Absolutely satisfied with the college and it is value for money.
Placements: 1. 30% of students get placed, as it is a bachelor's degree. 2. 2500000 is the highest package. 3. Not that many companies visited; only a few are there, like TCI and one related to manufacturing. 4. Only 40% of students got internships in TCI in warehouse management. 5. The top roles offered are inventory management and operations.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is nice, and the library is good. You will get everything there. The hostel is not recommended as rooms are very small, washrooms are very small, and phones are not allowed. You did not even get a chance to call your parents. Hostel timing is also not good.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful and qualified. Teaching quality is nice. They explain things in a practical way and also ask questions in class. Curriculum is also perfect. You will cover all things and get a chance to learn more. Exams are difficult but not out of topic.
Other: This course is nice because of practical knowledge, and lots of projects have to be done. Improvement is needed in the curriculum. I got a chance to participate in events and fests, which are great.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) (Hons.) - Batch of 2027
Offered by Faculty of Commerce, Dayalbagh Educational Institute
3.2

Quality education is provided within a budget.
Placements: Most students don't opt to get placed in college and go for further studies. The average salary package after B.Com is not more than 2.4 LPA. Roles are offered in accounting. Everyone has to do a compulsory internship after the 2nd year. Can either go through the college or find one on own.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is good, but it is not been used to its fullest potential. Every class has LED TVs, and some also have projectors, but they are used only occasionally. Hostel quality is below average, with no air-conditioners or coolers in the rooms. Food quality is also average. College is very active in sports and games, and there is even a dedicated period for sports each week.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Course curriculum is fine, but it doesn't make students industry-ready. Will have to develop skills on own. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and recently, the "Open Book" format for exams has been introduced. Pass percentage is 33%.

Don't come here! The only positive is a substantial education in less amount!
Placements: The college has the worst placement record. There are no proper companies hiring, and under the name of placements, they offer jobs with salaries of 20,000 per month in expensive cities like Bangalore. The placement percentage is very low. For the past five years, there have been no proper companies for our course especially.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is okay. The Wi-Fi, labs, and library are alright. But the number of students is very high, and the classrooms cannot accommodate that many. The quality of food is very poor. The college does not support any sports.
Faculty: The faculty is very qualified and experienced. The exams conducted by the college are alright, but the course curriculum is very poor. The professors cover a fraction of the syllabus but leave out a major chunk, which is important and will be a problem for us in the future.
Other: I chose this college due to the low fees. My family couldn't afford high fees, so I chose it.

B.Voc. in Apparel Design - Batch of 2026

I'm satisfied with this college.
Placements: The placement for B.Voc students varies. The highest package goes from 4 to 6 Lacs per annum, the average package goes from 2 to 4 Lacs per annum, and the lowest package goes to 1.5 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are Raymond, Fabindia, Arvind mills, myntra, and others. Almost 70% of the graduate students got internships at designing studios, fashion houses, and retail brands, and they also get on-site experience for different roles such as apparel designer, fashion consultant, quality control assistant, and visual merchandisers.
Infrastructure: DEI provides good infrastructure with all the facilities, like Wi-Fi on campus and in every department. Classrooms are fully furnished with all modern teaching aids. Labs are designed according to the courses, and a wide range of books are available. Hostel, mess, and canteen are provided, and the mess is very hygienic. Medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: The teaching quality at DEI is superb. The faculty members are industry experts or have specialized training. This makes them particularly effective in guiding students through both the theoretical and practical aspects of the curriculum. The passing percentage is more than 80%, which is because the curriculum focuses more on ensuring that students learn and apply what they have been taught rather than on testing their theoretical knowledge.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in designing. DEI provides a hands-on learning experience that allows you to acquire industry-relevant skills that can lead to a job after graduation. Guest lectures, workshops, and networking events are offered for further enhancement of practical knowledge. The campus is peaceful and quiet, and various events and festivals are held to relax students' minds and learn about different cultures.

