student have to change the course they are opting for. So, the best solution is to prepare in advance for the CUET and get admission in the relevant course. Seats are limited and candidates applying through CUET are many. Only good preparation can assist in getting admission to various courses like BTech, BSc, B.A. and others.

Q:   Is B.A. LL.B. (Hons) at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya worth the investment?

A:
{Source: B.A. LL.B. (Hons) students & alumni}

Is B.A. LL.B. (Hons) at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) worth the investment?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's what we've gathered:

Teaching Quality: The faculty members are highly qualified, with many being Ph.D. holders or pursuing higher studies. They are knowledgeable and helpful, providing a supportive learning environment.

Infrastructure and Facilities: The college has modern facilities, including a moot court, computer labs, libraries, and recreational spaces. While some students mention that the infrastructure could be improved, others appreciate the amenities available.

Placement Record: Although the college does not offer direct placement assistance, students are encouraged to pursue internships and corporate jobs after completing their degree. Some graduates have reported receiving internship offers, while others have landed jobs with reputed firms.

Campus Life: The campus hosts various festivals, events, and sports activities throughout the year. Students enjoy a mix of academic and extracurricular pursuits.

Scholarship Opportunities: The college offers several scholarship options, including Merit-based, State-government sponsored, and National-level scholarships.

Review Highlights:

* "The teachers are the best in their field. They give practical questions for the exams." - Student Review
* "The library is well-equipped with the books needed by the students." - Alumni Feedback
* "Around 85% of students are placed in our course. Almost all students got internships in this course." - Student Review
* "The college doesn't provide any placement opportunities to students as most of the students are preparing for Judiciary or Civil services exams." - Alumni Feedback

Considering these factors, it appears that B.A. LL.B. (Hons) at DAVV offers a strong foundation in law, combined with a supportive learning environment and access to modern facilities. While the placement record may vary depending on individual interests and career goals, the college's emphasis on internships and corporate exposure suggests that students can leverage their education to secure meaningful employment opportunities.

We conclude that B.A. LL.B. (Hons) at DAVV is a worthwhile investment for those seeking a comprehensive education in law, with potential opportunities for growth and development in their chosen careers.

Review of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Takshashila Campus.
Placements: Around 60-65% of students got placed in our course. Many top recruiting companies visit our college for recruitment. The highest salary package offered was 6.5 LPA by LTI. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies are LTI, Cognizant, Accenture, Cognam, Capgemini, Fico, and Deutsche Bank. The minimum salary package offered was 19 LPA. There are 3 colleges named SCSIT, IIPS, and IET that participate in the placement process. But the information is provided by our college. It provides good placements, and many companies visit our college for recruitment.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, and the speed is good. You can use it with your ID and password. A good library is available with all the books related to subjects. Computer laboratory is also good. Playground is available for sports like cricket and volleyball. It also provides badminton and table tennis courts. There is a big ground for running. The hostels are very good and the food served in the mess is average.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and knowledgeable. Few faculty members do not have the best teaching style. The course curriculum is outdated, and it does not include the latest technology. As a result, students may not be fully prepared for the industry after post-graduation. Semester exams are easy, and the passing percentage is approximately 95%.
Other: I chose this college because it provides good placements. Our college should include more new technology in the course curriculum. This college is the best choice for students.

I am satisfied with the faculty, course and campus. I recommend you to take admission here.
Placements: I am a student of the MCA course, and I am going to pass out in the year 2022. Many companies visit our college for placements. MNCs companies also visit here to hire students from MCA, BCA, BE, B.Tech, ME, M.Tech, MBA and M.Sc students with a high salary package. The highest salary package offered in our course is 22 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges between 6-7 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like FactSet, Capgemini, Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, Quantiphi, Josh, etc., visit our campus to hire a lot of students with a good salary package. If you want to get a placement in a good company, then I recommend you study here.
Infrastructure: Hotels are very good. For both boys and girls, there are separate hostels on the campus. There are 5 girls hostel with a capacity of 150 to 250 students, similarly in boys hostel. Facilities like Wi-Fi, LAN connection, washing machine and separate mess are available in the hostel. Our college provides a separate college library and a common centre library. It provides many sports grounds for playing different games with all facilities. There is a common canteen for all college students. It also has an Indian coffee house on the campus. There is a bank with an ATM facility. Medical facilities are also available here.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well-qualified. They have great knowledge of their course and also train us with practical knowledge. So we will be ready for placements. Semester exams are not difficult, and we can easily clear them by attending college daily.
Other: I have chosen this course because I want to go into the IT field. I want the college should provide some practical knowledge, but it is good there. Many events and international fest are organised here. The campus is good, and the campus surroundings are good. Extracurricular activities are also conducted here. Scholarships are available for different categories of students.

Review of International Institute of Professional Studies, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidhyalaya.
Placements: Almost 90% of the students from our course get placed, but it does not offer a healthy package. After putting 6 years of your life as well as 6-6.5 LPA in a course, you should at least get 100% ROI, but you won't be getting here. The average salary package offered ranges between 3-3.2 LPA. The highest salary package offered is more than 15 LPA, but it's so rare that it happens only once in 2-3 years. Only 1-2 students get the highest salary package. Mass recruiters like Infosys and Wipro visited our college to hire most of the students. Our college does not provide an internship.
Infrastructure: Our hostel is well-equipped. Each facility available to the students is good, and you will get a good network of seniors and alumni. Our college provides a 4-time meal for students. Gym facility is available. Our college provides ground for games like cricket, hockey and volleyball. Our college also provides indoor courts for games like badminton, table tennis, etc. Wi-Fi facility and library are also available.
Faculty: The course curriculum is satisfactory as it covers all the aspects of the field. It almost matches the course curriculum of CS branch of IET-DAVV and SGSITS. Faculty members are not that great, and they tend to skip the topics as per their convenience, or they will be teaching a whole new concept which satisfies their own logic.
Other: Campus crowd is just excellent. I have chosen this course because you can interact with the individuals from different corners of the state and different fields as this college offers course in both science and commerce field. Fests and activities conducted at our college are great as you would be exposed to all the aspects of social life as both commerce and science students are involved. Summits, workshop and interactive sessions are also conducted. There is good bonding with seniors and juniors, which makes it student-driven college.

A good place to study in a good environment.
Placements: Every year placements are almost 100% with very good packages but during my placement time my batch was not allowed to take part for more than one company interview. So my batch's placement was not 100% may be because of recession. Otherwise many MNC's gives placement every year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. It is located at a very good location a very beautiful and calm place as well as it is very big campus with so many facilities like auditorium, various fields for sports classes are very well maintained and we'll equipped.
Faculty: The curriculum is very well designed the courses are also very well designed. A maximum number of subjects are covered that are necessary for the available courses. Faculty are highly experienced and very skilled only the things lacks is practical knowledge for students should increase a bit.
Other: College hosts so many events at intercollege, interstate level related to tech fest, sports events as well as annual events of the college.
