Dissatisfied with college placement and mess. Satisfied because of the faculty and library.

Placements: Around 50 students got placed out of 400 this year in DIT University. The highest package was over 1 crore per annum on off-campus, The average salary package ranged from 6 LPA - 7 LPA. And the lowest salary package was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Decathlon, Infosys, Yamaha, and Byju's. About 60% of students secured internships. Top roles offered were in CSE and IT.

DIT University Dehradun is located in Dehradun and offers many courses.

Placements: In this university, most students try for off-campus placements. The number of companies visiting here in the placement season is slightly less compared to other colleges, but most students get placed if students maintain a decent CGPA throughout their course.

Genuine review of DIT University, Dehradun.

Placements: 50% placement rate is there. The highest package was around 40 LPA. The lowest was around 2–4 LPA. The companies are Paloalto, TCS and HCL. The internship facility is not good here and too many internships are there. You pay and you get an internship. The mass recruitment of students is there.

The college infrastructure is good, but faculty members are not up to the mark.

Placements: In our college, almost 70% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 58 LPA by Palo Alto. Top recruiting companies like Optum, Mindtree, Trilogy, etc., visit our campus. Internships are not good on campus. You have to try it off campus. The top role offered is a software developer.

Dissatisfied with high fees for both academic and hostel fees.

Placements: In Computer Science & Engineering placement is good. My batch is 2021 passout so due to covid in 2020 our batch placement is not good just average, approximately 65% students got placed in CSE the highest package was 8lpa and the lowest as low as 2.7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Cognizant, Birlasoft and Infosys. Top roles offered are Software engineer and full stack developer.

It is an average college in a beautiful location.

Placements: Placements in DIT University are not excellent, but it is average. If you are from the CSE and IT courses, then you can easily get an average salary package of 3.5 LPA. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Adobe, and Amazon do not visit the campus. The highest salary package offered in the college is 21 LPA. Mass recruiting companies are Infosys, Wipro, TCS, and HCL.

It has good hostel facilities and hygienic mess.

Placements: Most of the students got placed in mass recruiting companies. The highest package offered was 17 LPA (only 1 person), the average package was 7-8 LPA, and the lowest package was 4 LPA. There were several recruiters for core CSE, but no company visited specifically for cybersecurity. We had to prepare and reach out to them on our own.

The placement are not that good but if joining you will atleast be happy with professors here.

Placements: The placements are below average, no good company actually visits the campus for hiring and even if any company comes the packages provided to students are low which is a demotivating for students only few take up the jobs and rest look for their own.

Only a few branches have knowledgeable teachers and others play politics in the organisation.

Placements: There were no placements for ECE students. You have only one option to go with IT companies, not core or electronics companies. So my suggestion is that please don't opt for ECE branch in this university. Computer science course is best for this organisation because placements of CSE branch is quite high than other branches so please go only for CSE branch.

A good engineering college but not for civil engineering.

Placements: The placement here was pretty weak, especially in our branch, even if students get placed, it was not related to civil engineering. Students get placed in IT firms or end up in some marketing job. Only 3-5% student got placed, and it was same in our senior batch too.

Overall the college is good. The climate was outstanding.

Placements: Placements in our batch are not that much good, but placements for our senior were good. Around 40% of students in our batch and almost 70% of the senior batch are placed. The highest salary package offered is 12LPA. Companies like Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Spectraforce visited the campus for placements.

Join the college for its location and Dehradun's weather.

Placements: The college doesn't provide placements, especially for the students of architecture branch. But due to the goodwill of college, it was easier for students to find a job in a decent architecture studio. Same was the case with internships. A job-hunt resulted in making students self-reliable and more independent.

Review of DIT University.

Placements: Only IT companies and consultancy firms visited our campus for placements. None of the companies of the core branch visited our campus for placement. The average salary package was very low. Students did not get what they deserved. Most of the students got placed in companies like Infosys and Cognizant. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA.

You can have awesome weather here. Placements were average. You can take admission in this college.

Placements: Our college provides good placement opportunities for the students of the IT department. Placements for MBA students are also good. But the placements for the rest of the departments were nearly nil. The highest salary package offered was around 9 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA to 3 LPA. The placement cell in our college is cooperative and good. They offer roles in IT, CSE, marketing and BPO sectors.

Satisfied with the facilities and most of the faculty, but placements require a lot of improvement.

Placements: Placements in college were not at all satisfying for our batch as well as our senior batch. A sufficient number of companies were not invited to the university, and the invited companies were maximum for computer science and IT engineering students. Only one civil engineering company was invited, and that company also provided a very low salary package. A maximum of 5% of students got placed from the civil engineering department with an average salary package of 1.50 LPA. Companies such as Infos...

Dissatisfied with the faculty, management, and placement cell.

Placements: Placements in our college are not that good. Most placements are provided through off-campus drives, but they advertise at different websites that they guarantee 100% placements. Students from CS branch are provided more opportunities for campus placements rather than other branches.

Apart from placements and fees, the college is good.

Placements: The highest package offered for CSE students is 9 LPA this year. It feels like it would be a mistake if I join any other college as the overall highest package offered in our college is 25 LPA. Seniors seem to be struggling a lot to get placed in a company for a package of 3 LPA. Placements for petroleum students are quite good this year.

Really good location and infrastructure.

Placements: There is a good scope for CS and IT branch only. Other branches like civil, mechanical, and electrical have no scope for campus placements. The highest package offered in campus placements is 10 LPA and the average is 3.50 LPA. The whole focus of placements is on CS and IT grads only.