Not good for placement.
Placements: I'm disappointed with this college. They have 0% placement for this course, even though they offer too many courses. For B.Com, they had 5 lakh before the pandemic, but now they have 0% placement. There are no top recruiting companies for this course. Students have to do internships under CAs and law firms. Only 5% of students get internships with the help of the college; the other students find internships on their own.
Infrastructure: I was disappointed with the classrooms and desks, which were dirty and in poor condition. The washrooms were also not in good condition, and the canteen was not very good either. On the plus side, the college does provide good wifi and library facilities. However, there are no medical facilities on campus, and only some students participate in sports.
Faculty: I would not recommend this college because the teachers are not very good. They are partial towards some students, and the exams are difficult even though they are open book. Also, the teachers don't always give students the grades they deserve.
Other: I like this college because it is vocational and I learned practical knowledge in my field. The teachers are good and their communication skills and teaching methods are effective. However, the college only provides scholarships and doesn't disclose the criteria for receiving them. Also, no fests are held at this college.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2022
Offered by Faculty of Engineering, Dayalbagh Educational Institute
3.2
3Placements2Infrastructure4Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Good college but not really satisfied due to the college's strictness.
Placements: Placement is average in this college. If specializing in fields like Computer Science or Industrial, it could be tough. Placements for core branches are much better than for specializations. If someone has done an internship in another company during college, they can get a pre-placement offer, which is much beneficial.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is not so good. Some faculty members have good infrastructure, but some of them have very old infrastructure. The college has no Wi-Fi as no mobile phones are allowed on the campus. There is a good library, but during summer, due to heat, it becomes very difficult for students. Inter-faculty competitions are mostly held for students like football, kho, basketball, etc. The condition of hostels is very bad; students prefer to live in PGs rather than college hostels.
Faculty: It is very easy for students to pass exams as the evaluation of marks is very simple and easy. Hardly any students fail in their courses. Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Each student needs to get 70 marks out of 200 in order to pass in a subject.
Other: Students who are eligible for scholarships get the scholarship each year. No fests are organized by the college. Only one exhibition is held each year in the month of January. B.Tech is a good course to pursue from this college as the college has a good reputation in this field, and teachers are also good. The crowd in college is not good as mostly students are from rural areas.

Q:   How is the overall infrastructure of Faculty of Commerce, Dayalbagh Educational Institute?

A:
{Source: B.Com students & alumni]

The Faculty of Commerce at Dayalbagh Educational Institute has a dress code that is followed by both students and faculty. The college has multiple sports grounds and coaching facilities, and additional expenses include books. There are moderately busy calendar events throughout the year, and the mess food is of acceptable quality and hygiene. Attendance policies are strict, and there may be penalties for incomplete attendance. The college culture is diverse, with no language challenges, and support staff primarily speak the local language. Academic life involves regular semester exams and practical teaching methods, and there are well-stocked libraries and research resources available. Security measures include guards and CCTV cameras, and outsiders cannot enter the campus without permission. The college takes a strong stance against ragging and has a zero tolerance policy.

Based on the reviews, the overall infrastructure of the college is mixed. Some reviewers found the infrastructure to be good, with clean and well-maintained labs, a large central library and good hostel facilities. However, others found the infrastructure to be poor, with broken tables and benches, poorly maintained washrooms and limited sports and medical facilities.

Summary: While some aspects of the college's infrastructure, such as the labs and library, are well-maintained, other areas, such as the hostels and classrooms, require improvement. Additionally, there may be issues with the availability of food and drinking water on campus. Overall, the infrastructure of the college seems to be decent but could benefit from improvements in certain areas.

Q:   Is DEI Agra good for B.Voc?

A:
{Source: B.Voc students & alumni}

Here's my attempt to answer the question:

Q: Is DEI (Agra) good for B.Voc?

Based on student reviews and feedback, here are some key points to consider:

* Placements: While some students reported positive experiences with placements, others mentioned that the placement record could improve. According to reports, around 60-90% of students may secure placements, with salaries ranging from INR4-INR8 Lacs per annum.
* Internships: Many students took advantage of internship opportunities provided by the college, which helped them gain industry exposure and build their resumes.
* Faculty: Teachers are described as helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, with a focus on practical training and guidance.
* Curriculum: The curriculum is considered relevant and industry-focused, preparing students for careers in the automobile sector.
* Infrastructure: The college building is said to be old but still maintains a sense of charm, with amenities such as a large library, sports facilities, and hostels available.
* Overall Experience: Students appreciated the supportive atmosphere and the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities, cultural events, and community services.

While individual experiences may vary, overall, DEI (Agra) appears to offer a solid foundation for students pursuing a Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc) in Automobile Engineering.
