Q:   Is it worth pursuing D.Pharma at DPSRU?

A:
{Source: D.Pharma students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the key points:

* Placement Scenario: Unfortunately, most students reported that there are no or negligible on-campus placements for D.Pharma students. However, they encouraged students to explore off-campus opportunities, citing that the college's reputation and the image of DPSRU can lead to high chances of securing a job in a company or hospital.
* Teaching Quality: Most reviewers praised the teaching staff, saying they are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive. Some mentioned that faculty members make students feel comfortable, while others noted that some may lack motivation or enthusiasm.
* Infrastructure: While the overall infrastructure seems decent, some reviewers pointed out issues with hostel conditions, particularly regarding mess food and infrastructure. Others appreciated the availability of modern facilities, such as air-conditioned classrooms and Wi-Fi connectivity.
* Course Curriculum: Some students felt that the current curriculum might not directly prepare students for industry demands, but internships (which are mandatory) helped bridge this gap.

Considering these points, whether pursuing D.Pharma at DPSRU is worth it ultimately depends on individual goals and priorities. For those interested in pharmaceutical industries and willing to explore off-campus opportunities, DPSRU might still offer valuable learning experiences. However, prospective students should carefully weigh the pros and cons before making an informed decision.

Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) - Batch of 2027

Review of Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University.
Placements: Approximately 85% of students get placed. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA with better skills in laboratory technology. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA for the Medical Laboratory Technology students. About 70% of the students got an internship from the college in different companies. The top roles offered are to do the best in medical laboratory technology and to understand the field.
Infrastructure: There is free Wi-Fi in the college for students of all UG and PG courses. Labs available for all B.Pharma and BMLT students are well-organised. Classrooms are also good. The library is more good and a peaceful place in the college. The hostel facility is also good. The rooms of the hostel are of moderate size with furniture attached. The mess food is okay.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. They are PhD holders and provide full knowledge about this course. The teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum makes the students do excellent in the laboratory industry. Semester exams are tough and the pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in medical laboratory technology. The best thing is you get a chance to gain more practical knowledge and skills. Companies should increase the salary package offered in placements. All events are organised. There is a variety of excellent clubs in the college. The campus is good. Scholarship is given to the students either in general or reserved categories.

Overall, DPSRU has good infrastructure.
Placements: Top roles with B.Pharma course can be in marketing, research analysis, quality assurance, etc., with an average salary package ranging from 2.5 LPA to 3 LPA. However, many students prefer to study higher after the degree. Students also can get jobs from outside.
Infrastructure: Overall infrastructure of our college is good. It is neither bad nor very good. Few buildings are a little old and few are new. Hostel has a Wi-Fi facility with good network speed, but sometimes it lags. However, labs are equipped with necessary apparatus and instruments, but some labs lack air-conditioners. Classrooms are well-maintained with air-conditioners, projectors, desks, and boards.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well-qualified. Most of them are top scientists who have done their Ph.D. from a well-known institution in India or foreign. Faculty members are supportive and strict in terms of academic activities. Students need to maintain their attendance.

Good college for good students.
Placements: Currently, I'm in the 1st year of MPHARM, hence I don't have that much knowledge about placement, but our seniors have been placed in many good companies with an average of 6 LPA package. If you are hardworking and willing to do something in the future, pursuing a course in this college is good, plus you have to be very active in participating in several things.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of DPSRU is not that good as it is a government college. The hostel rooms are just okayish and up to the mark. There is a shortage of rooms in the hostel, hence students have to rent rooms and live there. Currently, new buildings are being made for the new courses, thus maybe in the future, there will be more facilities available.
Faculty: There is one big drawback of this college: the faculty of this college is not involved with the students as they need to be. There are only a few seminars or events done in college that are beneficial for the students. Thus, you have to involve yourself to gain benefits.

Good campus placement and better college life.
Placements: This college provides good placements for M.Pharm students with a very high salary package. However, placement opportunities for other courses students are not so good. However, since this college is a government college it provides a very valuable degree that helps students to get good off-campus placement.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is average. This college does not have a large campus. Moreover, there is only one playground in our college for all sports. Our college has good classrooms each classroom has a smartboard. Hostel food of our college is not too good and also has poor hygiene.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are well-educated and their teaching ability is good and they are really helpful. College makes students ready for their future and industry. It also provides internships in well-known hospitals. Semester exams at our college are difficult.
Other: Seniors of our college are good. This college has many societies according to students' interest for their better future building. Our college has many clubs which provide many co-curricular activities.

Bachelor of Physiotherapy(BPT) - Batch of 2027

Good but a bit expensive (according to government college) college.
Placements: Being in 1st year, as per my knowledge, I don't think there is placement assistance for BPT passed-out students by the college. But I also believe students do get jobs on their own. They get jobs in hospitals, private practices. In internships, the students go to hospitals like RML, Guru Gobind, etc. Hospital postings start from 3rd year. From 2nd year, students start working in the OPD of the college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Classrooms are spacious, there is no internet provided to students in college, but we do get free Wi-Fi in the hostel. The library is too good. There is no shortage of books, we can issue books for 30 days. Hence, it helps students who cannot afford pricey books.
Faculty: The qualifications of most of the professors are top-notch. Almost all are Ph.D. holders. Even one is an MBA and CFA also. Teachers are quite helpful as well as strict. The curriculum is relevant to the best of my knowledge. As from 2nd year, OPD postings start. Yes, they make students industry-ready. Exams are difficult according to me. A total of 6 exams happen in a year: 2 sessionals, then one semester in 6 months. The best of 2 sessionals is counted. Students do fail in anatomy exams as they take it slightly.
Other: I want to help people as well as I want to earn good, which is possible by this course. Truly speaking, extensive knowledge of the human body makes me feel awesome. A stipend for internship should be provided to students, it will motivate them a lot. There is no official fest and freshers provided by the college, but students do organize them on their own. There are clubs like sports, photography, drama, singing. The Rotaract Club is there for exposure. Umeed NGO is also there, which helps in building the CV.

The campus area is very small.
Placements: This college is the first pharmacy college in India. It has a good reputation, but the chances for placements after graduation are less. Companies do visit but mostly for MBA students. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA to 5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 20 LPA to 25 LPA. Students can go for government jobs like drug inspectors after graduation.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is top-notch and the college provides everything that is required in pharmacy. Classrooms are good and big. They have Wi-Fi which students can access. Library is good and has all the books related to pharmacy and also has computers which students can avail. There is no canteen in college but a small mother dairy. There are medical facilities as there is OPD in the college and have a sports complex.
Faculty: The faculty members and professors of college are top notch professors are highly qualified and they are friendly in nature towards the students they help students with their work and even help outside their fields. The students can do internship in 2nd year which will make them ready for placements. The college exams are not that much tough and happen on time in a year there are 2 sessional and in january there emd semester exam.
Other: This course has good opportunities in the future and is currently trending. There are no fests and events that happen in college but there are some national and international conferences related to pharmacy that happen.

Q:   Can I get Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University, MBA with 88% in GPAT?

A:

Although 88% on the GPAT is a good score, entrance to Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University's MBA programme may not be assured with that score alone. Should the competition change, an 88% GPAT might be adequate this year, even though it wasn't in past years. Go to the DPSRU website and look for the official MBA cutoff scores from the prior year.
